If we could Travel in time and go back to 1980 1990 2000 ,and Bring a scatpack ,Every gearhead would have to have it.Nowadays in the Hellcat Era lol, alot of people dont realize How impressive a NA 392 car really is.
I totally agree. I remember when I was in high school, fox body mustangs were the hot car to have, and they were 225HP stock....that was engine, not at the wheels.
I think the content is mostly Hellcat so we all want it. I got a scatpack, because the overall cost to own the hellcat was a bit too much for me. Plus I don't need the 707, but I want it. Just not enough to put me in a financial bind. Plus I got small kids. I don't even floor my scatpack so I wouldn't do it in a hellcat. Its just when you see so many hellcats on YT or social media, they're great.
I’m just here with my RT trying to keep up with these 392s😅🤣
@@davidhubbard7573 what’s your best 1/4 time with the 3.92 & 6spd. I know there been few auto 5.7 guys well into the 12’s stock but haven’t really seen many 6spd times. I’ve run 12.21 bonestock on stock all season Goodyear’s on my 16 scat challenger A8. I usually 60ft 1.8’s and 1.9’s unless track prep is bad or it’s really cold out. I know its a lot more challenging to race a manual. I have a bit of a handicap myself as a paraplegic, I race with a twist throttle hand control.
You have given me more information on what to do to my 2017 Daytona 392 than any other the other you tubers combined. Very informative and I thank you for making these awesome videos
coming from a 5.7 and purchasing a 6.4 this past august i tell ya it's night and day and i'm so glad the 6.4 appeased my appetite enough to not have a desire for wanting a hellcat for daily driving, the 6.4 is the sweet spot in my opinion... most of these guys getting into these performance vehicles aren’t even real muscle car heads.. they tend to be one uppers....btw thanks for the great content..i can listen to you and B.Mason all day...lol
Antwon Harris yesss the 6.4 is so much more fun driving in town rather than a hellcat with all that limited power and paying extra premium for insurance!!!
My first Challenger was a 5.7 with a manual transmission and it was a fun car to drive, but when I got my 6.4L Scat it was like night and day difference! The 6.4L is all jumpy torque down low and definitely feels like an old school muscle car. The only reason I went to a Hellcat was not because I needed more power, it was just that I wanted a Hellcat.
markurbancowboy I can respect that, because if I ever go for a hellcat it would be that exact reason and not because I want the fastest car👍🏾
I chose to put a magnuson on my 392 it was 7150 for the kit and I added some extra doo dads like the gauge pod
and Autometer Procomp Boost and AFR gauges. I'm not making HC numbers, I am running a safe 6lbs of boost
and I did the install myself. 6lbs on a 392 is good for 540 at the wheels give or take a few ponies.
My goal wasn't going after HC's. My car is paid for and I love it I love the color which hasn't ever been offered but
one time. So for me to get a hundred plus horse more than stock it was totally worth it. But yes if you are going to
chase after HC numbers then you are going to essentially spend the difference in price between a Scat Pack and an
HC to do it right. You will likely also need to swap out the half shafts ($1400) the driveshaft ($900) and at some point
you may grenade the rear diff. The HC really is a bargain for what it brings to the table bone stock.
Fantastic video great breakdown!
But the Scatpack is no slouch. It's a blast to drive and a great platform to get your feet wet in the world of musclecars and drag racing. Plus super affordable. But I do agree ---- If you want Hellcat fast, buy a Hellcat.
Crr Coal .. I agree .. that’s why I got my wife one to work on her drag racing skills 👍
Fr the scat is a great car for just a nice sounding, great power muscle car! Mines a 2017 w the big brake package which is dope but it’s a work car and it’s got almost 200k miles on it now and it still pulls great. Kept it very well maintained and regularly had fluids changed but never needed to mess with anything major! It gets way better gas mileage than a cat in any situation too, since mine gets mostly highway use I can see a regular 22-25 mpg depending on what the cruise is at. Gonna rebuild it soon w my uncles and fully redo the motor w everything forged and and probably throw a blower on it too just for fun 😂😂
Great video thank you, I am in the deciding phase of which motor to buy and you just solved it. One big thing is you pay more for the Hellcat but you keep your factory warranty and that huge.
Perfect point! I bought a scatpack charger because I wanted to have a little fun. Now that I’m use to the power I want to have hellcat fun 😂 but I think I’m perfectly fine with a scatpack.
