Hershel: "Things break but they can still grow." Michonne is smiling, Carl is reading comics, kids are running around, plants are growing and Maggie might even be pregnant (but no, they had us supposing it)... Almost like humans are having another chance in this world... BUT... We are only on episode 1 of season 4 so horror is waiting for us in the corners. Beth reminded us that we can't get attached to people, and Kelly, a bride with a walker head as a husband was such a good representation of how everything is broken out there... The death of Patrick and poor Violet hints to other dangers besides the walkers that our heroes will have to deal with very soon! One of the best scenes, or at least a scene that raises again moral questions, was Rick and Carl. After all he's been through at such a young age, can we blame Carl for seeing things the way he does? And finally a small disappointement on how Andrea died but we find a little comfort that we didn't see a governor torture scene... Regarding the tier list ... It's your list and interesting to see the way you see the characters. For myself I would have left Judith in a lower tier, but only because she has no real contribution to make (for the time being). I agree with a lot (most) of your choices, and those I don't I respect your reasons why, yes the gov was a supreme bad guy. I'm sure you'll enjoy this season very much, and I'm looking forward to your reactions to it. You both made me laugh at times in this one and for that... I thank you. Season 4 already :)
I read that the opening. And the walkers change with each season because in reality things age and deterioration takes place. So the walkers skin starts to become more unstable. Thats why the skin stretches off the skeleton with time. And with the change of the added people they have to evolve on how they support the new group with food. I'm with you, wondering why they didn't move into Woodbury? Love your reviews. Can't wait till Thursday🙋
HEY, be careful of the comment sections people are spoiling stuff with by saying things to know about this season, then they just tell you stuff that will be revealed in time. Please stay away from scrolling comments, seems to be trolls here.
I love the bond that Daryl has with Carol and the bond he has with Beth, and heck, even the bromance with Rick. I love the growth of Carol. She started out so meek and a shell of a woman and is growing into a strong, capable woman.
Remember Herschel told Rick how Carl "gunned that kid down". The one that was running through and took forever to drop his gun so Carl shot him. Rick doesn't want him to turn into a savage "Shane". I think that's also what helped Rick come back from "wandering in crazy town"
I love the scene where Rick is trying to convince creepy Clara from the woods to not kill herself because Rick has been in a bad mental state like she was and wasn’t far off from where she was and he sees himself in her just damn beautiful. P.S. Andrew Lincoln once again shows off his superior acting skills 😁
How weird it must be for Daryl to find he is the cool rockstar at the prison. You have to know he has never experienced anything like that before and even though it's plain to me that he has had the respect and affection of the core group for a while now I don't he really understands that himself. His lack of self worth is built on a lifetime of abuse. First from his father and later, despite love and loyalty, from Merle.
The Season 3 finale takes place on Day 321 after the Zombie Apocalypse began. Rick has been awake from his coma now for 441 days/14 months 21 days. This episode takes place on Day 500 after the Zombie Apocalypse began. The break between Season 3 and Season 4 was 179 ( 500 - 321 ) Days 6 Months.
Beth's and Daryl's hug though🥺 and it's great to see how they included the increased danger that infections, viruses etc create now because under normal circumstances they would probably be easy to deal with and treat with a high chance of surviving with getting medication or a vaccine and you'd be good to go in like a couple of days but now that you don't have access to stuff like that something as small as the flu could potentially kill you. I gotta say in my opinion season 4 has some of the best episodes and some of the best character moments. maan.. I can't wait

Season 4 and Farmer Rick! I totally get why Carol wanted to teach the kids how to protect themselves, And Carl especially should understand. We've got some really good episodes coming guys! 🧟♀️🧟♂️
The Irish woman is Kerry Condon. She went on to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role as Colin Farrell’s sister in The Banshees of Inisherin. She’s an amazing talent!
Another great reaction! These were my favorite episodes! The three questions are carried though the show and they come from Jim when Rick believed he was speaking to another community on the phone:) This show just gets better and better!
I'm loving seeing the tiers change. I can understand how Beth ended up in B tier at this point in the show. She hadn't really been given a chance to shine at this point. I think you get to see more of her in season 4
In the beginning you talked about Lori and Andrea. Lori was writing accurate to the source material. I think she was written that way to be sort of a source of pain and issues with Rick, as you mentioned before they had marital problems before the apocalypse and then they were basically together out of habit and survival. So, her character I think was supposed to be sort of not that likable. As for the Andrea character, her storyline veered from the comics and it seemed to be an issue with the show runner/writers and the actress herself. So, the actor who played Andrea expected to be in the show much longer and was just as surprised as the audience when she found out she was being killed off. Rumors had it she might not have gotten along with the cast or maybe the writers just didn’t like the version of how she played it, or they just decided to go in a new direction outside the comics. Either way, agreed that the writing for her made her not that great of a character, she had her moments, but overall came across as overly arrogant and self righteous and then yeah inconsistent in the end.
