      I put them Q3+ on on last Fri.. did a track day on Sat and man "AMAZING" I personally will bever buy the supercorsa again just for the simple fact the Q3/Q3+ are providing everything that the supercorsa provides but they're half the price.
      my mechanic pumped 34PSI on both and that didn't go very well as i start feeling that i'm loosing the front, so i ran the front with 30PSI and the rear 31PSI and that was unbelievable how great they where.

    I used all hand tools, a 55mm socket from Northern Tool and a 24 inch breaker bar. The only issue I had was the holes in the clip didnt quite line up so I had to tighten slightly more to get them to align. All good.

    This is the MAIN feature I wish my 899 had as well, removing the rear wheel take a bit longer than I'd want. Plus re-installing it and aligning the rear wheel using the NON-precision notches on the swing arm blows. My OCD kicks in and I MUST use a digital caliper to measure the distances on both sides of the swing arm to the tenth decimal place.

    Pit bull stands are not cheap, but so worth it.

      @@Dutchman0 I have the same rear stand I use on my SuperSport. It's sized so you can use it on either side of the rear wheel. One side of the swingarm is one size and the other a different one. So the spindle is sized for the smaller hole. So when you put it through on the larger hole side the bike will lean a little, but when you switch the stand to the other it will hold the bike level! The pitbull stand requires two different spindles to use it on either side. It's a trade-off I'm willing to take since the T-rex stand is cheaper.

      Losen 2 bolts at the back of swingarm. Tighten up chain by pulling upwards with a specialtool, secure both bolts with 30/35nm.

      Impact to loosen the nut. Never use an impact to tighten.

    Hey man I am in a time crunch and really need your help ASAP !!!
    I am replacing the chain sprockets. Everything is going great... now im stuck.
    I bought a super-lite kit. Rear sprocket, new flange and carrier. How do I remove the hardware from the original sprocket?? The piece that outer flange bolts onto. I did not get the extra plastic light cush drives. I thought "Big deal I just use the original hardware on the stock sprocket."
    Track day is SUNDAY !! AHHH !!!

    • @cnealmartin
      @cnealmartin 6 років тому

      Yes !
      Turns out the cush drives on my OEM sprocket needed to be pressed out. Once those were removed they slipped in the new sprocket carrier with no effort. Got lucky and a local Ducati tech did this for me. Only took him about 10mins.
      New light weight 520 chain, carrier, sprocket set up looks amazing and runs excellent!! Track day yesterday was sooo nice. The shifts were super easy and drive was much smoother. I went with a 40 rear sprocket. Not a dramatic change in the gearing.

      @@Dutchman0 I live a good 50 minutes from Chicago and yeah, not much changes. The only place that's different is probably Galena, they have some nice roads, but nothing impressive. One of my neighbors moved to PA, still in touch with them. We're looking to go south, my parents are getting older and the winters are getting to be a bit much. At least, if nothing else, this state has quite a few MX tracks.
