That’s why when you say that something that has been repaired well doesn’t ruin the esthetic but does lower the value, it is perfectly fine especially for your own collection. I fell in love with a flow blue pitcher that I found at a consign it store here in Italy for 14 euro with a chip that you can hardly see. It’s a beautiful piece that is perfect with my blue and white themed home. I have no intention of selling it but enjoy admiring it every day. You are so wise and I admire you as a thrifter, business woman and single mom. Love your videos!
Dani, I absolutely love how you do your shopping videos… Better than anyone else I’ve seen on UA-cam. You do such a good job of scanning each shelf, pointing out the merchandise, and explaining your thought processes. I wouldn’t change a thing about your videos. You’re doing great! Please ignore the mean and ignorant comments on here. I have learned so much from you, and really appreciate your channel.❤
10:35 there’s always an abundance of clear glass at our thrift stores 17:08 cedar boxes are so nice. For anyone who doesn’t know - cedar chests are used to store blankets & clothes because the cedar keeps MOTHS out!
Ah Bougie!!!❤ So glad you got the cranberry glass dishes. Love them! Great haul again! At the end Bougie was shaking his head like "Yes!!" And love his dancing.❤
I can't figure out why some people can't figure out that it's no different if a thrift store sells a dollar store item for more than the dollar tree sold it for, and resellers also would sell a dollar tree item for more than what the dollar tree sold it for. Same as how we sell lots of things for more than what they were originally sold for. Target Holiday birds as one example.
Actually it's very different. Thrift stores are about turning inventory as quickly as possible and generating as much as possible towards their mission. If they overprice items, they have a big chance of ending up at the clearance bins or in the landfill. Resellers are cleaning, photoing, storing and hopefully selling and shipping items at a great cost of time and space and often hold onto things for years before they sell, a much much different business model. That being said I don't deny Goodwill the ability to make as much as possible, but when they overprice these things it is not going to get them sold and thus fulfill their mission! People won't pay more than the retail tag price at thrift stores.
Hi. Always interesting to see what you find and then what you choose to pick up. I think there was an Emma Bridgwater (UK) city mug on the bottom shelf, 3rd from the right at 30:04. She makes a line of city mugs that can sell for good money, depending on the city depicted. All her ceramics are collectible and sell for decent money, especially those that are discontinued.
Those big silver shallow "plate "looking things I think are called chargers ...they go under the plate for decoration. You looked at a red one a few videos back. 🤗
3 things. First. Thanks for your time and video. Second. Selling art or othr flat larger pieces. I ve had sucess with tv shipping boxes from home depot or lowes. They telescope larger or smaller . Third. At lunch w my 9 yr old grandson. I said when i get home i have to ship a photo album. Weston says. " whats a photo album? " its already defunct to the youngsters!!😊
Hello Dani! Enjoyed your thrifting adventure! The super tall vases are pretty! So happy you grabed them for yourself. Interesting to know Alf is popular. Your clothes buying buisness sounds good. Enjoyed seeing Bougie! DaRn it, Bougie be nice. Bougie your so handsome and so pretty to not be nice. Love the way Bougie says, "Rachel!" Dancing Bougie. Cute. 🐦
Really enjoyed this episode. It was really good to see Bougie again. I was just telling my daughter that we hadn’t seen him in a long time. And, if you forget to call out a letter, we do it for you. Look forward to each video. Keep em coming.
Danni, this was so much fun. I enjoyed our time together. We must do it more often. I'm quite impressed with how you were able to drown out the music and speaker noise. That store was screaming at us from the moment we walked in, it was so loud. 💞💞
That bird is just too stinking cute. Watched your live sale today for the first time. It was fun. Eventually I'll buy something. Getting use to how it works for now. But, dang, you sell things cheap.
Had that happen at our GW. WM soap dish that retailed for $1.49 and GW $1.99. With the right tools you could make wind chimes with the shells. I grew up at the beach in O.C. and I had a friend that used to make them. He sold them to the tourists and made a little money.
There was a really cute vintage purse right after where you stopped looking. I was like , Please see it!! I hope your friend found it to sell with the vintage clothes!! 🤞
I buy shells like that, paint/gild the backs, decoupage the insides, and cut out a word or phrase and glue inside. They make really cute little tokens/mini gifts. I can usually get bag of 15-20 for $3 at Goodwill here in Chicago, but I did see them marked for twice that at some Goodwills in Madison, WI recently.
Yes the plaque about if at first you don't succeed is a 1967 as my brother was given one at the end of his second grade since he passed the second time through.
Wow you found so many cute items. I am a huge ER fan. I have ten seasons on DVD. I watched all the seasons but loved the first ten the most. Noah Wylie. Or Dr. Carter is supposed to have a new show starting soon . He will be a doctor again and with one of the directors of ER. 😊
When I sell larger art, I have used TV moving boxes available at the larger big DIY retailers .. idk if I am allowed to me nation the names but they both carry tools and home repair items.
Hi Dani! The little golf club shaped glass pieces you found in color and iridescent are just glass propogation vases. However listed on ebay a pair, one colored one clear $24. 😮
Hey Danni. Actually those chalk paper rolls are very cool and hard to find at times. Its usually contact paper. Not sure what that one was but if it was cheap enough i would have bought it. Great for lining shelves and parties etc. Someone would definitely bought that from your shop!! Take care Danni.
Enjoyed the shopping. Glad you got the large blue vases for yourself. The glass trinkets may be for golfers. They could sit on a coffee table or man's office. They look like the bottom of a wood golf club. Golfers use wood, iron's and putter clubs.
Shells, I love them to put around the foundation of my house. I mulch my flower beds but not up to the foundation because you can bring bugs into your house. Termites, ants and lots of nasty insects. The shells or marble rocks make a barrier to keep them out.
I really like the art pottery as well as art glass. The plates from a restaurant were likely charger plates with a food plate on them. Think fancy restaurant My take on the glass ware would be anything that’s washed and clean would stand out
Hi again! I know some boxes that might be useful to you to ship art. Teachers make "anchor charts" of big lined paper around the classroom. The boxes where those come in are about 3" x 2" or so. You might want to visit a local elementary school, and see if they may keep them for you. Only thing is they are about 3" wide.
Lol. The old lamp that needed shade, I have a shade but the lamp part was broken. Going to put free on at a yard sale for parts and figured I would sell shade for $3 if someone needed one and if it doesn't sell, I will donate it.
Dani if there isn't any market to sell your shells, then you should think about using the shells to trade to someone who raises chickens. They would break them up to feed to the chickens to strengthen their egg shells. Calcium
OMG Danni yes I hate the interns now and that whole direction its taken on Greys. yes they cant imitate the connections with the original cast. so with you. and yes I was with you on watching every episode of ER!! I love watching the reruns on rainy days.
The local Goodwills here don't have senior day and the prices are crazy high. Not worth going to anymore IMO. But i enjoy watching and tagging along with you.
Hi Danni. We will be in Las Vegas in 10 days What are the best Thrift shops to go to there. This Goodwill looks great! I also want to check out the Boutique store. I have something I would like for you to take a look at, I have no idea what it is or what it’s worth. Can I send you a few pictures? Thank you so much!
The ones in the Southwest area are pretty good! Really any of them I would just stay away from North Vegas I have a Facebook group for that ;-) Niche to Profit for Online Sellers
Danni If it's not the speaker overhead it's someone testing a vacuum cleaner..ya gotta laugh 😂 Bougie was full of beans today! Thanks for making it fun ❤

