I like coco. I only see similarity with both there movements. But coco really needs to add a lot more power on both her fh and bh. Serve, movement, net play is great :)

It really is quite extraordinary how opponents will give their absolute everything (and then some) to beat one of the Williams sisters ... I've been watching Venus and Serena their entire careers and I've seen it again and again and again. Even relatively unknown players will play the best tennis of their career when playing against a Williams ... See, for example, this match and again Venus vs Coco Gauff, Wimbledon 2019; Serena vs Heather Watson, Wimbledon 2015; Serena vs Christina McHale, Wimbledon 2016; Serena vs Catherine McNally, US Open 2019. Serena has often remarked on how opponents seem to play the tennis of the lives when playing against her. It is no boast.
Venus doesnt get it. She tried to play power game again and again. It just wouldnt work bcoz the girls are so much faster now. She ñeeds to bring her Tactical A game. We all know she is brilliant tactician añd she had proven it. Someone should tell her to used tactical play

i saw this match in Margaret Court Arena and venus didn’t play bad just too many errors. if venus didn’t hit so many errors she would’ve won. Coco looks as if she could be, and is young enough to actually be Venus Williams' daughter, but she is better at 15 than Venus was at that age and that is how it should be: the progeny should exceed the progenitor. Coco is a product of the Williams Sisters' influence. There are a few more on the court now with many more to come in future generations, thanks to Richard Williams.

Venus honestly played pretty well, but she made way too many errors that her improvements meant less.