I’m sure at this point in your life as a human, hopefully you’ve realized that’s apart of being human lol. MOST people are never happy/satisfied with what they have. Once we get what we’ve always wanted we sooner or later want more. You have to cut that off sometimes and look at what you have in your life compared to others. Meaning, if you have a way to work, a roof over your head and your not about to die from starvation or dehydration… I’d say you’re doing really well 🙏
first time watching one of youre videos. perfect delivery of information. thank you
Good video as always bro. I'am officially a part of the "Brotherhood of Muscle". Just yesterday i got a 2020 charger scatpack widebody! The car is amazing and im truly impressed with everything about it. This is my first dodge and i truly feel i made the right choice. I wanted a hellcat but it just wasn't in the books for me.
Really enjoy your videos. You seem to always post things that everyone is thinking about.
Bottom Line: You want Hellcat fast...buy a Hellcat!!
@@4shaken_ I sold my 392 Shaker to get a Hellcat. Yes I miss the shaker, the sound of the blower and the hard acceleration make up for the lack of a shaker. But I still wish I had a shaker
That was an eye opener, very informative videos also. Keep up the good work
Man you already smash things on the road and you look great doing it. I say take it for what it is and just worry about making it look like your own and no need to worry about making it that much faster. Lol I don’t have one but my dream car is a 2015 scat pack challenger.
I know this video is almost 2 years old however it’s not completely up to date any longer. A liquid cooled supercharger, long tube headers, upgraded fuel pump, tune and e85 will net you more rwhp to the tune of 740 hp +/- on the 6.4 with all stock internals and stock transmission than a hellcat. The total price to do all that is alot cheaper than buying the hellcat stock.
Always like and appreciate your videos, I went from a 71 Roadrunner to a 2018 Daytona the technology is all new to me I did hear a lot of people, everybody’s different say a 6.4 I could handle 5 to 6 pounds of boost without doing anything else I’m not looking to compete with a hellcat but I would like to get close to 600 hp like everybody says if you want to go as fast is a hellcat by a hellcat I just wanna get out of the 485 and get close to 600 yes I do have a lot of fun with my octane red pearcoat Daytona
Tom Daytona .. nice .. yes rock that Daytona and you can definitely add some power to make it more fun
So you're saying there's a chance 🤣
728 Autos no he’s saying there’s no chance it will be any cheaper if anything it will be more expensive but whatever gives you hope
I love vids like this. I’m planning on building my RT to become a hellcat killer. First step I’m taking is stroking it to a 392, doing that right now
after driving a scatpack, i absolutely LOVE them! scatpacks are very popular where i live. we love them here lol
always great content we appreciate the fact that you post consistently also
Really interesting video. Enjoyed watching this one as I did the rest of them. 🔥🔥💯✊🏾
Thanks for making this video! Myself and others have been trying to educate the community about this very topic. Some people are visual learners and now we have a nice resource, for our fellow "Future Mopar Brand Ambassadors". Well done RacerX!
Horde Relations .. absolutely my friend. I will continue to be an ambassador for Mopar as well .. no worries!
Another great video by Racer X thank you bro. I'm happy with my scatpack I used to have SRT8 first generation but I just got a Scat Pack last year so I've had it about a year now and I agree with you I enjoy it for what it is but now I think in the next 2 years I will get a Wire by the Scat Pack just don't see the need to get a Hellcat just for me
Arlando AMB67 .. for sure buddy. The Scat is a blast to drive and not everyone needs hellcat power 👍
I did the math last year and traded my scatpack for a Hellcat and ran a 10.8 with just a tire couldn’t be more pleased. Also let’s not forget that the modded scatpack has no warranty and the Hellcat does
@@ddufrane050987 exactly it will cost alot more at the dealer but, warranty is in tact.
My Mazda 3 2.5L comes w a turbo and the transmission is the same as the other Mazda 3s. In other words don’t add up the numbers before you assume you need equal Oem “value” to a hellcat. (After all just because a new car has a warranty doesn’t mean used cars don’t right?-the manufacturer specs are geared for this and The dealership markup is nearly 20-30k between an srt and a hellcat, interestingly)….Ironic this video is 2 years old and just now you’ve started making videos about the upcharge in dealerships? Lol. It’s not that big of a deal. Forged pistons, brazed blades on a torque converter, larger sway bars, and a slightly beefier hp90 transmission that actually slips more doesn’t mean you can’t boost a 6.4 reliably at about 7-8psi. Clearly procharger doesn’t mind - they’ve got a stock Jeep srt in red w a blower being installed in a video on their website 😅.