The questions that Rick asks people before letting them in are the same questions he had to answer from all the previous characters he got the phone all from
This season its not the best because s2 and s6 exist but honestly it was almost there. Perfect from beginning to end, both parts. Looking forward to this!
He had the perfect opportunity to kill him. He should've. Watching him gun down all of those people. He put his son in harm's way and got him killed. He was behind the governor with his gun pointed right at him. If anyone had the opportunity it was him but since he didn't pull the trigger the governor killed him
Thanks for recognising in your tier list that for you to have to be annoyed by a villain and hate a villain that means they’ve done their job and that they’re a great actor(in most cases like this one) some people don’t realise that which is a shame.
Started watching this reaction series about 20 hours ago, I’m flying though it and I love that you haven’t been spoiled! I can’t wait to start your reaction to Fear TWD (much respect for a man that loves a good white claw😂)
The point of Rick and that girl Clara is that she feeds her dead walker husband human people She feeds the head of her husband Rick somehow feels he was close to going crazy as she did when Lori died She hold on to him like if he wasn’t dead He didn’t get too far gone like she did.
Just a little trivia a new showrunner has taken over at the start of this Season it’s Scott Gimple now the previous showrunner’s decision killing Andrea with other stuff ended up in him pretty much being fired Season 3 was great but there was behind the scenes drama I will leave it at that.
I think the relevance of the woman in the woods is that Rick saw what he couldve/wouldve become after Lori's death if it wasn't for his people. its a scary thought that Rick couldve ended up similar to her as he wasn't far off for a while
For the scene in which Hershel is on a knee tending to the garden, the metal bottom of his new prosthetic leg can be seen poking out out of his pants. This scene required Scott Wilson, who has both legs in real life, to bury his leg up to his knee in dirt. And, For the scene in which Hershel is on a knee tending to the garden, the metal bottom of his new prosthetic leg can be seen poking out out of his pants. This scene required Scott Wilson, who has both legs in real life, to bury his leg up to his knee in dirt. And the title of the episode, "30 Days Without An Accident", refers to the chart that Beth has. The group had gone 30 days without an accident, and Beth removes the 3 in 30 to make 0 Days without an accident due to Zach's death.
Scott Gimple is fixing the wrap up to the Prison Arc by making it more Comic Accurate while also adding an original storyline with a sickness. This will become a trend every season after this. Comic Storylines with Original storylines mixed in. We sort of had this in Season 2 but not so much in Season 3.
Michonne is scavaging and looking for the Gov thats why Rick asked her that. Also did you know that Patrick is the voice of Phineas from Phineas & Ferb the disney cartoon
You are so lucky to be able to flip from episode to episode. Season to season. I have spent many a sleepless Sunday night watching this show! When a season would end, I trolled the internet watching potential WD spoilers and theories. Each season is a chapter. Hope you enjoy season 4!
Idk if you've figures it out yet (haven't finished the video yet) but the dad of Ben, can't remember his name but the D tier guy lol, was shot in the head by the Governor. He raised his gun to him and the Governor shot him with his pistol. Just to refresh you guys :)
And so, Farmer Rick makes his debut! Daryl being awesome, as always~ and his friendship with Carol is so sweet 😁 Beth's teenage romance ended short~ Rip the guy who's name I never bothered to learn. 😆 Aaand looking forward to the next episode
I love all your grading of the characters and yes, people got to look at it from a perspective that you have only watched the first 3 seasons. Lots of new characters and your right, Rick has made a complete change, he's a farmer now and is no longer leading the group really
Tier list was fair... The kid that blocked the shot for Governor by accident..from Merle. (His Dad got gunned down by Governor, Just before Governor,Martinez and Big 3rd Guy left the scene)
Walking dead lore, Fun facts: way back in 2014, that little hug between Beth and Daryl at the end of the episode just about broke the internet and very nearly tore the walking dead fandom apart, igniting one of the largest shipping wars ever to hit a fandom of the walking dead's caliber and size. When you guys finish the series you should really go back and check out the walking dead fan lore pages and read all the crazy and wacky things that went on within the fandom over the years this show aired. Some of it is absolutely fascinating, lol
@@robtrinreact2825 lol, on future episodes my lips are sealed. On this episode, I will say though, that I don't feel Beth was being sassy at all, but more recognizing in Daryl how hard it was for him to come and tell her the bad news and how much all these losses are weighing on him. She really is becoming the emotional strength of their little group, and in this episode she's giving some of that strength to Daryl in much the same way she did with her father after he lost his limb. the way she has consistantly cared for Judith, and the way she was there for sister after the Governor last season. I feel the group needs Beth as much as Beth needs the group. They just haven't realized it yet. I have so much respect for that character, and after all these years, and all the shit that's gone down, she is still one of my favourites.
