New Orleans KOA Holiday Campground | Campground Tour | New Orleans, Louisiana

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a short drive to the French Quarter and just across the street from a park overlooking the Mississippi River. The park is walkable to a Family Dollar and a few small cafes. It's close to the airport, and about a 15 mins drive downtown. Also, in non-COVID times, the park has a shuttle to the tourist areas.

I think the location is the star of this KOA. But we did enjoy our stay here (minus we were not able to do our laundry at the time).

We stayed right across from the Kamp store, next to the laundry room. We enjoyed our stay. Nothing super fancy, but it was nice. We’d be willing to stay again.

We just did a night here -- and it was a nice little park. But it's hilarious that we came to do laundry, and they had a water main break. Timing...of course.

I don’t know if you noticed or not, but the neighborhood directly behind the privacy fence is super sketchy! DEFINITELY don’t want to end up in that neighborhood after dark by accident.
