Jim was so OP, whenever he tried to solve something, man in yellow interfered to stop him from Season 1. Bro solve bottle puzzle in no time. Man in yellow had to remove him of the board, he was too intelligent.
@@ItsMe-jz5wbI think the breaking of the music box released The Man in Yellow, or Jade breaking that talisman stick figure could have released him as well. I remember Donna saying “This game is rigged” so maybe whenever anyone gets too close to closing the cycle, the man in yellow steps in to make sure the cycle continues by killing off those with too much information and/or purging the town. Remember after Meranda figured out how to save the children, we see Smiley “break the rules” by running at Miranda and then the same day the town was purged. I think that cycle, Miranda figured out how to save the children and the Man in Yellow sent Smiley to ensure it doesn’t happen, and then purged the town to restart a new cycle. Idk I’m just talking out my butt, what you think?

The jellyfish is the the rebirth process. Look at when smiley stands up with the like the red goop all around them. It makes the same shape as the the picture on the wall
Totally disagree. I think it was the best episode of the series. And they provided a lot of answers. They planned more seasons, why would they answer everything now?
I only saw 2, maybe 3 important answers to probably 20 important questions. How the monsters wound up the way they are (important) Why 2 of the characters have visions (important) What fatima's baby was (important) What is up with the dang bracelet lol (I didn't see this as important) So what other REAL answers did we get? Because there is a lot more they could have answered. This played out like a mid-season episode imo, not a season finale.
If they just gave us nothing but answer the episodes would be 20 minutes you need the other things happening to build characters n process whatever they're doing you just have a straight up hour of answer that would ruin the show the whole fun part of the series is the mystery n just getting bits n bits of information so we can piece things together along side the characters
@@docphil1995 yeah they messed up the whole season. They could have been dropping answers here and there the whole time. Which is normal for the other seasons. Instead it was fluff and questions. Then they only answered a few questions total. I never said I wanted all of them answered. I'm saying for 9 hours of constant questions we should have gotten more than 3 answers. It played like a mid-season episode. -also the person I was replying to said they gave A LOT of answers. The show didn't.
@@zzer0_fox yeeah that's fair I getcha, the mid season was definitely abit of a let down, felt like every slow right now especially after starting off so hot n heavy and ending so hot
Did we watch the same episode? Because I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. And they did give us a lot. They can’t give us everything, they have to keep you coming back next season. Edit: I’m adding to this since people feel the need to be rude responding back to me. And I won’t be wasting my time arguing with you on the internet. We DID learn many things. Just because they are confirmations of theory’s does not mean that they didn’t tell us. 1. The origins of the monsters, just because we don’t have a name for them doesn’t mean we don’t know how they came to be. Everything else up until now has been speculation from viewers. 2. Fatima giving birth to the baby that became one of them. You can’t say you 100% knew this because most of the speculations I saw said she was turning into one herself. 3. Bottle tree codes 4. Tabitha and Jade being recantations. Again this was just a theory up until the finale. 5. The voice Jim keeps hearing being the man in yellow. 6. Acosta first name (I know this was a small one but it was still in there) I’m sure there is more that I’ve missed but if this isn’t good enough for you, I don’t know what to tell you. This is how tv works. They’ve already said they want 5 seasons and if they give us major details and answers to questions, what would they even do for the rest of the show.
The problem is not to give us answers but how is done. Characters are dumb af. Many plots and characters motivations are cancels in mid season. The answers feels cheap and poorly explain : SHOW DONT TELL. Every revelation is "let me explain what i see in my dream".
@@DoflaminGood the motivations from certain characters being changed midseason could be due to the ongoing problems that the town is experiencing Yes, Boyd wanted to catch a monster so that they could study it, however, he was unable to carry out that plan due to Fatima being kidnapped. Reality is Fatima was giving birth to a monster, had Boyd and the others got there in time. Perhaps they could’ve taken that womb which was ultimately smily & Boyd could’ve carried out his original plan. However, everything got fucked as it tends to do in fromville and his original plans were derailed. Either way, I really enjoyed this episode and I’m looking forward to seeing more of the man in yellow
I’d also like to point out that your frustrations with the character of Victor are not that of the writers, it’s just that Victor himself is an unreliable narrator due to the trauma caused while living in Fromville.
The BIW pushed Tabitha out of the lighthouse so that she could bring HENRY back to Fromville. HENRY was the one who told Jim to get his mind right and get on Tabitha’s team and that’s how Jim helped Jade figure out the melody.
are they ever going to explain how that works , it must be a portal , why not allow other people to escape it , what is it , what power does it have , that little brat is always cryptic , my guess is that he is somehow related to her in some way , who could have provided more of an explanation concerning what was happening , nah , just push her out of the window , let her figure it out even though he obviously knows , what a dolt

I was sooo happy that girl tortured elgin he was getting on my dam nerves the girl that got played just like you told you the spirits are liars and he's just like noo you wrong like wtf bro
It's especially absurd someone claiming to believe the Bible would fall for them, yeah that's not an Angel bro like read between the lines or just the lines lol, demons lie period or Fae/demons whatever they are. Definitely acting like a little dumb ass maybe the eye gouging was a bit much but he had some of that coming for sure, i'm also glad Sarah realized she was played by them to.
I think he’s aging like the boy in white. I think the man in yellow is actually weakening because of the Town starting to work together and figuring what’s going on.
They abandoned many plot-points & the one I'm most pissed about is Boyd planning on capturing one of the monsters & studying it to find more ways of killing them. That storyline had so much potential & they just never went anywhere with it ever since Boyd mentioned it.
Do we know how many days it's been in Fromville since he started that plan? Given what he saw at the end of this episode I think he'll go back to that. Maybe blocking tunnels?