@@ryanc2927 Dont forget about the ringlands at the top of the pistons. It's not a good idea to boost a 392 ..
Good video! Like to see a video of how you prep the skat for the dragstrip! Awesome videos like usual! Keep them coming...🏁💯💰👍
Good commentary on chasing the numbers game. Reliably. Many owners either don’t know the risk of adding a blower to blowing up pistons, and why that happens. Or they do it anyway. 5.7’s and 6.1’s are better at tolerating boost than scats. Scats are great cars. Almost traded my 5.7 in 4 years ago for one. Decided to send my kid to private school instead. And modded my 5.7 🙂 too.
Oh yeah man i agree and infact you were a bit easy about it many other points have to be beefed up like drive shaft and suspention making it more expencive than that when the total package comes in the hellcat ready to rock. Good video as always man!
Thank you Josh.. Yes I tried to keep this one about the power but you are definitely right. There are other parts that need to be accounted for as well.
Just what ive been trying to find....u did exactly what my question was....thanks...awesome video
That twin turbo hellion nice made 700hp on 8psi
Informative and no BS assessment video. I think the best advice is to throw a tune on it and maybe an exhaust and just enjoy it. If you want big power start off w a Hellcat. I ❤️ my Scat for what it is....👍🏻
Get that Corsa yet Mr. X ? 😝
Jason your right on with that assessment buddy! Rock that Scatpack.. enjoy it for what it is 🤜🔥🔥
Love the channel can’t wait to upgrade my Scatpack but like y’all said get a Hellcat ✌🏽
Very informative video. Keep up the good work
awesome video, I think a cam/lifters, some type of forced induction on low boost and a solid tune, would really make people happy with their 392.
I think it's a matter of money. You can get 700 or more hp from a naturally-aspirated Hemi. You just have to be prepared to spend MONEY. Breathing is a problem at high RPM, and that calls for long duration, huge ports, and giant valves, not to mention at LEAST 2" primary tube headers if you go equal-length. Weight reduction is next. How much money you got? How bad do you wanna win? Then there's tuning it all. A pile of parts without a Curt Dusterhoff or whoever is just a pile of parts.
But it can be done. For most people, the question is, "Why?"
Getting my 2018 TA Thursday and I’m pretty happy with it
I tell people in my club: "You can spend 10-20k+ and push an extra 150hp on a 6.4L, or you can trade in your Scat for a Hellcat for an extra 10-15k and get a 3 year warranty"
I have 2020 scat pack and 2018 RT your info very helpful
Picking up my Scat tomorrow hoping to enjoy it to its fullest for what it is won't be my daily my ole Ho is but for the occasional enjoyment absolutely working OT for the last 7 years I'd figure i would reward myself finally
Another great video 👌
Great advice here. Dodge developed these trims in such a way that you cant easily/cheaply “level up”. Modding is fun and theres a sense of pride in building something, but Dodge offers factory platforms for different buyers. Its one thing to build an older car or one that doesnt offer a more powerful factory option, but these newer Mopars have you covered.
this. they can't make money selling editions if every trim can be muddled up the same. there would be no point to trim and it would favor racers with deep pockets.
pretty glad to see someone with credibility ( You're a race-car Hellcat Owner as well as Scatpack Owner ). Personally I own a 11 GT500 so when I speak on Hemis people take it with a grain of salt . There's to many people out there thinking they can buy a 6.4 and eventually compete with Hellcats but fail to realize by the time that is the case , you might as well have purchased a new/pre owned hellcat WITH factory warranty still active . Should something fail take it to dodge and call it a day
Gato .. very true.. Its important to remember what your end goal is when buying a car as well 👍
Great vid! Thx for info✌
You for got. You can get a hellcat engine and transmission from a wrecking yard with low miles for about $14000 - $16000.
Just Ebay I found 7 complet engine and transmission together ready to go. Too many people are destroying these cars and going to the Salvage.
Daniel Valdez oh yeah, people are just out here running hellcats into ditches and curbs all the time.
Can i just drop a hellcat engine and transmission into my scat and call it done? Plug n’ Play? Or it doesn’t work like that?
