i love this song. my teacher was playing it for me in class one day and i was hooked. this song is so powerful and touching that i actually cried a little bit. this song makes you remember all of the pain and happiness you're feeling at that moment. this song is real emotion.
I try to listen to miri ben-ari every day, she is my "music role-model." I play the viola also and LOVE IT! when i hear this song it makes me want to stand up, close my eyes and sway from side to side, and take in how lucky i am to be respected by all of my friends, family, and people i dont even know !!!! and if i was in MLKJ's time, i would have stood by his side the WHOLE time! AMEN
This song can almost bring tears to my eyes. It is so beautiful. Most people would not think that someone my age (14) can appreciate this kind of music but I do. She did a great job. She is definitely one of a kind.
Not even from America but she can speak the words of Martin Luther King so beautifully. If only everyone could come together and get along with the international language of music.
Miri is an incredible talent, she blows my mind. Please recognize that is George Duke on piano, one of the true giants of music! This is truly a match made in heaven!!!
don't be ignorant please. this piece is like a soundtrack to all kinds of struggle. I am jealous of miri ben-ari who is a bloody great violinist and deserves props.
How can 44 people dislike the song. Listen to the words of the song and not the way she moves her head. It's trying to prove a point and people are looking at misc things. This is what Dr. King was fighting for and people don't get that. Happy Birthday Dr. King. May You Rest in Love. He fought for equality that everyone could be together and get along. But we still fight against eachother in society and in our own communities. Get it together people of all nations.
She is such a talented Violinist. I met her and she told me she practiced 8 hours a day when she was my age...and I'm 15. Simply amazing. I really don't think it matters how she uses her talent as long as she uses it.
Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! I posted this video 8 years ago and every year it reminds me of how important it is to carry on with the DREAM! #martinlutherkingjr #happyMLKDay #SymphoneyofBrotherhood ua-cam.com/video/jfz1hJZPsxM/v-deo.html
Why are you so sure Miri Ben Ari cannot feel or understand it? the beautiful sound of this song obviousely was written and composed out of a pure emotion and understanding. As Miri, I am Israeli too and I have incredible respect for MLK and his powerful message. You might not realize this but we know one thing or two about struggles as people too...
This song will change the world...Some forget just how powerful Hope is...This song is a catalyst to a better day and I for one will champion the cause of a brighter future. I cry everytime I here this song...
This morning I opened a folder of music I'd saved. Played this by Miri Ben-Ari and tears are running down my face. So powerful and beautiful. I live in El Paso. peace. love.
Gosh still listening years later in the month of May. What a blessing it is to be able to be human and not have to always be separated by race, gender, sexual orientation, occupation, or anything else. At the end of the day all we have is each other.
She is an AMAZING violinist. She is not the only hip-hop violinist, but she is a pioneer. Her passion for the music is refreshing and motivating. I quit playing the violin when I was 16 because I thought it was all Bach and Mozart, but she has turned me back onto the violin with her styling and intensity. I love it.
Ive never felt so much emotion comin from a song, this is one of the most powerful song Ive ever heard, her violin spoke words no singer or rapper could ever say

I Love this song...her exspressions throughout the video you can tell that shes tired of the racism and that shes hurt by it...but yet she is really happy that some people are changing
The first time I heard about Miri Ben-Ari was in Twista's video to "Overnight Celebrity" I THINK. But today I was just sitting and watching t.v. and this song came out on a commercial and it blew me away. Everything thought that burdened me vanished.