WHY ARE PEOPLE SO PRESSED ABOUT THE MONSTER THAT GREETED JULIE IN SEASON 1 ... ALL MONSTERS THEY KNOW THEIR NAMES EVEN TRUDY WAS KILLED AFTER BEING GREETED BY NAME SHE EVEN ASKED HOW THEY KNOW HER NAME ... THE GRANDMA PART...ITS JUST MANIPULATION JEEZ
It's because he said "Don't you remember me?" Makes one wonder if Julie is also an incarnation of someone from the original town, or if her she ran into him at some point when time-traveling.
Usually the monsters are trying to get you to open the door, the window, come out and that but if i remember correctly they were already outside but trying to get into the Colony house so why ask if she remembers you instead of just eating her up?
Likely just because of the usual inconsistencies that inevitably happen in any deep mythology based show, like they seem to be now rule /show writing wise set characters the monsters and it also seems like even among them they have filler monsters characters that are not main stars, this could mean that all or some of them have default personas- cowboy/smiley/old lady/waitress etc. but can also change into different characters at will? or that it's simply an early writing "mistake" or bug before they themselves set the rules which happens all the time on such shows, it's entirely possible they intended for the monster in season 1 episode messing with Julie to be a former friend or classmate she knew who died and was literally there for real as an evil monster now or a monster imitating him only to then decide against that as the show went on, plus they can cover up changes or inconsistencies by simply saying well the town is evil and messes with everyone's heads which is also true, but could be a lot of reasons why ya know. Even Julies actress seemed to think it was a monster taking the form of someone she once knew, but actors are often told very little as well. But that's why people are wondering is all is it just an early choice they changed along the way an inconsistency or both or etc. etc.
Man in Yellow seems threatened by the bottle tree notes song. I mean, it seems that's what brought him out and pissed him off enough to kill Jim, who just happened to have solved the song.
Yup Jim was important.. had the radio idea then the man in yellow told him his wife shouldn’t be digging the hole.. & he was the one who found food when they were running out
@LegitSosa Yes I know that's why she dug. I don't think she found as much as she could have, though. I think some secrets are still underneath the collapsed house.
Jade was us (the audiences of this series all along) in this series was masterstroke.... "Why dont you just tell me" - jade (2024) was this season's theme..😂😂
Victor's mental state should really come to your mind. He is absolutely not normal , he is scarred ..thats why him making mistakes actually makes sense.
Facts lol like they was presenting stuff for them next season, imagine they didn’t show the village all season then try to show it next season, they need like 5-10 more episodes to fully flesh out the current story while also showing new shit lol they just preparing to show more next season.
I think that people are disappointed at the fact that essentially they used the entire season as build up. You can’t lie this has def been one of the slower seasons with pay offs meant to be show in 2026? They should’ve peppered in more conclusions
@@qianaroyal1096 yeah they definitely had too many storylines going at once, that’s my biggest issue with the season. But I feel like next season they have so much to work with now that they don’t need to waste any time. Every episode will get better and better. And Tabitha better stop taking time off to collect herself lol
@@kcakiid Which is what I’m hoping for. They’ve had 3 seasons to lay the ground work down so the last 2 seasons need to be more action backed because it’s getting a little harder to keep up with old mystery’s and the new ones introduced. Really wished we didn’t have to wait till 2026😭
You're definitely in the minority with not liking this season ending. I'd go through debunking all of your questions but it would be a waste of time, so I'll just stick to the main ones that simply baffle me: - Why are they going back and forth with Victor's sister being dead or not? To create suspense, duh. Victor thinks she's dead, but we're getting enough hints that she might not be (which will most likely end up be the case, next season). Are you really asking why a show is not telling you straight forward if something happened or not? - Why haven't they answered all the unknowns this season already? So the fans have something to look forward to. The only pathetic thing here is your take on the season
It's crazy that Jim is the only death in the season finale. I was actually surprised because i figured next season would feature a plot line of Jim being jealous of Tabitha and Jade, and meeting used by the entity to do evil things. Honestly the show needs to lean into the horror more, like Sara should have killed Elgin during her torture and Fatima should have died birthing Smiley.
yeah , how the hell did she survive that birth , it was dumb as hell that she was even conscious after that , nio pain meds , lost a massive amount of blood , no problem LOL , this show has crossed over into ludicrous but it's still entertaining because of how silly it is . they have to keep fatima around because apparently she is an important character so she has plot armor
The place is dif for one if u notice when Ethan hurt his leg it heal faster than it normally would u can kill off everyone for shock value ruins the show 😂
Nah Jim was more than enough even that sucked I liked him a lot but it happens, this show is right at the limit with just enough deaths to be dangerous without going overboard Lost/Prison Break/ countless other modern ish shows style. Anime's handle this stuff very well surprisingly they can be dramatic super intense be in tremendous danger yet do so without killing off half there cast to then leave less interesting characters alive down the road. Ok Attack on Titan aside but that's an exception lol.
Yeah but I think the writers are leaving an opening for eloise to make a return. The guy who made this video just went on a tangent for no reason lol they never confirmed she was dead, just that she might be because he never seen her again after that night
I think it might be showing a cycle of what people in Fromville continue to do no matter how many times they end up there. So, in a sense, yeah. Like that guy got tortured for answers likely for the same type of reason and so forth
lol every vision jade saw was of his past self’s, the old solider was a past tense jade. I don’t understand why the guy who made the video didn’t understand this lol Now why did he have a rail spike in his head and the other was drinking blood that’s questions that need answers but it’s almost confirmed that those was past jades
It's cause the story was already written and Julia tried to change it but can't. Notice how she looks completely different from when they were in the dinner

That's almost definitely why the town poisoned the soil. It was because they were trying to hijack it. The only question surrounding that remains is: Do they already need to be pregnant? Or was the rotten food meant to kill the original fetus to make way for Smiley (and so Fatima wouldn't attempt to cut it out sooner?)
