Terrell and Sheléa hit the nail on the head. Because if this movie wasn't the gift of Quarantine 2020, most of America would have never watched it. Because we wouldn't have been home to enjoy it. Due to us living our "BEST LIVES" in these streets. God keep us at home to witness the magic that these lovely actresses brought to us. Thank you for this amazing movie.
P.S. I don't watch a lot of television. To be honest I don't even have cable or internet, but I drove to my girlfriend's house(over a hour away) to watch this MASTERPIECE.

*PLUG INSERT* I have a firestick and thought I could just buy it and I couldn't BUT it led me to an app called Philo...it gives you a 7 day trial but I ended up keeping it because it has ALL the Black favs and channels (aspire,cleo,bet) and its only $20 you really get ALOT of channels including lifetime its worth the try. I haven't researched it yet but it may be black owned as well

I truly enjoyed her performance. She got Dorinda voice down pat! I recall Dorinda talking about her suicide attempt at a concert of The Clark Sisters I attended years ago. I would have loved to have seen more of The Bridge scene. I wish they would have considered making the movie into a two part miniseries like The Jacksons.

The sky's the limit for both Shelèa and Terrell and I can't wait for what God has in store for them. When Shelèa was talking about her mother wanting to see her mother one last time it bought me back to wanted to see my cousins again(they're more like siblings to me) and me wanting to lash out because I felt betrayed by God.

The First Lady of gospel is actually Dr. Moss Clarke. This movie should have been a series because they left a lot out.
I feel like the title should have The Clarke Sisters: The Legacy of Dr. Mattie Moss-Clarke. To me she was the protagonist in the movie and should have ended at her funeral so there was an easy cut for sequels from each sisters' perspective.

They grew up with the Winans and Bell Armstrong was a child prodigy in their mothers choir. The movie stopped short of telling their success as solo artist.