@@dancingdragonfly1667 I absolutely agree. It was always apparent to me how awkward Daryl was dealing with that hug. Frankly I was proud of him that he didn't shrug away from her. Beth was just being Beth. She grew up in a loving family, unlike Daryl, and gives physical affection without a second thought. To me it was kinda funny. I love that she doesn't edit herself when others plainly still respect his boundaries. He's come a long way but he's hardly warm and fuzzy. Rick and Carol are allowed in... maybe Michonne but everyone else recognizes they need an invitation, lol.
Loving the new background! Just fyi, not all the new people are from Woodbury; over the past several months, the group has brought in different groups of ppl.
I see you've met my least favorite character. Lizzie. The older girl who was naming the walkers. So have you noticed that the walkers are more decomposed after this time jump? Seeing your reactions, you might want to have a trashcan handy. 😉 A cool little fact is that the walking dead logo at the start of the show decomposes more and more with each season.
In reference to y'all talking about "time jumps" between seasons-- Just for future reference, GENERALLY, not always but generally, the time skips are going to jump over winter. Maybe more or a bit less, but that's generally the timetable
I write a lot of these comments discussing changes the show made from the source material. A lot of the first half of season 4 is exclusive to the tv show so i want to talk about the changes to the characters tyresse was with when he first appeared in season 3. As usual there are comic spoilers so avoid reading this if you want to read them. First up, with his family. In the comics, Sasha doesn't exist. Instead he is with his daughter Julie and her boyfriend Chris. Those 2 characters are the first two people we see die and come back to life without being bitten so that's how the group finds out that they're all infected - the CDC scenes weren't in the book. They both die in the prison so they find out a bit later in terms of where the story is. Also, Tyreese was introduced much earlier in the comics, the group came across him as they were leaving atlanta and he ended up becoming ricks right hand man, doing a lot of things that daryl would've done (daryl is exclusive to the TV show). Next is Allen, Donna and ben. Just like in the TV show, allen and donna are the parents of ben except ben has a twin brother named billy, they are carls age in the book. These characters are part of the original camp the survivors were at in atlanta. Donna is bitten on the eye when the group is searching for supplies between atlanta and hershels farm. Later on at the prison, allen is bitten on the leg just like hershel was when clearing out the prison and rick amputates his leg as well. The key difference between these scenes is that allen still dies either from a combination of infection, blood loss and shock. It's important to note that they do try it again when dale is bitten and he does survive. Since they are now orphaned, billy and ben are adopted by andrea and dale. There are TV show equivalents for Billy and Ben who were introduced in this episode, Lizzie and Mica. They share similar storylines that i won't talk about here. These characters were all very heavily remixed despite the comic versions of the characters being them essentially teaching the group about how the walkers work (everybody turns and amputation being the only way to stop it eventhough it's risky)
I don’t know if you know this, but for tier lists, I believe you can rank them within the letter. For example, being closer to the S than another person means you like them more than the person further from the S. I believe that’s correct, I could be wrong
Michonne is still looking for the Govenor. The Father of the Kid got shot by the Govenor. In the meantime they took in some People not only the Woodbury People
The reason Rick isn't carrying his gun is because of Carl gunning down that kid last season. Rick wants to show his that it doesn't need to be like that. I love the beginning of this season. And the soundtrack this season is on point.
That's not too many people on the tier list.. ha.. and you were worried about doing it for season 3 😊 I agree heavily with the list. I would just change Morgan to "S" or at least "A". He's only been on 2 episodes so far but from what we've seen of him so far he's given a fantastic performance as well as the impact that he's made on Rick. Other than that, Good job👍
I love how the artist put Project Zomboid on a billboard in the background. That's a nice little Easter Egg for gamers who are fans of the zombie genre and The Walking Dead. :)
Oh my god yeah , I just noticed i recently only watched better call sual , and it has been a few years since I watched season 4 of twd , also her character was pretty small role just this episode so I didn't remember she was in twd also
I couldn't wait for you to see this episode, and there is so much more to come! It's interesting to see your tier system for the characters and where they rank, in your view, and why. Two things to note. Rick's decision to take away Carl's gun for now, and Rick's choice to not carry a weapon himself. Carl clearly can defend himself at this point. Rick is trying to help Carl to find a balance between being capable of defending himself, and not becoming a completely ruthless person, not being a cold blooded killer. Keeping his empathy for other people, and his humanity intact, or at least trying to. Two, the illness at the prison, takes on another level when you consider the pandemic that has swept through the world in the past few years. The community at the prison has a new enemy or threat that they can't see. An illness that they are not (yet) aware of.
