      I think his explanation on balance is easily the weakest of the 4 she described. What about it do you find more coherent?
      Even passing over his very nontrivial misreading of Romans due to translation errors that led to his idiosyncratic notion of original sin as contracted guilt in a criminal sense, Augustine has no answer for natural evils, and still begs the question of why there was the possibity of the temptation to evil at all / why Adam and Eve's natures were corruptible.
