**On some devices, the video may seem washed out or have an intense glare. If so, I'd recommend updating the quality of the video in Settings as that seems to fix the problem.

This is really helpful, thank you for sharing this. I might give this a go in a similar way and not attach my emotions to it. Thank you so much!
I have the weekly section in my cousin and now I know what to do to fill up that space.

Very interesting video, I really like how you are approaching the Tarot. Who couldn't use more introspection! ❤❤❤

Interesting. I like the art of tarot cards too. I've never cared about the meanings. Tarot, astrology, religion - it's all the same nonsense to me. I reflect, think deeply, all freaking day. It doesn't turn off. And I research everything.... to death. Sometimes during coloring and art my brain turns off and that is why I refer to it as my meditation time. Nice video Jojo!! 👍🤓🖖👽

So nice to know that someone uses the cards just like me. I use my tarot card once a month and my oracle cards once a week and use them for self-reflection. However each cards have their own journal which I add decoration. All my cards are scanned and added to journal (sticker) with the card information on left side of the journal and on the right side I add my reflection. The tarot and oracle I own have a natural psychology meanings and beautiful artwork. It is wonderful to be creative with them. I love my “The Light Seer’s Tarot” and oracles cards are”Love Who You Are” , “The Healing Waters” and “Tree Keepers”

I too love runaway hobbies. I think that’s why I do so many travel themes in my Hobonichi

I really enjoyed your video and being a deep thinker and very emotional person myself, I really found this an interesting way to record and reflect my thoughts and feelings.
Your cards were also very pretty, the Citadel cards looked lovely. Thank you for this video ❤️

Hi Jojoza! Seasoned tarot reader here who has been using the cards for many years, usually in the same way as you -- for self-reflection! I think many people who are unfamiliar with tarot can be afraid of it because the decks have a Death card and a Devil card. But there is also a Pope, a Popess, an Empress, a Justice card, etc. Meaning: it isn't all full of evil. It's actually a series of depictions of archetypes (similarly to your Citadel Oracle) which shows different aspects of self, others, human psychology, etc. Which is why they're so well suited to self-reflection!
Many tarot decks (such as Mariinthesky's The Gentle Tarot) have excellent guidebooks that come with prompts for each card, which also helps with journaling and introspection (:
Having been part of the community for so long, I've come across many people of different religious or non-religious backgrounds who read tarot cards. Whether you're Hindu, Christian, Pagan, or atheist, you can still find meaning in the cards. I wish there was less stigma surrounding the tarot because realistically, they're just bits of paper/cardstock. And you're right, historically it was a game! (Actually, in French "tarot decks" are still called "jeu de tarot" which means "game of tarot". So no need to take it too seriously!)

It make’s perfect sense to me. I have figured out over time that I am an auditory/tactile learner and visuals are helpful to me but not always necessary. So writing something down for me also helps to remember it or perseverate on something. I like the idea of using these as writing prompts and reflection. Very interesting to me. Having come from New Orleans which has some Voodoo background as well as Catholic- it kind of made me curious but your explanation was excellent. I didn’t feel like you would be dabbling in the dark arts…. And I love Game of Thrones, The Ring Books, Harry Potter- to me they all boil down to good vs evil.

Great. I love it. I purchased an Oracle deck about a year ago "Whispers of Healing" simply for the artwork. Please look it up it's absolutely stunning. I noticed in your Wednesday videos you mentioned a tarot pull so I decided to start actually using it. It's so hard to shuffle so of course I went down the UA-cam rabbit hole of how to shuffle, blah blah blah. And have decided to just shuffle in a way that works and started pulling. I love it for the same reason you do; regular or "traditional" journaling is not my style. I do not like getting my thoughts on paper! So I have decided to add a Oracle Card pull to my daily planner.

I would use tarot exactly how you are going about it. I have a few tarot books. I do not have a deck. I have 2 that I was considering. One being the dark mansion deck! Glad to know you love them. I have an oracle deck. Rooted in color. I also have dream interpretation books. My dreams are bizarre and the interpretation of them is sometimes even more bizarre. I thoroughly enjoyed this chat about introspection. It is a very important thing to do. Thank you for sharing this with us.

If I get a set, I would choose based upon artwork as well. It’s important not to take hobbies or ourselves too seriously- great explanation video

I didn’t see you as using a darker version. Are there different versions? I like the idea for self reflection because I don’t consistently do that enough.

In looking up A6 dimensions I realize that it is roughly 4” x 6”, which is the size of Index cards that have always appealed to me. I now have a better idea of the size.

I am moving into an A6 planner for 2024 and I think it's the perfect size.
