DMA Design was bought by Rockstar and they changed their name to Rockstar North in 2002 but GTA is DMA Design creation.
Also, Red Dead Redemption is a Rockstar creation but the game you're referring to is Red Dead Revolver it was made by Capcom but finished by Rockstar. I enjoyed the video nevertheless xD
I still love how Steven sounds like an adult. It would funny if it's been years since Steven left and then all these gems figured out how to make a youtube channel 😂
As someone who's a fan of both the show and this channel, Steven playing GTA seems so surreal if you know his personality canonically. Then again, I had to remind myself that he's FAR more different on this channel and likely doesn't give a fuck, especially since he's around versions of Lapis, Spinel and Peridot who more than likely encourage him to cut loose more.
And even if he does, Garnet seems to be the one who can keep him reigned in from what I can tell. I love how she's the Mom/Disciplinarian of the group. XD!
When it comes to Brosuke's verson of Steven, I chalk it up to one word: Puberty! : 3
@@paragonyoshi4237 Oh definitely, especially when you see how Brosuke's version of Steven is around Lapis in some videos. I remember a couple of videos back they were playing a game together and Lapis was flirting with Steven and he just got so flustered. It legit makes me wonder if the reason we haven't seen Connie make an appearance is because Brosuke prefers Steven with Lapis or maybe even Spinel?

Definitely wouldn't recommend the overhead ones. Had one for PS1 and played exactly like this one. I think it was GTA2.

How rough was the first GTA? The logo looks like something out of YTMND. I reacall actually playing GTA2 first before playing this one. The PC version is a lot more quickier due to stuff like "ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!"
i wouldent mind seeing you guys play the other gta games just remember to look up the cheat codes half the fun in early gta is using the cheat codes and going crazy with what ever you spawn in

Btw, I've played GTA 1 too many times.
i feel like the top-down GTAs are fairly forgettable.
Especially if you grew up with the 3D GTAs.
Since they don't have cutscenes, basically no story and all you're doing is mundane tasks, given to you via short text boxes.
So really, there is nothing really engaging going on.
GTA2 has one infamous mission where you do something very messed up, but beyond that, nothing worth remembering.
The only outliers are the later top-down games, that came when Rockstar was already making 3D GTA games.
Namely, GTA Advance and GTA Chinatown Wars.
With the latter one probably being the best top-down GTA by default.
But even then, they don't stand a chance against the 3D-GTAs. ^^;
As for possible candidates for Retro Universe...
Why not try the OG Resident Evil games?
Classic RE2 and RE3, are strong contenders in my eye. : 3
Not gonna lie it did have a rough start, there’s not much possibility of crimes in the first game.
