I just listened on studio headphones and still can't really tell if it's real or fake. It might be fake but programmed really well or actually played aggressively with a pick. in my opinion, Emmure did a GREAT job on this album - they managed to write very brutal stuff which is really entertaining at the same time, with the use of pretty minimal structure choices - balance here is GOLD. very few have this "feel"

I love this, I was really into limp bizkit and korn when I was younger. Then I heard some local metal bands and got into death metal and all the cores and said Fred durst was wack for many years. But now I'm loving all of it. Emmure has always been a great band, reel feeling to it that's relatable and therapeutic for people with a range of strong emotions. Glad this mashup happened. Good stuff.

I'm glad a little more of Josh Travis' signature style is coming through here, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't more present on the last album. He's my favorite guitarist, his style of playing is fucking sick

This is the album that IS missing Josh Travis' style in favor of being the millionth band to "bring back the nu". Look at Yourself had a lot more of Travis' writing style although quite stifled also. Look at Yourself and slave to the game are the only emmure albums that had a start to finish listen with no cringe anywhere