Nothing is normal in Fromville. Lights turn on without a power source, faraway trees, Fatima being pregnant despite being infertile. I think smiley dying was a predetermined event. They could've killed boyd then and there but they allowed him to kill smiley and let him escape doing so.
It's definitely super frucked up so not only are they screwed with zero weapons to fight them but now they can't even have children in this realm? not to mention they killed smiley with a 1 in a billion fluke, and even that didn't last man this place is screwed up! love it though.
Father Khatri's ghost isn't evil, he's Boyd's conscience. If he was evil, he would have been trying to talk Boyd into torturing Elgin, not the other way around.
Nah, Khatri don't want Boyd torture Elgin bcs Elgin is same team with the kimono lady,he defend Elgin and not like real Khatri always support Boyd decision
@@aery412 if boyd never torture Elgin..elgin may not tell the truth and that may lead to delay to found fatima then mission completed...that is what Katri wanted
Killing father Katri so soon was a mistake he was a good priest and a great character, and now Jim to dangit!. Love this show though overall I just hope it gets the proper run now which would mean 7 seasons minimum but I doubt it in modern era nonsense times.
I screamed and laughed at the endddd I wept realising these youtube theories ruined my reaction when they revealed Jade and Tabitha's true identity, was supposed to be more shocked 😭 I laughed cause my man Jim just dug a hole of heartbreak and has his oesophagus ripped few minutes later😂 Men being men, Jim didn't even realise his daughter looked different.
I love this show as well but in one whole season we were watching people searching for pregnant Fatima. This season was kinda shieeet m8. Usually when people have a good idea about a show they just start the show but they dont have a clue were to go next since they only had the first original idea without any depth in the story. That's what happened to Lost that's what will happen here..
@ real film critics have been almost unanimous in their praise for this show, season, etc. Steven king, the god of horror, is obsessed with the show. It would be extremely naive to believe that writers have no idea where the show is going?! The shows outlines and general scripts have been in place since the show was created. Are you in your 20s or early 30s by chance? I notice that people in that age group are so used to immediately being provided with answers, they need really high dopamine inducing footage, etc. My generation and later tend to be okay with traditional storytelling. We grew up with real books and some people had to read the back, but that was rare. It may be that this show is not for your pallet. You guys would probably like teacup, which is a show that basically gives all the answers in the first season. Give it a try, I actually enjoyed it as well. But I do think that the group of people that continually express that they are unhappy with the show, should just stop watching it. Now, if you continue to watch it and continue to comment about your displeasure, that kinda starts meaning that you, for some reason, can’t stop watching it? Which, I don’t know, almost sounds like if you go through the trouble to continue watching, in this insanely busy world, then…..?!? In the facebook group I’m starting to see this swath of people that have been bitching for over a season. At some point, you have to admit you are just as obsessed as the rest of us, or you’re not, and in that case, watch a show you enjoy
@@Nemesios777 Dunno. I started watching the show because I saw in promo material that 1) those were the lost creators and 2) they wanted to make this different now. aber I watched the first season I wasn't sure if I continue so I looked up if they had an ending and from what I read back than it sounded they have one. I think what happend here is that Season 1 and 2 got so famous the studio pushes them now for more than the planned seasons and they want to put them into the middle. that would explain the previous episode where characters meet up and just talk. feels a little bit like an anime filler, where they don't push the story further but use it to flash out the characters a little bit more.
Yup! Now we know she prob time traveled to a time or place where he was! It’s dope that they had that line since the first season lol shows they really had a plan for the entire show
10:28 they did actually explain this. Boyd went to the bus and sat with Randall the night he wanted to learn about how they move and how to catch one. Only they did not come out that night. Randall even mentioned they changed up how they operate that night. Since he's always had a front row seat, even pointing to their normal spots. They knew what Boyd was doing and there's been no attack or attempted attack since that scene. Other than the one monster knocking on the police station window and that was not to attack it was to taunt.
Your right good catch actually, I was wondering even a little annoyed like why has there been no scene with the monsters for like 5 episode straight since the premiere, but that makes sense maybe they predicted what Boyd was gonna attempt and changed tactics accordingly again.
Modern era tv frustrating as heck, back in the day hour long shows 22 heck sometimes 24 episodes every single season! now we get a little as 1-2 maybe 4 seasons for rare amazing shows like this, anywhere from 6-9 10 episodes a season max, and sometimes wait as much as 2 years between seasons, there literally taking longer and longer to do less and less, This is the one show I like love actually in the modern era and I just know it's only gonna get a measly 4-5 seasons max which is a darn shame it needs like 7 minimum!. I guess we were just spoiled before kind of like with video games.
@@LincyMcGabby Again which would be 100 percent fine....IF IF it is guaranteed a minimum of 7-8 seasons which a show of this magnitude requires but in modern bs era has almost no chance of getting. Taking longer and longer to do less and less shows like this used to come out every year on the dot have 22-24 episodes a season and get anywhere from 6-8 seasons.
Dan I hear you on your skepticism , it’s very important to keep these writers honest… but honestly I think it was a strong final episode . I believe that season 4 hasss to be more revealing season. It has to be a season to tie things up. But I do agree that many of the plot holes are starting to feel glaring.
