Super nice! Trying a 496 with Stinger Dual stage NOS to replace the 175 hp 350 in my 1978 Corvette. Of course add 400 turbo race prep, cage. Throw out air/heater, ps, dash now pro stock, radio, racing seat only, installed lexan windows. Guess proof at age of 66 yrs old my last every day driver at 22.5 to 1 compression aka 54 gallons of 116 octane equals $736 but will last 11 trips to Kroger!!! Old people are crazy but happy and wheelie bars go well with my handicap tag! Love that year Nova.. Awesome!
The same here , Mine is 15to1 have to buy the same fuel to ride on the street , A high Compression Motor keeps the flies away . Those Young boys Respect Us.
Really just trolling. Let's see what you got....ha ha ha. Dang your right it is noise beyond any solid lift I've run. Maybe good solid lift without any zinc in the oil thirty minutes later.
it needs 3 inch but design dont matter. theres not a lot of HP difference between them. multiple tests have been done on that. primary and exhaust size is way more important
Lmao!! Also the spark plugs look like it’s burning a lil rich other than that and the timing being too advanced and it needing bigger twice pipes and also different rims it’s a nice ride
mark z27 , I had the same problem with long tube headers , I put stainless steel shorty's and solved it , mine is small block 327 , M21 Muncie and 12 bolt posi with 4:11
There is an advantage to the car sitting just like it does here . If and when you have to work on it alongside of the road to make minor repairs, you can slide under it to get the work done , or uncork the headers , adjust the clutch etc .
You can’t get new cars to sound like that. That’s beautiful.
That is one tough car. Beautiful. I had a 1970 Nova SS, 396, black. Sure do miss that car. Thanks for sharing.

@@curtiscamaro5926 At 66 I slower getting out of the car! I need the excess HP to be on time!! 👍🏻😇😇
Looks sooooo sharp, a black beauty.
That beautiul beast could use a 3” pipe on her . Very nice nova bro
I really like the old cars when they look like grandmas car but come alive when the gas pedal is pushed!😀
man get you some phase 1 racing flowmasters and put turn downs on it ..SOUND YOU WILL NEVER FORGET...BEAUTIFUL CAR
Love that exhaust, sounds great 👍
Never heard of a 496 I heard of a 396 must be a new motor from the sound of that motor I'd be checking the oil
It's a stroked 454 big block chevy and yes that's a lot of engine noise
Engine sounds fine. Thats a solid lifter sound.
@@WVXL64 solid or not it ruins the front sound under the hood. Sounds great in back.
They are out of adjustment. Guaranteed.
And that's hard on the cam.
That is one Bad Ass SOB....If you still have it you need to Hang on to it.....Thumbs Up.
Kirk the Nova is fine!!! I cant believe you only have a MANUAL master cylinder on it though!!!!!!!
Ima mopar guy, gotta say those Chevy engines boyyy SHEESH!!!
love the car. sounds great standing behind it. sounds bad under the hood. just metal clacking.
It sounds like they are out of adjustment. Beautiful car !!!! Someone put a lot of time in the body and paint job !
Awesome car I have a 1972 ss 383 striker.
The last real Nova to me. My first almost new car was 1970 Nova straight 6 with power glide.
That is Stunning
Simply bad ass dude!
Beautiful!
Nice ride buddy!
Beautiful Car!!
Very nice, had one similar in 1975

Nice car
😍😍😍
Big blocks needs 3 inch exhaust my Chevelle had 3 in and flowmasters and turn downs in front of rear end killer sound cool car tho
Sounds like the valve train is super noisy. Solid cam? Or worn out bbc?

Bad ass !!!!!
100 percent BAD ASS
Is that a coolant expansion tank on the passenger side of the fire wall?
bad ass!!
Put 3inch muffler high flow the engine needs to breath

if its burning to much fuel go down in jets in the carburetor buddy but otherwise it sounds killer
Fat is safe wouldn't bother leaning it out unless it's smoking or your looking for better e.t.s
I'd be putting bigger tubes on it, a jacked up 496 huffing thru
2"- 2 1/4" tailpipes ain't quite cutting it. Then I'd worry about jets
nice ride timing looks a little bit advance put some bigger twice pipes under different rims other than that a one
James Little yeah you can see the timing is off?!? Your dumb fuck...🤦♂️
Lmao!! Also the spark plugs look like it’s burning a lil rich other than that and the timing being too advanced and it needing bigger twice pipes and also different rims it’s a nice ride
What wheels are those
Big motor!! No brakes?? No way!! Lol!!
Back tires are a little dlick aren't they?
Nice car but the tail pipes need to be hidden.
What's the hp
looks great , it sets up to high , needs lowered about two inches front and back
May have to be that stance for headers to clear...it is a big block
mark z27 , I had the same problem with long tube headers , I put stainless steel shorty's and solved it , mine is small block 327 , M21 Muncie and 12 bolt posi with 4:11

where's your PCV valve?
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha 👍 😇!!!
Don’t need one
Carbs plugged and breather instead
Well we want to see it burn rubber !😨
doing the same build and would like to know what oil pan you used?
Seems like a lot of lifter noise.
could be solids
UA-cam changing things 12.5 to one....ha ha ha ha ha ha ha 😇
bad2dbone
Need bigger exhaust

I love when people post videos about cool cars when they don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground....
cliffard stackpole , it's got a fake high rise hood just so the high profile air cleaner will fit ,
走れよ!
