This is one of my all time favourite movies. I have seen it so many times and I never get tired of watching it!! Loved this video becuase it is their story perfectly wrapped up!!
I do remember watching it at least 3 times after my dad's death in 1997 together with my mom. I still love that movie which resembles much of my life story, Both Streisand and Bridges are superb in their cast for this comedy. Tks.

Ironically Barbra Streisand had just started dating James Brolin, who she went on to marry as we all very well know. They will be celebrating 25 years of marriage this coming July. Sadly my relationship only lasted 7 years, and we no longer speak to each other, so unfortunately the song I finally found someone” may have been a song which symbolises happiness for many, and is often played at weddings, it only serves to remind me that I did not find someone After 3 subsequent failed relationships thereafter, I can only say I never found someone! However it doesn’t detract from the song itself, and I still love hearing Streisand and Adam’s duet it. Great song! And Streisand’s vocals, wow what can I say, they remain flawless throughout! She is undoubtedly one of the if not THE greatest female artists of our generation.

Friendship ending in love is much better and you would hope that the lust and sex comes with it at some point because that is also really important for a partnership. People need to be loved, touched and hugged. We all need that physical contact.
