Watching you drive is educational, Ive wasted years watching the usual YT sim racers and learnt barely anything, its just poetic the way you caress a car round each corner!
Isn't that how everyone drives. I'm not saying OP is bad or anything but he's just taking the usual lines around a virtual track. The real tracks have slightly different lines but for the games purpose they give you the smoothest route around the track not the fastest.
@@edwardgisby6937 I'm just speaking as I find, I've been watching sim racers online for years and I've never seen anyone enter corners so fast yet manage to keep such a tight line or skirt around another car millimetre perfect like this guy. We all know the racing line to take but its how you smooth out those lines I find extremely impressive. I would like to think I'm a pretty competant racer, but for me this guy is a whole new level compared to what Ive seen before!
You drive so smoothly. It's hard for me to believe that you're playing on controller. I'm having issues with push when under throttle when exiting a turn. I haven't gone in the tuning menu yet, but I've heard that there are some weird default setups. Great video!
I find the only camera view that conveys any sense of speed is the bonnet cam, it is limiting for view and you have to keep checking your sides but feels faster.
The best D class is the ‘90 Miata so far but I’d suggest using whatever car you like! As long as you’re enjoying the car and having fun. The less Miata’s the better haha.

Tuning can help, I’d suggest downloading some tunes and see how you like them!
I haven't tuned my cars yet and I'm still 4 to 5s faster than the ai.
