Having lived over 60 years in India.... I am happy to say that English has been much much more useful and beneficial to me.
If you say a country isn’t a country without a single language, then that’s proof that India was never a country. India is a union of states. This is India’s greatness.
India was a country and a entire civilization and sanskrit was its first language . Except Tamilnadu where Tamil was also learnt and taught along with sanskrit .
And hindi is most widely spoken and understanding language ...far east states like arunachal fluently use it as communication bridge .

New law" BNS" Is a hindi word which is hard to understand in non hindi states including northeast tribal region and all other central scheme named in in hindi meaning .. Governor's speech is not an union Government's business. So one can not force or suggest Hindi.
Hindi is not our national language and hence it should not get the undue priority over other rich languages of our country. The Central Government behaves as if they have no responsibility for other languages they are only concerned about Hindi. This brazen partiality should end irrespective of whatever is written in the Constitution.
Hindi is the de facto National Language of India whether you like it or not.

Why govt not promoting Hindi in govt examinations then
Once our Netaji from Bengal supported the implementation of Hindi as our national language. After the independence, we had the opportunity to implement one Hindustani language as our National language which can accommodate the aspirations and ambitions of millions of indians.
But instead of that, because of such leaders like him, we embrace a colonial language over Hindustani. This prevalence of colonial language is the sole reason behind the still-prevailing sense of colonialism among various sections of Indian society.
They care about constitution when it serves their purpose where was the speaker when abrogation of article 370 happened.

Jagdeep Dhankhar would rank very high as one of the most incompetent 'speakers' of our nation. A great party member & law-maker no doubt, but a very bad 'Speaker'. He has competition to reach the top of that list, but he tries very hard everyday to reach the very top.
It is very clear that he willing ignores 'his' responsibilities to the Nation as under the Constitution and to the Union called Bharat. And, instead is solely duty bound to his Masters rather than the Nation.

Let the states be separated as federal states. India is not alone Hindu or Hindi, North. Hindi is not the language of anyone in the country but alien language.
