Each time - another "ohhh ..." and "ah haaa" ... a discovery of what this media can do !!!
And I join with the folks who have learned much from Angela Fehr - a big thanks to her.

There is SO much information offered here about how the paint and water work together. I have noticed that different paints move differently in the water. I'm still a beginner and knowing that my observations are correct is reassuring. Thank you!!!

I have taken many classes from Angela and she is an inspiration to lots of us in the watercolor world. Loved seeing her demo today and feel her passion for watercolor come through! Proud of this Canadian artist who has grown the craft so greatly!

I started with Angela around 2012-2013. I purchased her "Cornflowers & Lilies" painting (it's on utube), because that painting inspired me then and still does today. My, how her painting style has evolved! I mainly use Daniel Smith paints because of their unique qualities and exceptional ongoing expansion in color range. This was a great video!!!

Luv Angela's philosophy of letting the paint do what the paint wants to do...and stopping when it is " finished". This painting is gorgeous. And yes, magic is still happening.

Wonderful video! I started learning watercolor 2 months ago. After reading reviews of many different watercolor paints, I decided to go with Daniel Smith because it is highly rated and made in the USA. I have been extremely happy with my choice. Being lefthanded, I was looking for a lefthanded artist on you tube so that I can see how they hold their brush and move it around. That is how I found Angela. This video was a perfect pairing!
I love Angela for her calm, soothing voice, and the maturity she shows in all her videos. I loved it when she told us that she paints the same subject over and over, loosening up more each time. I like painting from my photos, and I also have been painting the same subject over and over, trying to figure out how I really want it to look. Angela has just given me the permission I need to start loosening it up a bit. Kudos to you, Angela, for being the wonderful person you are, and for being such an inspiration to so many people.
Thank you John, for inspiring us with your weekly videos, and for bringing these wonderful artists to us whenever you can.

Thanks so much for this wonderful demo! I would agree with the comments by lots of others about Angela's generous creative spirit! I have followed her work, and learned so much from her over the past 4 years. I loved seeing this painting tutorial and look forward once again to trying out her tips! I have also been using Daniel Smith paints after watching the beautiful work Angela produces and love the variety and the ways they work with water.
