I've been using the Pacsafe Camsafe V9 Anti-Theft Camera Sling Bag for 7 years and nothing really beats it honestly, in terms of design and accessibility.
I'm really curious how this pack operates when you "swing" it around to the front. Is it easy to access the pockets? Do water bottles flop out? I love my atom sling for this reason. I easily just swing it in front to grab whatever I need. Also are the water bottle pockets snug and secure? I could see bottles falling out if I move the pack around a lot. Debating between this and the hydro flask sling for taking along water bottles as well.
The water bottle pockets are very snug. I spin my bag around and they do not fall out. as the are elastic neoprene type material, they are tight on smaller or larger bottles.
Is this big enough and strong enough to hold a Canon DSLR Eos 7D with lens combined weight of a couple kilos? Looking for a day sling to carry around thats anti theft but also versatile and reasonably light weight and able to pack in suitcase when not is use. Im not wanting ro use my backpack everyday.
@@gotnocrabzI have a travelon backpack with wire mesh throughout its structure and ive travelled ftom Australia to Italy and it was no issue if this is of any help.
I am considering between the exact same 2 but I feel like it’s meant for very different purposes. Currently leaning towards this for day carry while traveling so I can dump my wallet phones and whatever, have it on my back, and not worry about losing it
Love that blue interior!

@@PackHacker2 The Camsafe line seems to have been discontinued. Really a shame as they seems pretty close to perfect.
I wish they made a smaller 8L version.
If I need to carry 12+ litres of stuff, I’d use a backpack and distribute the weight across 2 shoulders.
Will this accommodate an iPad 12.9 Pro in the slide in pocket or in the general inside area?
Great review! Will you be reviewing the Pacsafe Eco 18L?
Great review. Does the mesh on the back cause pilling in shirts? I’ve had bad luck with others.

@@samnectar It depends on which side you are carrying it. One side great, the other side sippers are on the zippers are on the bottom.

I was wondering the same about the fit in front when pairing it with a large backpack while travelling
Looks like a mini CHZ22. I like the pocket configuration of this sling.
Would this accommodate a canon DSLR with lens comfortably?
Can you review the 18l version please? And compare it to this one
Does pacsafe make any backpacks with rolling wheels? Thanks for sharing ❤😊
any suggestions on a waterbladder for the eco 12L?
Is it comfortable to have the sling back sitting on your chest in the front instead of on the back?

It is comfortable enough for me when combine it with Pacsafe EXP 45. As long you put this bag first and the the backpack.
What’s your opinion… does having a bag like this actually scream that you’re a tourist as opposed to a non-descript bag?

Can you say where they manufacture their backpacks?
China
Do you think a 15 inch laptop would fit in the elastic pocket inside
😂😂😂
And a 13 inch laptop?
Ipad 10 inch max.
Great review, thanks!
Thanks for watching! 😃

Nice idea.
Do you think this is a good personal item bag?
Sure!
"Chicken wire" = metal mesh. Makes it slash proof.
Great description
Will it fit 3l bladder?
will an ipad pro fit inside?
My 11 inch with Magic Keyboard fits in the bladder slot, a bit tight not not too bad. Lots of room in main compartment
Will the “chicken wire” security layer be problematic while going through airport security?
My friend has a PacSafe backpack with the chicken wire and has traveled on many flights in the US (and internationally) and hasn’t had any issues
Lots of packs have metal in them! 😃
@@PackHacker2 the way it was described I thought maybe it was an unusual feature, cool to know it’s common!
Still. Have you flown with the sling with no problems? Asking because of the chicken wire

This bag is expensive. I prefer the Travel sling from Aer

that water bottle could mess up a pickpockets head
Too Expensive!!!!! Great Review though.
Just a comment -- most of the world has no idea what a 26 or 32 water bottle is.
Most people have common sense.
Most of the world can use the internet to find a conversion chart.
Yes we do sheesh
Begun, the water wars have
Google* is a thing. I don't use Fluid Oz in the UK, I use ml, litres or pints, a quick search up converts it easily.
*Other search engines exist
Not cheap though
