From a step-cousin in TN. Air is one of my favorite bands. Your videos are going to become my new "Saturday morning having my coffee just chilling" atmosphere while I try to wake up ;-)
Right on, Air fits these videos perfect. Ya know ... I just gained like 50 new cousins and step cousins, lol! Which one are you? Thank you for your kind words, I still do the same thing, coffee and scuba vid's. Great way to start the day.
Thanks, dude. Sorry for the late reply. Had so many things going on. Work, genealogy and especially music. Me and 2 of my buddies (one owns the recording studio) have recorded 3 songs. All of the studio sessions are pretty much done. John is in the process of writing a vocal score for a female backup vocalist (black gospel style) for one of the songs. Mike (owns the studio) said most backup vocalists will do a song for about 100 bucks. We (or I) could swing that. So once that is done Mike will mix and master (as he calls it) one last time, probably let us listen to what will be the finished product to make sure it is all ok with us and I think we're going to put it on Soundcloud. I'll definitely let you know what it is when we get it done. Butch was my stepdad and I'm his oldest stepson. Marion is my mom. Tonne Transport, Inc is our family business run out of her house. Butch died a little over a year ago from Parkinson's. It was sad of course but he was just laying in a hospital bed in his bedroom at the house. Mom had to feed him and take care of him. He was an invalid. I helped her with him sometimes like when she needed to move him. Butch was Dennis's brother btw. Interestingly enough I've had (and still mostly have) my own genealogy brick wall. My surname is not Chandler but at 111 markers I test positive (so does my dad) as what is called Group 7A of the Chandler DNA Project. Testing through Ancestry I got enough evidence to prove that my gg-grandfather WAS my biological gg-grandfather so the "Chandler in the woodpile" was either my ggg-grandfather or before that -- what they call the NPE (Non Paternal Event) did not occur before about 1850 to 1852 -- the time of the probable conception and birth of my gg-grandfather. Possibly conceived in either Sevier Co, TN or Marshall Co, AL and probably born in Guntersville, Marshall Co, AL. I even went to Guntersville and stayed at the Bed and Breakfast overlooking the lake and making trips to various places (court house a couple of times)) and even visited with members of the Guntersville Historical Society and got good information from them. Recently I contacted a probable Chandler cousin who lives in OK. I am helping him with his research. I even found Probate Records about his gg-grandfather on Family Search. I used to be the Deputy Chairman of the Chandler Family Association Genealogy Panel. And for three of their annual meetings I would lug about 7 file boxes full of my own personal genealogy library reference books -- primarily for Southern states. In reference to our band -- John (my best friend and my guitar instructor) plays drums, keyboards, piano, guitar and bass guitar on it. Mike plays guitar, bass guitar, flute and also did a string section on the computer on it as well as the one mixing everything. I played rhythm guitar, lead guitar and do the lead vocals. I listened to our music recently and together the three of us have a lot of different influences but we all love R&B music and that definitely shows. But if somebody told me I had to choose one band that we kind of sound like I would have to say (at least for now) Traffic. My vocals aren't as high as Winwoods but we are very keyboard/piano dominated (that's John) and my vocals are definitely very R&B on two of the songs. Other comparisons have been made by us (and other people). Comparisons to Led Zeppelin, R.E.M., Guns'n'Roses, Allman Brothers, Van Morrison even Pink Floyd for one song! I guess we basically just sound like us -- a combination of musical influences of three dudes from Murfreesboro, TN! lol Hope I didn't ramble too much. I look forward to meeting you one of these days. Hopefully the music will be out by that time and you can hear it for free on Soundcloud. Take care cousin! See ya. Barry
Love your great footage with good music to go along with. What dive site was that where there were a lot of sharks and you were able to get close to them. Also which dive operator did you use and would you recommend them? What type of camera did you use on this? Thank you in advance in answering my questions. I am planning on going to St. Croix soon. Any advice from your experience will be greatly appreciated. Love those macro shots as well. Where was that taken at the pier? Thank you for sharing.
Aloha Rene, just about all dive sites had reef sharks. I dove with S.C.U.B.A, the best on the island. Request Cory as your DM, let him know I sent ya. I use a Canon G-16, nothing fancy but it does the job.

I meant to say the NPE did not occur AFTER the time frame. Sorry about that.