Ah day 500, roughly, really the point where the show steps into next gear. Season 4 has its highs and lows, but on average its a very solid season and the worldbuilding (visually) is stepped up a notch, the decay is starting to really set in, which makes sense, we're well into the apocalypse now and the survivors (and the watchers) consider themselves battle hardened. On a side note, Rick is partially based on Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus, a madlad that came into power, only to stop and turn into a farmer again once the threat had been dealt with.
This was a great introduction to a season, very fun. A couple different sub plots and the new character interactions were good. The ending of the episode was exciting, I remember sitting at the end of my seat waiting for the next Sunday. Love this reaction, the tier list was agreeable as well. I've said it so many times but I adore all of your commentary's and opinions.

Scott Gimple is fixing the wrap up to the Prison Arc by making it more Comic Accurate while also adding an original storyline with a sickness. This will become a trend every season after this. Comic Storylines with Original storylines mixed in. We sort of had this in Season 2 but not so much in Season 3.
the time jump, 'turn the page', beginning to the season is a stark reminder of what the show is about, walkers. good job guys.
Glad you are both enjoying the show. I’ve been watching your reactions every week from the start and always look forward to them. Welcome to season 4!
Michonne is scavaging and looking for the Gov thats why Rick asked her that. Also did you know that Patrick is the voice of Phineas from Phineas & Ferb the disney cartoon
This season is incredible and I absolutely cannot wait to watch you react to it.
Yeah we weren't super sure, thank you Demon 🤗
@@robtrinreact2825 No problem 🤗
Cannot wait for reactions for episodes 4x8-5x3 one of the best eras of TWD
The woman Rick meets in the woods who takes him to her husband (the head) is Mike's daughter-in-law from Better Call Saul.
And so, Farmer Rick makes his debut!
Daryl being awesome, as always~ and his friendship with Carol is so sweet 😁
Beth's teenage romance ended short~ Rip the guy who's name I never bothered to learn. 😆
Aaand looking forward to the next episode
I love all your grading of the characters and yes, people got to look at it from a perspective that you have only watched the first 3 seasons. Lots of new characters and your right, Rick has made a complete change, he's a farmer now and is no longer leading the group really
Rob....."This is going to be a problem"......Pretty much the plot of every episode. :)
Yay season 4! Can't wait to see the reaction ❤️✨I love season 4
The first half is meh
Season 4 best season
This season is without a doubt the best season in twd universe
And you guys need to watch the uncensored version for the last episode (s4e16)
Tier list was fair...
The kid that blocked the shot for Governor by accident..from Merle.
(His Dad got gunned down by Governor, Just before Governor,Martinez and Big 3rd Guy left the scene)
My Tier-List for season 3:
S-Tier: Daryl, Carol, The Governor
A-Tier: Hershel, Maggie, Michonne, Merle, Tyreese, Sasha
B-Tier: Carl, Judith, Axel, Oscar, T-Dog, Milton, Martinez, Rick, Glenn
C-Tier: Lori, Beth, Karen
D-Tier: Big Tiny, Tomas, Andrew
F-Tier: Allen, Ben
This is a cool Background. The background with the Zombies is a neat touch.
A prisoner buried the gun most likely.
~Rob, oh am glad that I wasn't the only one seeing that, that hug was somehow "strange" I can imagine it raised crazy thoughts amongst the fans^^
You are in for a hell of a ride! This season is incredible and is easily top 3 of the series.
Seasons 4-11 Are Going To Be A Long Ride
I see you've met my least favorite character. Lizzie. The older girl who was naming the walkers.
So have you noticed that the walkers are more decomposed after this time jump? Seeing your reactions, you might want to have a trashcan handy. 😉 A cool little fact is that the walking dead logo at the start of the show decomposes more and more with each season.
New Guy Alcoholic is named Bob. He features hilariously in the next Walking Dead Lip Sync (which you can watch end of season 4)
In reference to y'all talking about "time jumps" between seasons--
Just for future reference, GENERALLY, not always but generally, the time skips are going to jump over winter.
