- How does one not get excited about this popular work? Initially recorded in 1974 in Milan, Italy with an orchestra of strings, organ, flute, marimba, electric bass, drums and bandoneon. Later on, Piazzolla recorded numerous versions of the piece for his electronic octet and two different arrangements for his quintet, one of which we present to you on this occasion. Without a doubt, Libertango is one of Astor Piazzolla’s most popular works, and one that immortalized and globalized his masterful music. We hope you enjoy!