I don't get your disappointment over several mysteries introduced this season not being resolved by the finale. It's also obvious that Kimono lady hijacked Fatima's pregnancy and replaced her baby with Smiley. The main answers regarding the nature of the town, both the monsters' and the pale children's origins and reincarnation were delivered, which is far more than most of us expected. I'm beginning to believe that Boyd is personally tied to the entity. As Mister Fish 'N' Loaves and the father-in-law to someone experiencing a twisted take on the Virgin Birth he's an overt Jesus stand-in. What if he's the entity's son and breaking him is all about shattering his delusion of being human? Maybe he got too close to humanity and lost himself. That's why the monsters never attacked him directly unless such an occurrence escapes me right now. Also, etymologically speaking, his name ("yellow-haired", "blond") points to a connection to the Man in Yellow.
Just because your theories didn’t happen or pan out shouldn’t determine that an episode is disappointing… this is by far one of the best episodes of the series
Well his genuine intentions came out as shitty attitude and negative Poor guy didnt even get enough time to break down from realising his wife isn't his wife or something like that bfr getting his oesophagus ripped out trying to protect his and that wife's daughter 😂😂
@@OrevaOgheneEthe Thats one interpretation, another is aside from the misguided Randal incident in season 2 Jim adapted and kept a cooler head then most did right to the end. Bottom line he was a good father husband and Man.
IM SOOO EXCITED FOR JULIE next season coz of how she came back from the future to warn her dad time travel is a MAIN part of this that no 1 is talking about
I'm starting to think that The Boy in White is like Julie and that he aged, because he's actually going back and forth throughout the story, trying to change things, like Julie's going to be doing and keep failing and adjusting tactics as time passes for him.
Catching and so called killing one of the creatures was pivotal to the story line. What we’ve learned in season 3 is that you can’t kill them. So even if Kenny DID burn them up, they would have all just came back at the detriment of the townspeople.
@ Agreed. However I think they were just messing with Boyd as they usually do. Just another way to try and break him… Used his daughter in law as the bait. And it worked. He was going to kill Elgin.
Why would Victor's longevity be attributed to a deal ? He was Tabitha's and Jade's son, so they protected him as best as they could, until their demise. He was friends with the Boy In White, so he got his help. He knew every inch of Fromville, so it was easier for him to know where to hide and how to notice signs of change and interpret them as reasons to worry and increase vigilance. Also, the Creatures don't seem to go out of their way to avoid harming him. Besides, Victor flees the Creatures when they attack Colony House, so he didn't feel protected by some form of deal.
I' m not entirely convinced the Creatures can 'definitely' be reborn after each death. After all, the woman wearing the kimono did actively prevent Fatima from ripping her own belly open. Either she did it because the Creatures had a tight schedule and they couldn't afford to delay Smiley's rebirth, by waiting for yet another pregnancy, or the Creatures are very vulnerable, while their hosts are pregnant, or because the number of rebirths is finite or because each rebirth requires conditions that are very difficult to obtain.
You won't get all the answers in one episode Because this is not a movie its a series with multiple season this is how it works you should wait for the answers until the writers show u them Watching this series i am sure that everything happens for a reason and the writers are well planned about the story' so dont doubt their talent

I think Smiley would have come back regardless of Elgin's role, since all that was needed for that was for Fatima to give birth. Sure, it would have normally taken nine months, but it's not like anyone could have performed an abortion, anyway. Fatima would have simply given birth to Smiley somewhere in the woods, while on the run with Ellis. Yes, she did try to rip her own belly open, but maybe that was only because she was Elgin's captive. In fact, without Elgin's involvement, Fatima might not have made the decision to try to terminate her pregnancy. If anything, Smiley's influence would have simply made her kill Ellis, then she would have completely lost her willpower and morals and willingly given birth to Smiley.
1:29 i think he is watching these people through the crows. Notice when Jade plays the violin in the subtitles it said "crows are cawing" that's how he knows about the song Jade played and that's how he knew Tabitha arrived in the ambulance so he told Ethan through the phone and set up a trap for the ambulance team to get killed. It's a valid theory 4:22 you might be right because in season 1 the episode of when the monsters got inside the colony house the monster that was kissing the mustache guy said something like "i didn't want to be this way" or "i didn't want to be like this" so maybe a few of them made a deal with the entity or the man i yellow and he made all of the town monsters🤷
I think it was bait & switch. They thought eternal life would be lived like they were not as cursed monsters having to kill & hide in caves in the dark. Edit: TMIY sold them lies. He may also have told the Kimono Lady he can rebirth her dead baby but all she gets everytime is a monster & not the baby she lost. She is not a monster more ghostly
Boyd did not make a deal to trade Randal. Boyd had no chance of saving Randal, in the first place. Boyd had to choose between saving himself and all the other survivors, while Randal was completely doomed or surrender himself and all the other survivors to the same fate, while Randal was still completely doomed. There is absolutely nothing that Boyd could have done to save Randal. Boyd's one and only choice was to either save every one except the impossible to save Randal or die while bringing every survivor down with him alongside the impossible to save Randal. Despite the Creature's choice of words, there never was a deal. Since Randal could not be saved, remove him from the equation. We're only left with 'We'll spare you, if you run away' and 'We'll kill all of you, if you stay' - the Randal part was completely insignificant, from a purely choice-based narrative. There was no deal.
We still don't know if we are watching father Kathri's actual spirit or if it's just Boyd hallucinating him in a town that regularly deals massive psychological blows to its inhabitants. Maybe not every single apparition in the show is actually real. Maybe some characters just start to gradually loose their mind. Also, father Kathri clearly doesn't want a 'front row seat'. Instead, he (either his spirit or just Boyd's hallucination) tried to talk Boyd out of it. Him being there when Boyd does cross the moral event horizon serves two purposes : He can force Boyd to see the pleas and disappointment in his eyes, as a last ditch effort to sway him from his choice, and he can later judge Boyd if he does carry through with his actions. He was never interested in a 'front row seat'. He had to try one last time to persuade Boyd not to do it and he had to bear witness, in order to later judge him, if he does harm Elgin.
