The hard rock of Rebel Yell meets the smoothness of Careless Whisper. Really needs Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool to put this in the next DP movie. This is pretty damn good!.
This guy has a pair the size of basketballs! Bringing " Rebel Yell" from a fast 155 bpm to a crazy 180-something is just nuts, but the result is just addictive. Another Wax Audio classic!
just tried this, starting the song as the phone is about to hang up.... oh yeah it works brah. song even stops at the point he punched through the car windshield.
Rock School, you're wrong. Andrew Ridgeley was the man that CONVINCED George Michael to actually sing. Michael was never confident enough to sing until Andrew Ridgeley convinced him. That's actually how Wham! formed.
It's not even that they mix together well by speeding up George Michael, Careless Whisper sounds so much better with the softness of his voice countering the edgy, rocking instrumentals.
Ladies and Gentlemen! Tonight at Biff Tannen's Pleasure Paradise, we proudly present this week's Billboard #1 Single - Careless Rebel feat. Billy Michael LIVE!
Technically, I know how you did this (speed up + pitch adjust) I just wanna know HOW these two songs came together in yer twisted imagination...this is GREAT!
Twisting the original audio certainly isn't something mash-er-up-errers should be afraid of and yet it seems to be something they shy away from. Shame, really.
Man you are a genius... the vocal line works very, very well with the chords. This would have been a great song on its own if it came out originally like this.
As a guy who loves Careless Whisper and loves quality Rock and Hard Rock, I adore this mashup man. Best of both worlds!!!! Never been a Billy Idol fan though, but that music is so killer, and fits way to pefectly with Careless Whisper.

Heh. In an alternate 1985, "Careless Rebel" by George Michael is topping the charts. Billy would go on to sing "Don't You Forget About Me" instead of Simple Minds lol
I upped the playback speed to 1.25, and it still sounds great. This mashup is and was phenomenal. My entire playlist is nothing but mashups. They rule.
My dude took two 80s hits, mashed them up, and the result was something even more 80s than the two individual songs.
Lol yes!
