I try to listen to miri ben-ari every day, she is my "music role-model." I play the viola also and LOVE IT! when i hear this song it makes me want to stand up, close my eyes and sway from side to side, and take in how lucky i am to be respected by all of my friends, family, and people i dont even know !!!! and if i was in MLKJ's time, i would have stood by his side the WHOLE time!
    AMEN

This song can almost bring tears to my eyes. It is so beautiful. Most people would not think that someone my age (14) can appreciate this kind of music but I do. She did a great job. She is definitely one of a kind.

How can 44 people dislike the song. Listen to the words of the song and not the way she moves her head. It's trying to prove a point and people are looking at misc things. This is what Dr. King was fighting for and people don't get that. Happy Birthday Dr. King. May You Rest in Love. He fought for equality that everyone could be together and get along. But we still fight against eachother in society and in our own communities. Get it together people of all nations.

She is such a talented Violinist. I met her and she told me she practiced 8 hours a day when she was my age...and I'm 15. Simply amazing. I really don't think it matters how she uses her talent as long as she uses it.

Why are you so sure Miri Ben Ari cannot feel or understand it? the beautiful sound of this song obviousely was written and composed out of a pure emotion and understanding. As Miri, I am Israeli too and I have incredible respect for MLK and his powerful message. You might not realize this but we know one thing or two about struggles as people too...

She is an AMAZING violinist. She is not the only hip-hop violinist, but she is a pioneer. Her passion for the music is refreshing and motivating. I quit playing the violin when I was 16 because I thought it was all Bach and Mozart, but she has turned me back onto the violin with her styling and intensity. I love it.

The first time I heard about Miri Ben-Ari was in Twista's video to "Overnight Celebrity" I THINK.
But today I was just sitting and watching t.v. and this song came out on a commercial and it blew me away. Everything thought that burdened me vanished. This woman helped me realize that you can't just sing from your heart, you can also play from your heart.
    Flawless.
