Coko ain't no joke..she do not allow folks to disrespect her. I love her. I admire all 3 women. I'm 66 and they are great. Total is also great.
It sounds crazy but as legendary as the great Charlie Wilson is, and with his amazingly unique and strong voice, even he couldn’t have done with Weak what Coko and SWV did with it. It’s one of the greatest vocal performances I’ve ever heard on a song. An absolute timeless classic that will never die. Thank you SWV and Brian Alexander Morgan!

i disagree. you can clearly hear how the song was written for charlie wilson's style. coko had to channel uncle charlie on that track. charlie wilson version would have been amazing. i really hope he releases a cover of weak someday

I have always noticed that some of Coko's runs and riffs reminds me of Charlie Wilson. They can SANG!
That's because Charlie Wilson is one of inspiring voices of the vocal styling of New Jack Swing. Charlie influenced Aaron Hall. Aaron Hall along with TeddyRiley production was the blueprint for RKelly, Jodeci, etc. New Jack Swing became Hip Hop Soul with Mary, SWV leading the charge for the women.

Heeeyyyy my girls. I was just thinking about them earlier this is weird finding this video after work today. Just wishing their reality show would return. I WILL BE PURCHASING THEIR NEW CD 'STILL" ON FEBRUARY 5TH. I know all too well about them back problems. My Lord! So as much as I would love for the show to return & see them tour I can relate/UNDERSTAND the back pain that keep Coco from the show and touring. No one would truly understand back pain unless they are experiencing them also.

I love hearing songs that artists skipped ovr for whatever reason.....Umbrella was skipped by Mary and there was one that was skipped ovr by Anita Baker that Toni Braxton made famous.
Monica Morrow Anita was pregnant 🤰, wanted a break, and suggested they give the song to the person demo’ing the record (Toni).
The Dream said in an interview that her actually write Umbrella for Britney Spears after her breakdown. I love knowing the history of songs. Im glad Mary passed. That song was made for Rihanna