Ignore the haters, they are not in the same league as you are!
The "I WILL SURVIVE" flowerpot cracked me up!
Your little Monk Parakeet has a lot of personality! He is wonderful. 🐦
10:35 there’s always an abundance of clear glass at our thrift stores 17:08 cedar boxes are so nice. For anyone who doesn’t know - cedar chests are used to store blankets & clothes because the cedar keeps MOTHS out!
Careful can stain textiles if not in a safe proof bin then into the chest known fact.
Keep Rocking the good stuff Beautiful people 🤗
I love your little bird 🐦 ♥️ 💕 😂 he has such character 😂
I so look forward to your videos.
I think that blue box had ornaments in it
Ah Bougie!!!❤ So glad you got the cranberry glass dishes. Love them! Great haul again! At the end Bougie was shaking his head like "Yes!!" And love his dancing.❤
The bottom to the butter dish was right next to it but it had a green vase on top of it.
Oh, I missed that too!
I went back and looked and I don’t think it was the bottom. The color didn’t match and it was a funny shape.
Danni, you and bougie are so much fun💙🐦💙🐦💙
Nice to see Boojie again. I really liked the painted metal pitcher.
“the Golden Girls”….one of the very best….the reruns are fantastic…they can hook you!
Blanche u human mattress says Sofia I can't help it I'm upset
What a great day for thrifting Danni!!

Reading this gave me a migraine

@@annieh2900 yeah I type like I think 🤓
❤Love the shopping trip❤
❤Great Finds❤
❤Loving seeing Bougie ❤Love it❤❤❤❤❤
The bottom of the butter dish was green next to the shakers picked up? I could be wrong❤
I think the green tray was the bottom of that pretty floral butter dish too!
The green tray was directly beside the Fitz and Floyd salt and pepper.
Darn it!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!

The glass thing was a hummingbird feeder minus the stopper with the drinking tube.
I know because I have one just like the first one you saw.

