This baby suffers greatly from separation loss distress after losing its mother and the trauma it’s experienced and living. A diaper will help prevent it from self soothing on his privates and create a barrier from putting it in his mouth. Nursing from a bottle will also help done frequently (8 times per day at least.) His need to cling to Ruby is because they’re born with this reflex and why he’s clasping himself and lasts for many months. Since shes bigger than him, soft, warm, has a heartbeat and the closest thing to his mother he’s seen. If he could cling to your chest like Ruby rides on grandpas back it would give him comfort. The circle pillow is a good start but he also needs something to hold or cling to when he’s not being held. Besides nursing for his mental state he needs this nourishment for development especially bones or will end up with rickets. He looks like he might have the start of rickets already. If he’s not interested in formula start with yogurt and after a few feedings of yogurt he will have more interest in the formula. Ruby grooming him should help calm him to some degree since it’s how all primates show care, concern and build bonds.

That guy doesn't care about his monkey if he's chaining him up like that for days at a time AND by his tail no less!!
