I love how Dr. Bell plays along with Monk's delusion of him being on the sub with him because he knew it would mess with his psyche. And to think, Monk didn't even want to give him a chance after losing Kroger
I’ve really tried to enjoy watching Monk and get into the show, but I just can’t. It’s not for me I guess. No hate at all towards people who love it, I just find the overall vibe and the humor as a bit off and just strange to me.
I get exactly what you mean. The actual mystery and intrigue is on point, but for me the humor can be massively grating. Sometimes Monk can get on my nerves, and a character like Randy is almost never funny to me. I love the crime solving aspect of the show, but the humor (which is almost like 1/3 of the show) takes a massive chunk of enjoyment out of it for me.
They are there because Natalie’s friend wants monk to investigate a crime that he thinks has been committed. From what I remember the case has already been considered a suicide by everyone but Natalie’s friend and monk believe otherwise.

I love that the people hating on this have probably never watched the show
the outlandishness of the set aside, the final reaction of the Captain is rather becoming of a naval officer.
I haven't watched the show but damn ya'll be hating this huh 😂😂
The navy emergency surfaces one sub once and Hollywood has it as b-roll for years and years and years
This has got to be the least realistic portrayal of a submarine ever put on film.
The very beginning of the clip already had me facepalming. Looks like they borrowed the set from Voyage To The Bottom of The Sea

@@Profile__1 what shows do you like to watch though? Thar might she'd light
A lot of people don't watch long enough to understand that Monk has OCD and phobias. They can't get past why he's acting so odd and tune out.
This makes no sense why would monk be on a navy sub for the case NCIS should be on the case since it’s a navy sub and ncis deals with the navy

So why though