Hey man I don’t think your every going to see this. But I’m glad you can put a supercharger in a scat pack and I seen one at a dealership for 10k where the body is in good condition but I think under the hood needs work. Appreciate the video and to know what I’m expecting
I bought a 2019 1320 last summer, raced it about 10 times with a best of 11.8. I wanted to go faster. I looked into adding a SC.....most shops were around $12k for a SC, headers, bigger fuel injectors and etc. So, I went went Hellcat shopping. I was able to trade my 1320 in on a 15 Hellcat with 10k miles on it. The deal was my 1320 plus $11,800 out the door for the Hellcat. Very happy with my decision.
Had a ball with my Scats and never thought about putting a blower on them. They are fun n/a cars as they come from the factory.
Plus when you really think about it it's kind of wild that we live in a time where you can have near as well 500hp with a warranty from a naturally aspirated pushrod engine, all while being capable of 25~ highway mpg if you're using a light touch.
I struggle to think of what more I could ask for.
My local performance shop is awesome, but very expensive. It's not just a bolt on and go, you need to change other components., like HP 70 to HP 90, etc. I'm a fan of just being satisfied with what you've got, better to trade up instead of modding IMO, or keep the 392 unmolested and pay it off, and add a Hellcat to your fleet later. My Scat on a stock tune has plenty of power for the street and the dragstrip, though I don't race. But, good content Racer X.
See this has been my issue. I get caught up in the numbers. Ive been wanting a hellcat so bad because of the numbers, but havent had a way to justify all of that money it takes to own and drive one. I think I'm going to get a scatpack and like you said, "enjoy it for what it is" and be happy. An almost 500hp car is more than enough.
a little secret.. I actually like driving my wifes scatpack more than I do my hellcat on the street.. that low end punch
With better suspension and weight reduction in a scatpack i believe would be fun to drive it,maybe not as fast a a hellcat but definitely a nice option .Mopar =💪😊
Great stuff and I agree. You might as well buy a Hellcat. I own a 6.4 and it is a dream…she’s around 520 but our next purchase is the Redeye or Trackhawk to build on that 700 plus HPs. I am leaning towards the Trackhawk💪🏾💪🏾easier to get to those Demon and Super Stock numbers
You're the reason I don't ever finish my homework hahaha
Think you for that it really helped me out
Awesome info. Thanx.
Just got 6.5 liter 395 stroker engine to put in my Durango I should be happy with that. Although with the fully forged internals I could throw boost on it with a few extra mods, but I think I’m going to keep it naturally aspirated.
If he only knew how many dreams have been crushed he would take this vid down.. Great vid btw.
Been following Jannetty Racing on FB, he's currently R&D a 2019 widebody scat running the Hellion twin turbo setup at 5lb boost achieve 645 hp with injector upgrade. It's a very interesting build series.
I have a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 6.4 whipple 2.9L supercharger, kooks long tube headers, kooks mid pipe with hi flow cats, and borla atak catback exhaust. The supercharger, headers, and mid pipe. dyno tuned for 93 octane. The tune was a conservative tune set a 7 psi and yielded 610 rwhp and 596 lbs of torque. The rear cradle bushings were replaced with Whiteline polyester bushings. The rear torsion, A arms, and sway bar end links were replaced. The front sway bar end links were replaced.
My question is do I need to drop forged drop in pistons, forged connecting rods, rod bearings, Cometic head gaskets, and ARP head bolts. If I'm just pushing 7PSI? I'm not looking at taking it to the track just to cruise around. I had supercharger on for the past 20k miles already
Great Post X .... i've been getting quotes this week for Whipple 2.9 for my 6.1 SRT8.
Daily driver not trying to get to a Hellcat 707 hps.... 4 shop estimates around 150hp on 6lbs of boost!
Price...... $9300 cheapest > $11,500 most expensive! I'm getting done sometime this year.
SRT8_ 5814 .. good luck my friend.. I’m sure that car will be an absolute blast to drive when you get done with it 👍
@@RacerX9 thanks my friend, hate to see the HellCat go but cant wait to see the new ride!
Keep up what you doing bro
You nailed it. Cost outweighs the outcome. Still with weaker axle shafts, non adjustable suspension, list goes on.....
Just bought a 2021 scatpack WB, Pitch Black, standard trans, fully loaded. It is awesome, I love shifting gears manually and watching those rpm’s rise. 6.4L scatpack sounds awesome, no need for headers. I could have bought the Hellcat, they had a white one at the dealership, but what am I going to do with a Hellcat? I don’t plan on going to a track to race, I’m not even into that. So, I have an awesome looking WB Challenger that’s satisfying in every way. Plus, I get A LOT of looks from Mustang, Camaro owners just wishing they had this beast of a car!!!