I’m looking for a giant metal C like on the shelf at 19:34. If you picked that up I would purchase it.
I loved seeing Bougie! Good video-cool to see you trying with a listing company too.
Grape vase top was turned , leaf to cover spout was by handle.
My absolute favorite artist
VAN GOUGH and starry night no less!!!!!
These square plates would be cool chargers on a table setting.
Really enjoyed this episode. It was really good to see Bougie again. I was just telling my daughter that we hadn’t seen him in a long time. And, if you forget to call out a letter, we do it for you. Look forward to each video. Keep em coming.

It's the camera and special mode that only uses the front mic, it's why I talk a lot LOL!
24:30 that seal color on the canisters is from the 90's. it's the Hunter Green.
That bird is just too stinking cute. Watched your live sale today for the first time. It was fun. Eventually I'll buy something. Getting use to how it works for now. But, dang, you sell things cheap.
I like to have something for everyone!
Loved your video Dani. 😊the owl lamp is great. And great comps on some pieces. 😊
Great finds , I love your bird he's so cute what a ham
Those yellow & orange glass plates 32:15 were SO FUN! I LOVE THEM! 💛🧡💛
That Love sign, would make a pretty wedding decor. 🥂🍾
Oh yes! I didn’t even think about that-the wedding.
Had that happen at our GW. WM soap dish that retailed for $1.49 and GW $1.99.

Thank you for the fun video!👍🐦
I screenshot the small bottles and it says it maybe a Rudolf Jelinek bottles for distilled spirits, hoped that helps
I love finding Jonathan Adler! Such a cute lamp!
When I sell larger art, I have used TV moving boxes available at the larger big DIY retailers .. idk if I am allowed to me nation the names but they both carry tools and home repair items.

I really want the food processor that was on the shelf where you found the Van Gough poster. I’ve been looking for one at Goodwill for a while.
Love going along with you to Goodwill, you always find GREAT THINGS!!!!❤❤❤
Boose is adorable 😍 💖 California
Faberge presentation box seems to be for eggs- at least one listed for $100.- I did not check solds
I think the frosted glass jar with the lid, might be an old Avon scented candle holder. My mom had some that looked like that.
I really like the art pottery as well as art glass. The plates from a restaurant were likely charger plates with a food plate on them. Think fancy restaurant
My take on the glass ware would be anything that’s washed and clean would stand out
Ahhhh that makes sense!
Really enjoyed the video and i liked the fan vase was good to see bougie x you take care love Margaret UK 🇬🇧
Dani, I bought the MONK tv complete series, and also COLUMBO ! They are so entertaining ! I watch them over and over !
Hi Dani that frosted candle jar is avon the top can be used as a pedestal
I sooooo love your bird!❤

Hi Danni, another great video. I can't believe that I saw you on somebody else's channel recently, What the Hales. 😂😂😂
That owl at. 6:53 though. ❤❤❤❤
The basket you don't like would look great with some Spanish moss and eggs.
Hi Dani, Loved this video! Those two cranberry glass plates look like they might be Fire and Light. Are they?
No they were actually flashed I found out!
Love 💕 the pink plates! Are they pioneer woman?
Dani if there isn't any market to sell your shells, then you should think about using the shells to trade to someone who raises chickens. They would break them up to feed to the chickens to strengthen their egg shells. Calcium
You could or trade shells for eggs.
Can’t they be thrown into the soil around the house too? Instead of the trash?
Omg, that nlue polyester dress ! My mother had that dress in gold, with a dark orange stripe ! Lolol
Hi. That Santa was Midwest of Cannonfalls. Could have been a nice penny 😊
I love Alf! Not much for comedy but Alf made me laugh out loud.
OMG Danni yes I hate the interns now and that whole direction its taken on Greys. yes they cant imitate the connections with the original cast. so with you. and yes I was with you on watching every episode of ER!! I love watching the reruns on rainy days.

Our thrift stores in Georgia have gone through the roof.
Great finds Dani, we watch Chicago Med & The Good Doctor. But sadly it's ending this season. I watched Grey's anatomy the first year then stopped. 😀🇨🇦

Get the faberge
I like the vases
Your bird…. Pure terror for me LOL
You picked some great pieces of clothing.😃
Hi Danny how do you touch up chips? I have one item that need to be touched up and have no idea how.
A little paint of the same color, or sometimes even a sharpie
@@brendaalexander734 thanks so much!!!!
@@TheNICHELady I have used sharpie before, especially when the item is black, but this is a lilac color, maybe nail polish! Thanks!
At 95.5 there was small glass topped jars on shelf may have went with the box.
Good haul at goodwill today.
love this
Are those plates you bought Fire and Light?
Nope
