I heard of Buxton about 40 years ago when I first visited Canada from Barbados, my aunt came from that area. Hope to visit it again soon, this year of 2023.

There is a lot in common with this Buxton and the one that is only 18 miles from Stockport. They have High Edge Raceway, Stockcar racing, the Mills in your Buxton are not unsimilar to the mills once in a place called Disley, my Great, Great Grandfather owned. Seems we have a lot in common, just wanted to share this fact. ❤