What do you think about MMX hellcat supercharger adapter for 6.4? I’m thinking about going that route but there isn’t much videos about it.
A couple of videos ago you demonstrated that the Scat Pack was a few tenths slower then the hellcat, on the street. To make up a tenth or two, how about re-reading the rearend, install drag rear suspension, and dot slicks? That's way you're close and many thousands left over to maybe swap to E85 fuel system.
Ive got a scat pack with a built motor and triple pump fuel system on e85 and i make a bout 765whp on the stock trans for over 4 years. I dont track the car but i roll race alot. Admittedly i should have gone with the hellcat but this all kinda snowballed over time but im glad i did it.
I just save big for this video. I watched it while the dealership seller printed and orginzed the paperwork for a S/P lease. I’m at the parking now about to leave. I’ll be hunting for an used Hellcat now. 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome video. After you broke it down. I looked up just buying a crate hellcat engine which is 16k. I think that's probably the cheapest way to do it. Still expensive though I'm happy with my 18 charger scat pack
Yes it's an expensive proposition adding a load of power to the 6.4. Hope your enjoying the scatpack
What part of TX u out of I'd love to see y'all race in person I have a Durango I race too with a 5.7...
Curious....would I have to change the trans in my 1320 scat?
Would you be able to run a Turbo or centrifugal supercharger with the shaker hood?
I've been wanting to see one of these 6.4s with a twin torque storm set up...I think it b interesting
You should do a vid of the best upgrades to reach the full potential and get the most out of the scat packs engine
I'm curious I'm doing a 392 swap with long tube headers and a red eye hellcat cam a Cai and a 180 thermostat do you think that cam will make a difference for now ? I'm looking to do hellion turbos in a year or so that's y I'm trying to go with the cam ? Thanks for the advice 🙏
Good info .. thank you
I liked this video after listening and learning. It seems like it's worth doing the basic modifications to a scat pack And honestly I'd be happy with it maybe do 1 of the exspencive modifications but that's about it
Well X you're 100% right I think if you're a scatpack guy a few simple bolt ons run the car hi 11 second which if you compare it to the muscle cars of the 70s it's an awesome car. By the way for sure I thought you were going to get a red eye but I got to tell you I do like the new Corvette and I wish you lots of luck with it I saw you have a few haters in the comments. But what they don't get is you subscribe to the person not the car. And you are an awesome person and an awesome drag racer. So no matter what you drive I'll be here with my lengthy comments.
OLDSCHOOL RICHIE RICH .. awesome stuff Richie! I really appreciate all your support and I know that you know both the scat and the cat so your well qualified to talk on the subject. Sorry to throw you for a loop with the Vette but that car should be a lot fun. Keep doing your thing buddy 👍
I was recently looking to trade in my 2015 5.7 charger for a cheap low-mile base Hellcat, or at least a package-endowed Scatpack, and I ended up with the Scatpack. I've had it for 5 months so far, and I love my Scatpack for what it is, straight up. I loved the Hellcat speed, the supercharger whine, but theirs a mortality factor to it.. for some people, and to any wrecked Hellcat owners, just know some cars are fast enough..it's bittersweet.
I think some people just want a HC to brag about it. Unless u live in wide open country or near a racetrack how u gonna use all that power?
You've also got the rear end to beef up. Drive shaft etc
Hey racer x great content!! If you were to order a 2023 scat pack would you get the shaker hood again or would you go with the standard one with 3 vents. Thanks alot for your feedback!😊
The problem I see if you are going the Scat Pack route and upgrading the power is if you ever decide to sell the thing, good luck in recouping even 25% of your upgrades, unless you just find the perfect buyer. Trade it for a Hellcat and at least it will hold it's value better. If you never decide to ever sell your franken-scat then I guess it doesn't matter. RacerX, I like your REALISTIC approach to things :) I have a 2012 GT500 making 700RWHP, been down the endless rabbit hole of $ to do it properly.
I love the Challenger, I've been wanting one since it came back. Right now there's a black 392 6spd at my dealership ($28k w/ 43k miles). I'd jump on it but with everything going with the virus, I might have to wait a few months.
Yea, making a large purchase right now wouldn't be the best thing you could do. BUT, the key will be to buy just before things start to return to 'normal'. I'm pretty sure dealerships will be doing some "deep" discounting soon.......
