Extremely late 💀 so I think you have figured it out by now but just in case for any new player, you can only unlock the ability to exchange upgrade capsules ( the bule things) after you have added a +10 on all of them, you can add them by using the bule things, each use adds 1 level to it, once you will clear Empire of cats ch 2 you will be able to upgrade everything you have to level 20, same goes for the bule box upgrades that improves the base, money, energy etc. You will need to lvl 20 them and than use the bule things to add +1 ten times, it should be like 20+10 to start exchanging them.

There are some important things to have pointed out, first of all, rare tix farming is intended for late/endgame players, as for it to be efficient, you must have a good amount of energy (because of leaderships) being moreless 800+ energy, then, the only recommendation on FARMING is siege hippoe, as love is just stupid, and the other two (facing and cybear) are one-clear, so not farmable... So whatever, what you told were obvious things and mentioned/showed things that could be misleading (like love, metal hippoe or using the catamin tab for stages)...
Also pogo cat and battlecats quest apps give rare tickets through collab missions. 3 in pogo and 3 in battlecats quest. Total of 6 rare tickets and takes very little time to get.
Literally ponos is being so nice, it gave us more that 800 food of cat, plus rare tickets, PLUS a membrecy (I don’t Keon if was free because it was my first time using it) that give 600 food of cat.
Fun fact:in the most impossible stage,you must clear it with cheap cats! They are very strong for you,Actually true,Defeat it and you will see after the stage...ITS A REWARD!YYou must clear EoC Ch.2 to get a very cheap unit!

As a starter go through chapter 1 of EOC to get 10 rare tickets just by clearing certain stages.
Remember that other games by ponos like Go go pogo cat and battle cats quest give rare tickets, around 6 total I believe
Also pogo cat and battlecats quest apps give rare tickets through collab missions. 3 in pogo and 3 in battlecats quest. Total of 6 rare tickets and takes very little time to get.
But it's a 1-time thing...
Still very worth it, though.