I think everybody is upset we did get all the answers you wanted, but we did get some answers! Like the bottle tree, Julie going back in time to let Boyd out of the well, Tabitha and Jade reincarnated. You act like there is not more seasons coming to answer more questions. If you are a true fan of the show you already know it’s going to confuse you and keep you guessing. The fact people are saying it’s full of fillers and didn’t answer any questions is just bs. Sounds yall are not real fans at all. Character development is important! We got that from Julie, Elgin, Jim, Boyd, Sarah, and even Boyd’s son got a little redemption this season.
Yeah. I think the writers are just a bit deranged. Constant cussing. Constant boring pep talks. All over the place story. The writers may be high when they write this
If they were high the story would make more sense. This show is writers writing what they think somebody high might write. The show doesn't have an unusual amount of cussing either so that a weird criticism.
The writers They wrote for 5 seasons they know where the story going. And it’s awesome the way they have wrote it so far some don’t understand what’s going on still cause seems like some just not paying attention I mean u for sure won’t know everything that’s going on but u can make pretty decent guesses to the overall situation There is hints throughout about what’s going on and many answers there in plain sight and hidden. Some just don’t like character drama shows and this show ain’t for them but they still watch so they can complain about it for some odd reason
I agree. The writers are throwing too much unfinished junk that doesn't seem to correlate. I'm bored with this show. The writers need to take lessons from the first 7 seasons of TWD about character development. I'm bored with the constant teasing that goes nowhere.
Why nobody is talking about the possibility of the boy in white is actually the yellow man! See Miranda’s paintings ,the boy in white painting looks so familiar with the man in yellow’s painting,it’s more like a grownup version. Also when Victor told him “u have changed” as if he aged lil bit , he replied in fear “everything is changing” so what if the boy in white is the younger innocent self which will grow up to be the evil man in yellow. Notice that the boy in white appeared in the last episodes of the previous seasons but this season he didnt appear or lets say he appeared in the adult form aka man in yellow.
Those black eyes of the Man in Yellow, though! And the actor said in an interview that there were no special effects or contacts, but just the way the light hit his eyes. Kudos to the camera crew who obviously knew what they were doing!
You're wrong - we know why Victor's masacre happened. His mother died and she is vital for freeing the town - so they did the cleanse and wait for next cycle. Right question is - Why Victor survived?
Yes Christopher refused to try & save the crusty babies & Miranda failed so a new cycle started. Did they also have a storywalker like Julie. What if it was Eloise & she had been busy in the background without us noticing.
I can't agree with the critiques of Victor. He's extremely traumatized and the fact that he can speak and function is miraculous. I would expect him to be an unreliable source. Look how long it took him to realize it wasn't the puppet speaking to Christopher.
It is the endo of the season, not the serie 😭😭😭 can u guys chill and let things get solved in their own time? Enjoy the journey and the thrill. Don't get mad bc things hasn't turned out as u wanted. I feel like they got to do this "revelation" arch to make people happy and fasten thing just for you people to get some "answers" that aren't ever gonna be enough bc it is NOT the end. UGH
No mention that Julie's hair at the end was a different color, and length - and she was babbling about changing the story. Which shows that Ethan was wrong, and people in their flashbacks have been changing the past all along - which probably relates to the trees moving?
They didn't confirm that Fatima was pregnant until literally immediately following Boyd's transfusion to Ellis. I have been predicting all season that Fatima was pregnant from the worms from Boyd's blood that originated from Martin. Because the origin of the name Martin is like God of fertility or something like that. But people don't believe me because Fatima had been acting like she was possibly pregnant earlier in the episode before the transfusion. But she did not actually say she might be pregnant until directly after Smiley died and Ellis was transfused with Boyd's blood. I don't know the logistics but I feel like Fatima's pregnancy is due to Ellis getting the worm blood. Did they have sex immediately following the transfusion and it just wasn't shown? I have no idea but I feel a bit validated knowing that she could not have become pregnant prior to Smiley dying. Unless the writers explain it away as some dumb body-hopping situation where Fatima was pregnant but when Smiley died, his spirit hopped into the body of her fetus and stole it's life force or something.
When it comes to Victors sister def left us on a cliffhanger. I think it makes sense since Victor is so old and how traumatize his mind is. Letting us know that his sister def did not die when his mom did. My loosely based theory is Elosie ends up being Julie the story walker. The creature in the cabins is for next season lol. And Boyd getting affected with worms I believe is connecting to his Parkinsons and it's getting worse.
What I can’t believe they did was have Fatima literally just say important information to us without showing us, without any character figuring it out or anything like that. No she just blurts out “the monsters sacrificed their children for immortality”. Wait. You just know this? How? When? She said she saw it, but they didn’t show her seeing it. She just did. And they had her just tell us. Absolutely terrible writing.
Lol I'm so with xD Have you watch The Silo? It's a good show that actually answers it's questions, I don't know about season 2 yet, it's only been 3 episodes, but season 1 is really good.
I'm not even sold on the reincarnation being a real thing. We go from Elgin and Sara being brainwashed into believing the voices and Boyd and everyone else saying "this place fux with your head" to all the sudden reincarnation is canon just because Tabitha and Jade BELIEVE it?!?! C'mon people!
All the dead people that show up (bartender guy, the priest, etc) are just those people's subconscious manifesting. That's why they are always saying what that person is already thinking anyway, and never tell them anything they didn't already know.
In these days, one can't just write a whole story lasting several seasons for television (cancellations are probable right after the first season). So, they have to write one season, and if everything goes well, they have to keep making up season affter season, until the show gives no more money... That's why I believe cinema, and writing, and even theatre are superior art forrms...