Anyone else here thinking pennywise is sitting left to Rob? XD
How many walkers have you killed?
How many people you have killed?
Why?
Ah these 3 questions it's been so long i heard it..
I don’t know if you know this, but for tier lists, I believe you can rank them within the letter. For example, being closer to the S than another person means you like them more than the person further from the S.
I believe that’s correct, I could be wrong
These first 5 episodes is great in my book and episode 8 is one of the best episodes in the whole show and season 4 is one of the best
"He's not lasting" Foreshadowing lol
We can't stop guessing :)
Fun fact: Patrick in real life plays Phineas and Ferb on Disney
That's not too many people on the tier list.. ha.. and you were worried about doing it for season 3 😊 I agree heavily with the list. I would just change Morgan to "S" or at least "A". He's only been on 2 episodes so far but from what we've seen of him so far he's given a fantastic performance as well as the impact that he's made on Rick. Other than that, Good job👍
I love how the artist put Project Zomboid on a billboard in the background. That's a nice little Easter Egg for gamers who are fans of the zombie genre and The Walking Dead. :)
Yeah this background is amazing, we are so blessed!
Crazy how the dirty woman in the woods plays Mike's daughter in law on Better Call Saul lol
Oh my god yeah , I just noticed i recently only watched better call sual , and it has been a few years since I watched season 4 of twd , also her character was pretty small role just this episode so I didn't remember she was in twd also
We hope we can watch Better Call Saul at some point on the channel :)
Alright, alright, here we go! My favourite season of the show!
Took me 24 minutes to realise the background behind you wasnt real. My first thought was why did he board his window up😂😂
I couldn't wait for you to see this episode, and there is so much more to come!
It's crazy that we are watching this after we went through the pandemic indeed, it hits harder somehow
He's just a head,get it . 😂😂
😅
You guys finally made it to one of my favorite seasons. All I can say is. Buckle up. It’s going to be a hell of a ride
Tyreese is undislikeble
I love watching your reaction channel its definitely the best I have ever seen...you both rock it...big time...
This season is one of my favorites. I think you’re gonna love it. So much to react to.
R.I.P. Zach. I hated the drunk guy, I can’t even remember his name and I’ve watched this show a million times 😂
Love getting off work and watching these, i like the longer videos, keep it up :)👍
Glad you like them! Tier list videos are usually longer :)
DARYL LICKED HIS FINGERS DARYL KILLED HIM LOL
the background is incredible
Thank you so much, we are proud to have our proper background (it was made a lovely person from our community )
Rip to the woman at 37:31, Zack and Patrick I wish they had survived longer
Yeah really thought that Patrick would be more in it for some reason.
A good start to the season and another winter timejump, lots of new unknown people to get used to
I feel like Rick saw Lauri in the crazy woman. How he couldn’t save her even when he had a second chance. I’m guessing that’s why he was so distraught
Thank you Zolline 🤗 🤗 we love your sweet and insightful comments aswell everytime
The first occurrence of Pookie! ❤
41:01 I love you’re 🙄 and then the ahhhhgh 😂🤣😂🤣
I’ve woke up with an awful hangover, go onto UA-cam and see this , I’m already starting to feel better 😹 , love u guys reactions haha :) have a great day
Aww Faith, hope you are doing great now. Happy you like our reactions 🤗🤗
Man you guys are flying through it!
You might have picked up on it in editing, but when Rick asked her why she had killed that one person - ie, herself - the woman at the end said: "You don't get to come back from the things you've done." Wonder what she meant. Hmmm.
Action-packed video, Rob & Trin. Thank you so much. Love your work. I might have to sub your Patreon to get a look at your BSG reactions!
Yeah we picked up that line 😉 thank you Cheree.
And yeah BSG is really the hardest to get en youtube, it's gets claimed for the slightest things, and we literally have no time to play the claim game with youtube 🙂
Jooooin usssss. BSG clan are smaller than they should be given what an amazing show it is due to UA-cam being a problem. We try and recruit like a cult in R+T discord but tough to encourage people who came for other reasons to watch it. Hope to see you there! (Joooooin ussszz)
My weekends are always better when I get to kick back and watch a TWD reaction🙌🏻
Hope you had a lovely weekend L D!
@@robtrinreact2825 very much so I hope you guys did as well!
But back at it tomorrow 😂
a nice wholesome start to a new season
Welcome to Season 4! It has its powerful moments, and overall still on par to what TWD is about!
