Bedrock Bottom author here. Hive Worker is ideal. Stealth bonus, dex bonus, can eat foul meat, immune to acid (for Black Desert looting). Leave stealth on, you're not slower. The north-most armory in the Black Desert is undefended, but you need to be able to bash the door down. Ideal spot to go after getting basic limbs / weapon first. I strongly recommend changing the in-game settings for any experienced player on any playthrough: Hunger time .25 (4x more food required) makes maintaining a squad a lot more costly and being far from civilization a risky decision Chance of death 4 is mostly a nuisance eliminator. No more will you need to babysit assholes for days to finally kill them when they get back up. But it works both ways - This is NOT the global damage multiplier! This is cut damage degradation. KO, cut, and untreated = VERY likely to die, you and enemies. Even limb loss can kill from bleeds Global damage mod 1 because otherwise crossbows are the only viable strategy (since their mitigation is flat rather than %) Prod, Res, Bld .5 slows down everything base-building and some econ. Helps against some exploits (looking at you, bandanas) Nests x4 depends on the run. It can get a bit ridiculous at times but mostly it's about making travel dangerous and trade routes an effort to clean up Overall it makes independence way harder to get started economically and logistically. Combat isn't "harder" so much as failure being more punishing Mods I strongly recommend: any x3 combat slot mod (I think I run Numeric Superiority) any squad cap mod Vanilla awful combat remover. You know how martials arts stops using the basic punch when better is available? This does that for weapons More Combat Animation adds new attacks unique to each weapon class unlocked with weapon skill. Now your legendary warriors will actually move differently No Light Stumble makes armor more useful and fixes some dmg-related bugs training equipment mods, especially strength. Just removes tedium. By the time you have a base and can research / build this you could also set up pointless walking orders any better backpack mod (I run Sparkledog) Scavenging is VERY slow but makes a ton of sense given the environmental design of trashed buildings and mechanical wrecks everywhere. Can craft books as well Scarier Spiders adds a super dangerous corpse-eating metal monster to appropriate places that were too easy Guards Give a Shit makes them heal and rescue (to bed) their allies, like barkeepers Guardpost is a wonderful quality of life and great immersion... but it completely eliminates hunger to assigned guards >.> Extended Camping lets you do things like build a watchtower without making a settlement (no raids) uses normal mats Advanced Camping lets you do things like storage and basic research in the wild without making a settlement (no raids) uses a new stackable resource Craftable backpacks Bonedogs no combat limbs Better mercenaries (even though I never use them anymore) Adventurer's Guild is great lore-friendly infinite recruitment. You have a good balance of memetics, storytelling, and genuine play by play. A lot of Kenshi videos suffer from the fact that Kenshi has a lot of nothing happening in-between the something happening, and not properly culling enough nothing from the video. Kenshi is also probably one of the quietest modern games on the market, which makes editing even more important soundwise. Anyway I love this video I would be very pleased if Lean Beane became huge and was Mean Beane by the end. Keep it up good job.

I can never get over how fucked this game allows you to get. In the first 15 minutes of the video the only thing you accomplished was becoming an expert crawler and feasting on the corpses of two bonedogs, it's hysterical.

I must tell you, the best crossbow in the game for leviathan hunting is the Oldworld Bow Mk2, not the Eagle's Cross. With the Leviathan's insane healthpool AND health regeneration, DPS is king. The Oldworld Bow has a lot less damage, but significantly higher dps. In addition, Leviathans need A LOT of bolts to kill, and normal ammo is easier and cheaper to store than long bolts.

On your next play through I suggest some mods that will make the game a bit better imo. - Legendary of Kenshi (stronger enemies) - Harder locks (Obvious reasons) - Clothing and armor rebalanced (My shameless own mod that changes most armor stats. Most armours now have a decrease in stealth and assassination making it "fun". Also, start with the Rebirth Slaves for a surprise. Again, have "fun".) Hope you try it. Or not.
Badass of you to make a mod yourself bro, I wanted to make this run pure vanilla so I have like 4 mods in total that dont change any actual gameplay aspects other than maybe the combat animations, funny thing you should suggest this my friend was playing legendary of kenshi while I did this run and it looked awesome and thought of doing a run too with a similar premise to this one.

so I've been dicking around with this mod and one thing I've noticed: most robotics shops are owned by Skeletons, including the one in Mongel. Skeletons faction hates the player faction. Mongrel, as a faction, allies with anyone that the Holy Nation hates. Allies will help you fight enemies If you can get to Mongrel you get free limbs and a good spot with free beds and a robot repair bed
I have seen people do this playthrough before. It actually becomes a lot easier than you think. And I do think it's funny you can start a fire but for some reason can't put meat in the fire.