The thing i don't Ike is it's been 3 years and none of the theories have been correct....... all a sudden ppl see the story? Cause all this was predicted...... wtf r yall watching because even now I'm still clueless
Still dont get it Who is the kimono lady? Why wasnt the yellow guy Not present when Smiley was reborn? Why didnt the boy in white just tell someone to remember? 💀
How did they make Fatima pregnant? I knew she was pregnant with a baby monster. But I think the town is scared of Boyd because he found the talismans. Those ankooe children’s hopes of being saved gave birth to those faraway trees
Streaming has really ruined tvfor some of you. 1. Episodes 9&10 were technically the last episode, so the boy was in #9. 2. You cannot answer questions without setting up new mysteries to solve. 3. Fatima was never given a pregnancy test so we really don't know if she was or was not pregnant when smiley died. Women skip periods all the time. 4. The Japanese ghost Ubume is who implanted smiley into Fatima. So either she was pregnant and Ubume stole her baby so she could implant smiley, or she wasn't pregnant at first and like in the Japanese legend of Ubume, she implanted smiley. 5. The other definition of Ubume is this...... ............. Many scholars have associated the ubume with the legend of the hitobashira,[17] where a sacrificial mother and child "are buried under one of the supporting pillars of a new bridge."[16]......... ............. Kimono lady was the original sacrificial mother and child. They were buried under the hatch that ubume took the smiley pod to. I think we did get many answers but we can't have them all in one show.. It's called a mystery for a reason. So try to calm down.. I love your videos so relax and instead of being pissed maybe pull the story together. To me I think the colonial man with the spike in his eye is jade. I think he and Tabitha were the original settlers there they had a daughter and were forced to sacrifice her. Tabitha being the one who told the children a story to help calm them down. I think colonial jade was then forced to drink his daughters blood out of her skull. His next reincarnation would be the cival war soldier..... And so on.
I noticed that in the second season, Mariel gave a stone with an anchor to Christie, and the anchor is connected to the Marines, which is Martin, there is also a similarity between the name Mariel and the word Marine.
Don't disrespect my man with the yellow drip like that. He's randall btw, judging by Miranda's picture depicting a MUCH younger Man in yellow having a red scar on his right cheek.
Everyone who keeps saying, "Don't bring up stuff that won't be resolved this season", y'all have such a fast food mentality. Most shows do have a formula, and they become stale. The rope is one payoff that shows things can work if introduced and then not immediately paid off. Keep in mind too, this show's timeline I believe is still very slim as for how long the Matthews family has been there.
We also don’t need all of the answers just because it’s the end of the season. I’m enjoying letting the show develop because once all the cards are revealed, the show will come to an end. Y’all have no patience in this age of Binge Watching.
Way too many loose ends for my liking; sometimes it seems as though they are simply making the show up as it goes. What about the banging on the cabin out in the woods; what was that small village where they found food; what was the deal with the worms; what happened to wanting to capture one of the monsters? Seemed like a heck of a story line to me. Way too much left hanging in the end.
I think Victor‘s family in the beginning the massacre was the man in yellow because back then they were close as well and now after him ripping Jim’s throat out, he’s going to go to the town and do what he did before, but this time they have talisman
He walked in daylight the talisman may have no effect. Didn't Julie tell her dad to go to town? Maybe he cannit enter town that's why he only talked to Jim on the radio & phone.
Jim was so OP, whenever he tried to solve something, man in yellow interfered to stop him from Season 1. Bro solve bottle puzzle in no time. Man in yellow had to remove him of the board, he was too intelligent.
why was he just watching and not stopping them? Was he trapped somewhere and that song released him or smt?
People be saying he's a useless character but when he uses his brain he solve more mysteries then jade
@@chakeemforbes1556He's def not useless but he's emotionally all over the place, he's super smart when he puts his brain to something but he's usually just causing problems and arguments for no reason. Kinda like Dale without the hidden intelligence lmao
When Jim figured out the 12 numbers were music notes Jade had me rollin' when he called Jim "My little Tea Cup!".
The problem with everyone in From land is nobody talks to each other about what they’re seeing and hearing. Keeping secrets is the problem
Yeah I hope Julie tells the others she can storywalk & convince Randall & Marielle to go to the ruins so we see if they can do the same.
Yea I know it's just a show. But the actions and reactions of everyone is so fake. I would have a town meeting every night .. everyone spill their shit. Acosta the only real one haha
Same as Lost. It's a convenient writers' mechanism for plot holes.
@@staxmcgee9760 i agree , it's so damn lazy when they introduce the time travel element , you can explain away anything with it as a crutch much like the parallel dimension thing , hey , they died , but wait , there's another version , or , don't worry about what happens , we'll just go back in time and stop it , then why do i care when they can simply endless loop events , nothing matters , it can be undone , there are zero stakes , Julie will just keep on trying until she succeeds , yayyy
The jellyfish is the the rebirth process. Look at when smiley stands up with the like the red goop all around them. It makes the same shape as the the picture on the wall

Agreed. 100%
Yep thats exactly what I thought first time watching it!!

And there is a jellyfish that is immortal, so it totally lines up, you're right.
I literally CRIED with laughter when you described the man in Yellow as a bum who walked in like he was the king of the world.
Funny he used the word "king". Research "the king in yellow". Watch True Detective Season 1.
@@staxmcgee9760
A king with yellow clothes
Totally disagree. I think it was the best episode of the series. And they provided a lot of answers. They planned more seasons, why would they answer everything now?
I only saw 2, maybe 3 important answers to probably 20 important questions.
How the monsters wound up the way they are (important)
Why 2 of the characters have visions (important)
What fatima's baby was (important)
What is up with the dang bracelet lol (I didn't see this as important)
So what other REAL answers did we get?
@docphil1995 I still love the show. I'm hopeful the next season will be better and we'll find out a bit more. 2026 is a long time away it feels like.
