Awesome van! I remember these from back in the day. When I was a kid, I wanted a conversion van. Besides for sleeping, sofa bed can also come in handy if you have a massive load of groceries.
6:27 I could be wrong, but it looks as if that cupholder on that swinging door was customized. Whoever sat in that seat by those two swinging doors on the right hand side of the second row was probably complaining about missing a cupholder when he or she needed one. No cupholder means a tough choice of either holding your beverages in your hands and keeping it upright especially when it's open for more hours than we could tolerate...or...not bringing a beverage of any kind and not have anything to drink for more hours than we could tolerate. I guessed it because my parents once had a 1995 Ford Windstar, an old fashioned mini-van, and my brother was older than me, still is today as long as he's still alive which he still is, I was the younger brother with autism, and his seat was on the left side by the solid wall and my seat was on the right side by the sliding door, and he as well as my mom and dad each had what I was missing, a cupholder, and I couldn't tolerate riding without one knowing I needed one very badly, I had pop cans, and had a hard time avoiding dropping them to the floor and keeping them upright because when it opened, it couldn't be closed, and it was a very bad challenge for me because there were times I dropped the can to the floor and spilled soda all over, either way, made a mess, and my mom and dad weren't happy about it when it happened and blamed it on me when they should have known better that it wasn't my fault and it wouldn't have happened if I had a cupholder, so my dad had to stop on the side of the road for my mom to clean up which wasted napkins and time, and to keep it from happening more, they bought a portable console and put it between both seats, mine and my brother's, and my cupholderlessness days were over, sorry for the long comment, but I'm just explaining my experience with family vans and giving the best answer I could think of as to why and how that black cupholder was added up there.
I had a 1992 Centurion van wish I kept it. It was a gas guzzler. Wrong vehicle to go from Woonsocket RI to Norwood MA for work every day.....but BOY was it comfy!!!!!
No such thing as a 5.8 triton v8. It’s just called the 5.8l v8 351 windsor I prefer that engine over the tritons which did not come till 1997 and were 4.6l and 5.4l triton v8 and a 6.8l triton v10.
My parents had this van when I was a kid but it must've been a different year or model, since the back had seats to the side that folded down for beds, and a toilet in the far back.
Not true, you can buy. There's plenty of these vans out there. You can buy them used for $5000. 6000 dollars, 10 grand depending where you go, so b*******
i have a 95 also. very similar. leather seats. the interior is flawless. no rust at all. great van!
I own a 94 with 42,000 on it. Love it. Wish it was white though. Bought it with 19,800 miles on it.
