I have a '76 with mostly original KY5 Yellow Blaze over white with black carpet, dash and center console - now with 108K miles, underside is mint. And yes, mine has Corinthian leather. I love cruising in mine, great car. I'd love this one!!
I always loved these cars, and here is one of the sharpest I've seen. Great colors in and out. Many desirable features too .... The 727 TorqueFlight trans and 400 motor w/4 barrel make for a great power and drive train .... and the Chrysler AirTemp ac was one of the most reliable, ice-cold ac units ever offered. This car is going to make someone a nice driver or collector. GREAT price for a 9k mile car. Here is one that will last for years. As always, many thnx for sharing!
my parents used to a 1976 it was white with red vinyl top bucket seats and floor shifter like this one also had the 400 engine , it was a great car thanks for bringing back the memories
I agree. Chrysler had a big problem with rusting, although he did mention this car got the Z BART treatment. My 79 Mark V has that treatment, and I can attest, it does work.
Basically the only Chrysler sedan I have ever liked. Such a gorgeous design. This one is perfect, I love the maroon, the chrome. I'm not a Chrysler fan but I'd drive this thing all day every day.
Bought one after finishing hs in 86 from a buddy in class moving out of state for college. White with rich red corinthian leather, 400 4 barrel. RIP Billy!
Personal Luxury we called "Cordoba with fine Corinthian leather" in those days. It's the car I never bought as I thought it was too expensive, settled for a LeBaron. I'll have to get one of these now!
Jay taking one for the team- ( come on Jay- those fog lights, wheel on door, and mud flaps are unique to the car and probably will help sell it to that “special buyer” )
Thank you for mentioning the Corinthian leather business. LOL!!! I was about to say. Oh god..another believer. LOL!!! I love the fact the 70's cars are becoming more disireable. Always loved the tone on tone interiors.
Very elegant body-style. Great color combinations. Simply interesting and rare in this shape. Awesome and fine Cruiser! ..... and of course, Corinthian leather!... that sounds perfect. Lol Thanks for showing and Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹👌👌😎
Just remember, the Chrysler 400 is a big block. It is basically a bored out 383. Just about all the parts are inter-changeable with a 383 except the pistons. The Chrysler 400 is a big block and short stroke. It is a bigger bore than a 440.

@@joshuaherpolsheimer3541 yes you can. It's an old stroker motor. 451ci w/.030 over bore. You need to turn the mains down to the 400 size. They make great power
Hi Jay. I don't recall seeing one before . For some stupid reason as soon as l saw those fog lamps "Kojak" sprang to mind ! 😂 It's an ideal way of getting into the classic car scene , and it's a terrific survivor . Why Chrysler would not fit power windows is puzzling to say the least . Is it me or has one of our most irritating film critics stopped commenting recently? Thanks Jay .

@@kimosabbe50 The ones that spent the entire decade of the Seventies poking their big noses in the car business with all these pollution and safety rules!
@@davidallen5776 Oh yes, right; I'm 64 so I remember it well. I think '74 was the very worst year for pollution control devices. Catalytic converters eliminated SOME of the bad stuff. I was surprised to see that this Cordoba didn't have a CC, as my '76 TA came with one.

Knew a guy in High School who had a '79 Brown one with T-Tops and every option. He totaled it by T-boning a police car in an intersection (his fault). Car was only 1 or 2 years old.
Yes , they started making the 400 cu in 1972 when they replaced the 383 cu in. My 1977 Cordoba crown T-top had a 400 in it until it caught fire. I replaced it with a 360 cu in.
Not a landau roof, it is a full vinyl roof -- which I really don't remember seeing or offered on Cordoba; I have a '76 almost like this one (although my seats and door panels match the exterior color) with the landau half vinyl roof, 360 V8 and wire wheel covers. Been in the family since new (I actually drove it home from the dealer). I won't call about this car until the price is closer to $15K in this condition, too many paint nicks, it will take $10K to repaint it right. That engine is out of timing also, from the sound of it; I hope that is all wrong. Nice being low mileage, but this isn't show quality. This seller is an honorable man, I just think he is being over-optimistic with the pricing.