The only thing I don’t like is having to wait until 2026 to watch the next season, but I’m glad it did get picked up for another season.
Wait 2026....why and why is it pulling a Stranger Things? Could it be that they didn't think the show would have the success it's been having ONLINE?
At this rate Ethan will be drinking and smoking cigarettes by the end of next season.
I think the man in yellow stays hunting the boy in White all the time in the florest !
The character who plays Boyd says the 2026 thing is a lie and they don't have a official release date yet
@@NoraDesmond897probably yeah
3. Bottle tree codes
4. Tabitha and Jade being recantations. Again this was just a theory up until the finale.
5. The voice Jim keeps hearing being the man in yellow.
6. Acosta first name (I know this was a small one but it was still in there)
I’m sure there is more that I’ve missed but if this isn’t good enough for you, I don’t know what to tell you. This is how tv works. They’ve already said they want 5 seasons and if they give us major details and answers to questions, what would they even do for the rest of the show.
@ but why would they give us answers to everything? That’s not how tv works…
Exactly!
The problem is not to give us answers but how is done.
Characters are dumb af. Many plots and characters motivations are cancels in mid season. The answers feels cheap and poorly explain : SHOW DONT TELL. Every revelation is "let me explain what i see in my dream".
@@DoflaminGood the motivations from certain characters being changed midseason could be due to the ongoing problems that the town is experiencing
Yes, Boyd wanted to catch a monster so that they could study it, however, he was unable to carry out that plan due to Fatima being kidnapped.
The boy in white is a storywalker same as julie
Ooooh that sorta makes sense. Wow.
No he’s not. He changes things like sending Sarah and Boyd into the Tree
@@ChrisM-yq2pq They can affect the past. Same with julie giving boyd the rope.
I think so too!
julie appeared from nowhere she came from future to save her father but she couldnt change the story

They abandoned many plot-points & the one I'm most pissed about is Boyd planning on capturing one of the monsters & studying it to find more ways of killing them. That storyline had so much potential & they just never went anywhere with it ever since Boyd mentioned it.
Now we know if they kill a monster he will just regestate in one of them & respawn.
hopefully they pick up those dropped plot points in S4

People just don’t pay attention. Or are not very smart. Lol
It's because he said "Don't you remember me?"
Makes one wonder if Julie is also an incarnation of someone from the original town, or if her she ran into him at some point when time-traveling.
But that's why people are wondering is all is it just an early choice they changed along the way an inconsistency or both or etc. etc.
@danielhicks4826 excellent explanation... i don't think the writers would have replied lol

You're definitely in the minority with not liking this season ending. I'd go through debunking all of your questions but it would be a waste of time, so I'll just stick to the main ones that simply baffle me:
- Why are they going back and forth with Victor's sister being dead or not?
He knows that its Eloise's grave. He just doesn't know if he has all of the pieces of her. Or, if the remains are that of Eloise.

Fatima was definitely pregnant before boyd killed smiley. Her rebirthing Smiley made no sense to me.
She was pregnant before Smiley died but I think after he died Fatima's pregnancy was hijacked so Smiley could be reborn.
It's definitely super frucked up so not only are they screwed with zero weapons to fight them but now they can't even have children in this realm? not to mention they killed smiley with a 1 in a billion fluke, and even that didn't last man this place is screwed up! love it though.

I should've known when the guy told Julie in Season 1 Episode 2 "Julie, Don't you remember me?" as they were running to get into Donna's house
@DrCristina1997 Yep. Well we already know she hasn't time traveled other than to attempt to save Jim. Or has she...?
Yup! Now we know she prob time traveled to a time or place where he was! It’s dope that they had that line since the first season lol shows they really had a plan for the entire show
See these are the comments I love 🤍
That's probably how Martin got to know her, but how did he know about Abby?
Agreed, 10 episodes in a season and so little actually happened. It's so frustrating. I was so disappointed aswell
Yeah, most of it was just filler & drama no one cares about that had nothing to do with the main story.
Because it is a very deliberately paced series. It's smart and doesn't give answers just to give answers. The clues are everywhere.
Jim, did not deserve the hate he got, it was unwarranted
Well his genuine intentions came out as shitty attitude and negative
Poor guy didnt even get enough time to break down from realising his wife isn't his wife or something like that bfr getting his oesophagus ripped out trying to protect his and that wife's daughter 😂😂
A good man a good husband and a great father, him and father Katris early death are worst so far for me.
@@OrevaOgheneEthe Thats one interpretation, another is aside from the misguided Randal incident in season 2 Jim adapted and kept a cooler head then most did right to the end. Bottom line he was a good father husband and Man.
monsters didnt killed boyd becoz he is smileys grandfather😂😂😂
They cant all just wait for a lady to get pregnant though? gotta have other ways of being born but who knows.
You won't get all the answers in one episode
Because this is not a movie its a series with multiple season this is how it works you should wait for the answers until the writers show u them
Watching this series i am sure that everything happens for a reason and the writers are well planned about the story' so dont doubt their talent
It is refreshing to see at least one person knows how story telling works.