@@ct87gn25 Ford and dodge near me are already doing deals, I picked up a 2020 scatpack last week.. Could've gotten a hellcat for what I payed ;(
Only thing that got overlooked on this video is the new hellion twin turbo bolt on kit for the 6.4. It gets you in hellcat range or better for about 8-10 grand parts and labor
E H agree, if I were to consider boost for my scat, this would be the best way for me..
EH I agree that Hellion makes a great TT kit. I think you are still limited by the boost that the stock motor and trans will hold but certainly an option.
I run on the street and have a little over 5 to the wheels...Haven't been beat by a Hellcat yet... Consistent 3.5 0-60 and 7.4 8ths on the street..
17s, headers, cam , TB and demon springs...
I know everyone wants power through simple modification which is understandable. But Ive never seen anyone gutting their engine, putting a larger crank in the engine, putting a larger ported cylinder head, larger intake runners, basically building the engine from the inside out. I know they must sell some kind of stroker kit for a 6.4 that can handle boost. I enjoy seeing built late model muscle cars, but they’re all built in a similar fashion. What makes ones car stand out above the rest? You have x tune with x cold air intake and x super charger. Well so does the guy 4 cars over just with a different paint job.
I know it’s much more easier to go out drop the cash to buy a hellcat or any other higher performance late model car than it is building your own. I personally stick to the old school type of methods and style, build it from the inside out.
All in all that’s my 2 cents.
I truly enjoy watching your videos racerX and I’ll always be a huge fan and support of your channel, hopefully one day I cross paths with you here in DFW and finally be able to meet you!
I had a 2016 Scat Pack and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!! I then decided I wanted to go a a lot faster. I put all what I thought were the necessary mods to make it fast AND reliable......I quickly realized a Hellcat was cheaper. Hence I now own a 2019 Hellcat CHallenger. I did run 11.38 @ 121 with the Scat Pack with basic easy to do mods.
That’s a really quick time my friend. Yes the hellcat is the king of power but the Scatpack is still a true joy to drive
I just purchased a 2021 Challenger R/T SRT Scat Pack Widebody w/A8 trans and I am interested in more performance but not necessarily Hellcat power. My 2011 Challenger was making right at 500 hp at the crank.
I have the scatpack shaker as well. My question is where would you mount the supercharger. Wouldn't it have to go on top of engine which in turn would mess up the shaker look
brian heinemeier If you do a procharger I don’t believe you’d have that issue but if you do a root-type supercharger then you would have to remove shaker
I would just keep the Scat Naturally aspirated. I think that’s the beauty of it. Throw some Bolt ons and let the Beautiful sound of that N/A engine Scream. If you want more power then just go used Hellcat from the jump. I just love the feel of how you got to work for your power rather just having it given with the scat.
I’m right there with you Vincent .. the 392 sounds so good.. don’t mess with a good thing
One of my club members have a 392 daytona with twin helion turbos made 960 whp and 1080 tq 😱😱
I’m about to procharge my challenger scat with long tubes and a custom cam already installed. Everything I’m researching says with 6 pounds of boost I can stick with stock internals and be pretty much right there with the hellcat, for another 2500 I can add drop in internals and do even more boost and be able to take a hellcat. Not sure about all this transmission talk but I also have a manual so maybe it can take more of a beating than the auto.
Weight and traction are huge above 450hp. I have a stang, 414whp at the tire running 11.7. But its light and great traction. If I had 650whp, way more traction is needed with 3100lbs. I think the scatpack is way more than most people need. Just give the scatpack a 200 shot.
All you need is a nitrous kit and fuel pump. Nitrous will supply its own tune. Also need colder spark plugs. Start with a small jet and slowly add more power. You can also keep the factory warranty if removed before service.
Luv the one your with (;
What company is best to purchase simple mods for my 2020 scat?
I think we get so caught up in the numbers that we fail to realize that 485 or 500 horsepower is still a a lot of power The hardest thing to remember is once you get up there in power it all becomes about how deep is your pockets. Don’t go broke trying to be that guy.
MrAjoseph21 bald tires and 400hp can be more of a handful than 600hp and good tires
485 hp and all that weight. Could you just imagine a Scatty Lightweight? Just putting that car on a diet and it lose a 1000 pounds will get it into the 10s.
exactly!!! it's become a one up thing instead of a passion and love for muscle cars
Very true my friend ..
I was around for the first muscle car era. My first car was a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and I thought it was fast. But it was nothing compared to my 2019 Charger Scat Pack. 485 horsepower is indeed a lot of horsepower and more than I need in a street car.
