Есть много вещей, которые люди на западе не понимают об этом конфликте, и в рамках даже двух часового интервью этого не объяснить. Давайте попробую хоть немного пояснить в чем проблема и почему так вышло. Путин не просто так первые 30 минут потратил на исторический экскурс и упомянул про украинскую идентичность. Дело в том, что когда распался СССР, то во многих бывших республиках, которые вдруг обрели "независимость" , местная элита не нашла ничего лучше, как строить свою идентичность на противопоставлении себя СССР и России, в итоге это привело к росту национализма в этих новых "странах" и к крайним формам этого национализма - неонацизма. Но вот в чем проблема, большинство этих новых стран либо не существовало как отдельное государство, либо было не жизнеспособно в рамках отдельного государства, так как большую часть своей истории они входили в состав Российской империи и СССР, и соответственно имеют общую историю с Россией на протяжении сотен, а то и тысячи лет, как в случаи с Украиной, государства которого до прошлого века вообще не существовало. И дело в том, что из за общей истории, у этих государств все победы, все герои и достижения тоже общие с Россией!!! А как тогда строить свою идентичность на противопоставление с Россией, если ни каких достижений без России у них нет? Вот вам и парадокс Украины, которая отказалась от великих достижений, ну потому что они неотъемлемо связаны с Россией, и вытащила из темных углов истории, о которых другие страны предпочитают молчать , псевдо героев типа Шухевича и Бандеры, которые не то что герои, они убийцы, нацисты, которые сотрудничали с Гитлером, устраивали резню, проводили геноцид и так далее. Вторым аспектом являются интересы третьих стран, которые конечно же воспользовавшись положением , хотели сдержать развитие такого конкурента как Россия. И конечно же они поддержали весь этот шабаш с националистами, конечно же они спонсировали их, конечно же они помогли устроить переворот и конечно же вели все к конфликту Украины с Россией, так как это выгодно когда у твоего конкурента проблемы. И вот мы приходим к тому, что начиная еще с 2014г. и переворота, они привели к власти в Украине подконтрольные им власти, а основой этого переворота были те самые "националисты" с явной идеологией на уровне нацизма, и когда юго-восток Украины и Крым не согласились, они попытались подавить это силой, что по сути привело к гражданской войне. Более того, западным гражданам не рассказывали их СМИ, а на самом деле все 8 лет с 2014г. до 2022г. украинская власть проводила политику "Анти-России", по которой они делили собственных граждан на "правильных" и "не правильных" по языку, по истории, по религии и культуре, все это сопровождалось кучей законов, по которым запрещали русский язык в СМИ, запрещали обучение на русском языке, запрещали книги и фильмы на русском, убирали праздники мазанные с Россией или СССР, сносили памятники, переименовывали улицы, создали целый сайт, назвав его саркастически "миротворец", куда без всякого закона вносили людей и опубликовали их личную информацию, где их называли предателями и которых потом прессовали их националисты, типа С14 и подобные, некоторых даже убили. Просто еще раз поясню для западных зрителей, вы не знаете даже 10% того, что происходило последние 8 лет на Украине и до 2022г.. Вы не понимаете каким обманом к власти пришел Зеленский, который из своих предвыборных обещаний не выполни практически ничего, и по сути сделал все ровно наоборот. И когда вы задумываетесь , "А правду говорит Путин или нет?", то это очень легко проверить, все это есть в интернете, надо только поискать.

Послушайте. Не буду ничего рассказывать, но проверьте сами, только очень подробно пару случаев. Таких случаев с громкой оглаской наберётся не один десяток. Проверьте последних Бутов, Бутина и Ассанж. Кроме Бутиной , все были арестованы в обход закона в других странах, не являясь гражданами США. Против Бутова дело вообще сфабриковали, Бутина нарушила закон по незнанию, как вы утверждаете это сделал Горшкевич, а Ассанж так вообще журналист, австралийский гражданин и опубличил свои сведения, и , как раз по закону США, сделал это на вполне законных основаниях. Но все эти люди получили сроки более 20 лет! Хотя ни один из них не действовал против интересов США.