This channel has long since been critical of the series- y'all literally just came here to complain and gatekeep lmao
the JELLY FISH ENTITY, is not an entity, it's basically the portrayal of the reanimation of the nightmare creature, i.e. SMILEY REANIMATING IN THAT BLOOD COCOON, the form and bloody cocoon smiley came out of is simply the red painting in that cave
then what is the man in yellow entity
@@intelligence6743 just the coordinator, because i don't see an actual entity or entities would even disrespect themselves to a point showing themselves to human. but imo the man in the yellow is simply the coordinator when things gets way out of hand, they step in to steer things correctly, either through physical or verbal warning. he also protect the people in town
@@livelong6685 i think he is the final boss as all the time he watching the town people look how he said to jim your wife should not digging up the hole in the phone , and he also said to jim that knowledge comes with cost which means he was watching jim when he solved numberr tree and that is why he release anger on jim because he solved the big clue , the violin songs makes him free and the ankooey kid also to interect with jim and tabitha
@@intelligence6743 true, the nightmare creatures also have certain knowledge about the people also, and his body movements mechanics is similar the night walkers instead he's day walking. The next question is if he's THE boss, who manifest him to use a human vessel
@@livelong6685 at this point makers end the show in season 4 as they eastablish the main villain now and end him in the end of the season , if they want to go to the 5 seasons they will make the man in yellow as sub villain
Plot twist! The man in yellow is the boy in white!!! He is growing! And the more he grows the angrier he gets!!
So it's not really yellow, it's dingy
Make a tiny bit of sense but its not true because the boy in white was not the one on the phone
No it’s Ethan. He was there when his mom dug the hole
The man in mustard
This is the dumbest comment I noticed
The show is dragging on for way too long. I used to look forward to watching it but at this point too boring. The whole time travel, re-incarnation thing is lame.
Am I the only one happy smiley is back?? 😂 he was the creepiest looking monster of all time.
I just hope they give the monsters more screen time next season!
I'm happy Smiley is back I just hate the way they shoehorned him back in. Fatima was pregnant before Smiley died so how could her baby be Smiley?
It's a valid theory
4:22 you might be right because in season 1 the episode of when the monsters got inside the colony house the monster that was kissing the mustache guy said something like "i didn't want to be this way" or "i didn't want to be like this" so maybe a few of them made a deal with the entity or the man i yellow and he made all of the town monsters🤷
Just wait and see 😂😂 11:47
We still don't know if we are watching father Kathri's actual spirit or if it's just Boyd hallucinating him in a town that regularly deals massive psychological blows to its inhabitants.
Felt like they changed writers episode to episode in this season
Exactly
Or they found out the studio was going to renew more season the they had to stretch it out
I think everybody is upset we did get all the answers you wanted, but we did get some answers!
Summed up PERFECTLY.
BRILLIANT recap, so funny!!!
You had me looking crazy out here laughing alone with my earphones in 😂😂
Those black eyes of the Man in Yellow, though!
@beewest5704 maybe Martin was their storywalker? Maybe storywalkers are doomed from the start?
UGH
2026 is a long time from now. I am pained
I find it funny how some of these UA-camrs get mad because they don't get all the answers. Just give it time man
I think come season 4 we will get all our answers. I agree with what you said about the plethora of unanswered questions. I think 5 seasons is max
No mention that Julie's hair at the end was a different color, and length - and she was babbling about changing the story. Which shows that Ethan was wrong, and people in their flashbacks have been changing the past all along - which probably relates to the trees moving?
Smily came back with some botox and cheek fillers 😂😂😂
The man in yellow is the man that told him to not dig the hole
I agree, the writers think we're stupid. or they the stupid onew.
If they gave us all the info, you’d have 90% less content for this channel.
So wat
There wouldn't even be a series anymore 😂
@@80ighty Good one. 🙄 Thanks for adding to the convo. Your spelling sucks.
Lol I'm so with xD Have you watch The Silo? It's a good show that actually answers it's questions, I don't know about season 2 yet, it's only been 3 episodes, but season 1 is really good.
Someone finally says it, I got so much hate for saying this 😂😂
I'm not even sold on the reincarnation being a real thing.
Dude i love your laugh in your movie. As always great work.
The thing i don't Ike is it's been 3 years and none of the theories have been correct....... all a sudden ppl see the story? Cause all this was predicted...... wtf r yall watching because even now I'm still clueless
Exactly
MAN YOUR QUESTIONS CAN BUILD A HOUSE🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Still dont get it
Who is the kimono lady?
I don’t understand why everyone so upset with not knowing everything, just be patient. If they gave us all the answers, what’s left to watch.
I understand if you are disappointed with it, but it’s not as bad as you are making it. Honestly, you were annoying in this video. Real talk
We also don’t need all of the answers just because it’s the end of the season. I’m enjoying letting the show develop because once all the cards are revealed, the show will come to an end. Y’all have no patience in this age of Binge Watching.
Why didn't he kill victor, victor basically knows the most about the town and he literally said "Knowledge comes with a cost"
Julie must have been storywalking to the past and that's why the monster on the porch in the beginning episodes recognize her! 🚨🚨🙆
I agree to this 100% alot of good things just dropped off but srill love the show
When you start using terms like "bullshit" and "unacceptable", you should probably just stop watching and reviewing the show.
LOL, I said the same thing to my friend, Elgin actually hooked us up, and gave us Smiley back!
I couldn’t care any less about that preview at the end. Definitely not watching that.
When walking dead got popular they had two seasons. Hint. From writers. February we need more please
I think Fatima got pregnant with smiley indirectly from Boyd’s worm blood given to Ellis. It killed him and then rebirthed him too
Ayooo 😂😂😂 bro flamed the man in yellow 🤣😭
I think Victor‘s family in the beginning the massacre was the man in yellow because back then they were close as well and now after him ripping Jim’s throat out, he’s going to go to the town and do what he did before, but this time they have talisman
He walked in daylight the talisman may have no effect. Didn't Julie tell her dad to go to town? Maybe he cannit enter town that's why he only talked to Jim on the radio & phone.
How is it that no one else speaks Anghkooey? The monsters, boy in white, man in yellow all speak English.
Because of the times. They change with the times. Just like their clothing. Smiley will probably wear some up to date clothes now.
@NotNiceLeeK The children are literally the offspring of the monsters yet they speak a different language somehow.
