An intetesting good test of Higher powered air pistols. Being a specialty bullet series inventor, for Black Powder cap&ball percussion revolvers, muzzleloading pistols and rifles, and Higher Powered Air rifles and pistols, I knew that the results with the Hollow Point Bullets would be such. Two things regarding Hollow Point bullets. Hollow Point bullets are only meant for thin-skinned, thin boned game animals, like Deer. Just as you found out, in order for a Hollow Point bullet to achieve its maximum performance, it needs to be traveling at 800+ FPS. The most effective projectiles for these higher powered 457,50 and 51 caliber air pistols for use in hunting thicker skinned and boned animals such as Wild Boar and Bears would be a solid metal flat nose bullet design,such as my Kaido Ojamaa-VKJV Universal RFN Hunting bullets.
I took a dremel pin drill attachment and cut grooves inside the hollowpoint from the base to the tip. That will make them open up like a flower at these lower FPE ranges. :D
Outta curiosity, do U folks do repair? If so, where R U? Just a question - I have an AEA HP SS with a few issues. I've used your videos for some DIY stuff and appreciate them.
Why do you put the cocking mech on the same side that the most people Hold the gun??? LOL. it is such a good weapon but the design makes it very clumsy to reload
I am getting the Huben already but I am still interested in this pistol because they check totally different boxes. Huben is semi-auto but the M50SS is powerfull enough to put down a larger animal than the Huben. The M50SS is WAY bigger and less EDC-able than the Huben but you can attach a butt stock to it. Tons of other differences also...Just totally different guns as you said. @@ossierankin926

Make it a repeater as opposed to single shot, and I'm in.
If you put a mag in it, it's technically a repeating bolt action.

not very happy on expansion, also didn't say how far you were from jugs. Seems like more work needs to be done on power to really say it is any good.