Ещё бы про Гуантанамо не забывали. А-то как обычно, законы в Америке "очень хорошие" и очень хорошо работают, но не для всех. Это главное отличае от России. Даже если законы наши западу не нравятся, но они работают ДЛЯ ВСЕХ. И только в таком случае, это может называться законом. А двойные стандарты не наш путь. В конечном итоге двойные стандарты приводят не только к несправедливости в обществе и мире, но и к полному абсурду и позору, где президентов за одно и то же преступление одному объявляют импичмент, а другого гладят по головке, ведь он просто старенький маразматик, пожалеть его нужно.

But their plans are more grandiose - get rid of the remnants of the Russian Orthodox Church (destroy the Russian world), they consider the new schismatic Ukrainian church as an organization that largely influences the huge masses of people in Ukraine, the right people are already everywhere and are firmly connected with the special services USA, Canada and UK. Ukrainian propaganda says today that the Orthodox priests of Ukraine - are Moscow priests (this is a direct quote). Although most of the priests were born and raised in Ukraine and speak Ukrainian. And today we see the expulsion of Orthodox priests from churches, criminal cases for Russian books, accusations of spying for Russia, the seizure of churches. This is happening right now, before our very eyes. The people are not blind, they see it all and understand what is happening. Why did I pay so much attention to this? Russians have great respect for their church and it is a veeery, veeery important part of their national code.
All these steps, fatal for Ukraine, were made under the influence of Western countries and led to war. Russia made all diplomatic overtures to prevent such a development of events. Minsk agreements - These are concrete steps to resolve the conflict between the rebellious regions and the new Nazi authorities. The Minsk agreements were invented by Russia and they leave the rebel regions within the borders of Ukraine (Russia especially insisted on this !!!). Russia for more than 8 years - since 2014 - did not recognize the independence of the republics of Donbass and counted on a peaceful resolution of the conflict with Ukraine within the framework of the Minsk agreements that leave Donbass as part of Ukraine. That is, Russia fought to the end for the preservation of Ukraine within its borders. Ukraine completely ignored these agreements, the guarantors of which were Germany and France, By relying on a forceful solution to the problem (by destroying the Russians in the Donbass - these are the historical lands of the Russian empire until 1922, which Ukraine did not return to Russia after leaving the USSR in 1991). For all 8 years, the Guarantors did not demand the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements from Kyiv. Later it became clear why: in December 2022, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted: «the Minsk agreements were an attempt to give Kyiv time to strengthen» - she said in an interview with the Die Zeit newspaper. In this way from the very beginning, no one was going to perform them. Ukraine needed time to pump up Western weapons against the Donbass. The Minsk agreements gave them that time. In November 2022, Russian pranksters on behalf of the former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul called the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who signed the Minsk agreements. Poroshenko, thinking he was talking to an American, said that he "needed these agreements" in order to "get at least 4.5 years" to "form the Ukrainian armed forces, build the Ukrainian economy and train the Ukrainian military along with NATO to create the best army in Eastern Europe”. It was evident how he was discouraged by Merkel's recognition of the sabotage of the Minsk agreements by Germany and France from the very first minutes after the signing, his purely human emotions are clearly visible at the same time - confusion by this betrayal. He couldn't expect that from someone he truly believed. Then he slowly said that the decision to launch a special military operation was correct in the light of the newly discovered circumstances (from Frau Merkel). “The Minsk agreements of 2014-2015 gave Ukraine time to strengthen the country’s armed forces. Yes, Angela Merkel is right. The Minsk agreements stopped the Russian offensive for a while. Ukraine “strengthened its military position”, the country’s army has become better trained and equipped compared to 2014. It is the merit of the Minsk agreements that the Ukrainian army got such an opportunity, "- said on December 30, 2022 in an interview with The Kiev Independent, the former French President Francois Hollande (he held this position from 2012 to 2017) and is one of the signatories of the Minsk agreements. The naive Gorbachev took his word for it without concluding a written agreement on this matter, and of course he was deceived. He withdrew all Russian troops from Europe and reunited both Germany, and then he was cynically deceived - there were 5 waves of NATO expansion to the east.

And already in mid-April 2022, in his interview with the BBC, Zelensky said that the country had begun preparing for a clash with Russia since December 2021.
