The time is surely coming, say's the Lord God, when I will send a famine on the land; not a famine of bread, or a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. Amos 8. This scripture came to mind whether applicable or not, but I also heard some time back exactly what you said about true believers going underground and how important it is to keep, not only our sword by our sides and in our minds but other important information, as in the natural medicines and food our wonderful Creator has provided and not to rely on the tech that wants control of our minds. Keep fighting the good fight, soldier of Christ.
Yeah. Exactly. There's a lot of people who sense this even though some of them are non believers. God is speaking to us and we should listen. Good scripture I believe it is applicable and spot on.
Thanks for the quote from Amos. I think this is related to the night he referred to. A popular understanding of the "night" is Christ's death and perhaps each person's death but I think there is more to it than that. Christ is the light of the world so he is saying that he will not always be around. He is also known as the Word of God which, in light of Amos, also appears to indicate his absence. This absence of the "words of the LORD" seems to be a significant period of time and not just the couple days Christ was in the tomb. In Matthew 24 he also foretell the darkening of the sun and moon and stars falling from heaven. I feel this darkening of all the luminaries is a symbolic description of this night that is not workable.
