Any statement of any gaming device being the best is always going to come down to preference. What steam deck does is it’s the cheapest for what it offers but even that changes as time passes on. I remember saying psp when it came out was the way of the future and in its day it was the best. But we are years since steam deck’s original release so it’s becoming preference. But for what it does it does better than much of it’s competitors at its price point

But the game certainly isn’t running at 3 FPS, and even if it hit three FPS it ran like garbage on every system. The newer games coming out like Starfield and dragon dogma two are certainly not a baseline to dictate how well any system performs. They are poorly optimized games and Starfield doesn’t even come off feeling finished. But your statement comes off more as preference based. Many people may not be able to afford what you can afford, and it is not a garbage system. It works well in its tier and price point for performance and quality with an actual warranty support and large community support of which many games don’t have. Plus it’s completely subjective to say the fanboys are toxic. Every single video game system out has toxic fanboys lol. Our choice is to ignore them and move on not to engage.
