I always associate lettuce or salad leaves with summertime and warmer days… this looks amazing but still it’s weird in my head, I’m quite sure that here in Belgium we don’t have lettuces these time of year… we do have chicory or endives but I suppose those are too bitter in this… if you’d like to eat it with meat or fish what would you suggest? I know Turkey is traditional at Thanksgiving but I’m not American so I wondered if there are other options that would work 😍
