From James' video, Ben was absolutely back mentally. It was so good to see him amped and loving how he was performing. Next round Bens top 8. Mistakes happen and RTR learns from it. Excited for future rounds and congrats to Ben, James, and the RTR team!
I have so much respect for Vaughn between this video and the announcement video he posted recently. I know being transparent with fans can be tricky and cause hate. But, Vaughn pushes right through and says what needs to be said. He doesn’t blame anyone (or any manufacturer) for their shortcomings, he just says let’s move forward and be better next time. Life is full of screw ups, no body is perfect. It’s how you handle them that actually matters.
Proud RTR fan over here whether it’s FD or Ultra 4!

Great update. We were sad for Ben. Thanks for sharing what happened and after 21 years we know car stuff happens so thanks for explaining. There’s a song what doesn’t kill you make you stronger! On another note James Deane is amazing and humble. And the story of the 14 year old is almost unbelievable. Love the new shirt!!

Ben's attitude is seriously contagious. And he's a hard nosed competitor - that really believes in the team, and will do whatever to improve the team's standing. Even if Ben isn't driving, he'll have tools in his hands or making sure that everyone, including Dean, has what they need to compete. Ben is a RTR Lifer, hopefully. He has everything you'd want in a driver when it comes to hard work and willingness to learn. RTR Mustangs are a beast to tame - and he's willing to do what it takes to be competitive in it. Seriously, all the respect to Ben and the RTR team. I loooove what you're building, Vaughn. Whether it's sending cars sideways or over big ass off road jumps. I'm here for it.
Also, Ben, give us some content on your damn channel, bro. People will eat it up. Everyone loves seeing you do your craft and how you approach it.
Ben is dope! He has a great attitude, and knows he is fortunate to be on the team, and great things are coming for him for sure 🤘🏼😎
The only thing keeping Minowa from WINNING in FD in James.....wild. Kid has a ton of skill. Can't wait for him to come into his own, get stronger and smarted and dominate. He could be the next James Deane and I'm here for it.
Another learning experience, but the fact that you guys were able to figure it out quickly is why team RTR is the best
We learn, we grow, we move forward and take those lessons with us. Love the transparency here from RTR! Sucks for Ben and the team but can't wait to see the team shredding next round.
Sad how things went , but accidents can't be predicted nor controlled so , it is indeed as you said , a learning experience , wishing every one of y'all the best especially Ben , would love to see him at the top ❤
I respect people that own up to a mistake.. way to go, Ive felt bad that it took until ST Louis for him to break out of seeding. I try to find him every round and boost him up in the pits.

Unfortunately with cars anything can happen and sometimes it doesn't even have to be anyone's fault. Anytime put any vehicle under that kind abuse sometimes stuff just breaks. You got one hell of a family down in the pits.

RTR has a good recipe, build good cars, put better drivers in them. Denofa got RTR ready for Deane. Now Deane is making RTR legendary.

im super happy RTR is owning up this mistake, they happen, period. its sucks what happened to Ben, but im Happy, he was still Positive. its good knowing it was just Mechanical, bullet proof or not, shit breaks. just happy over all, that RTR is progressing in such an amazing way, and is being transparent when problems happen.

Watching Adam’s video was some nice perspective on Ben, he said Ben is going through the same thing he did trying to get used to the car. Makes perfect sense based on what we are seeing
It’s not just the car. There is so much new and different at RTR vs where anyone has come from. It takes time to adapt to it all. And yes the Mustangs are Wild to tame. But when you do they are rewarding as hell. Stay tuned my man!

@@VaughnGittinJr even James said in his St Louis video how much more comfortable he is in the car compared to a year ago. These mustangs are special and unique beasts and once these drivers get used to them and unlock their potential it is very apparent (at last from this outsider’s perspective!). Love what you guys do, and as a fellow NC resident it’s so cool you guys are here!

Shows the level james is on picking up on the RTR so fast.. Ben will get it eventually it just has to click for him and its all a learning process at the end of the day.. some decent runs at st lous. Would still love to see Luke fink in an RTR

***Tall order, but would it be possible for you to buy and refurb an old track, or plan and build a new track, bring on sponsors, co-op with Formula D, bring on Chelsea and any other pros for input on what makes the track just right, and have a bespoke event location? Because damn we need some alternatives. This track was certainly not ideal.

Racecars will racecar and humans will human. Racing is a fickle beast and sometimes shit happens and so long as it only happens once, that's how teams progress and grow. Happens at all levels. Checklists for prep, follow the processes and get those wins

James is carrying the team, which we all knew he would, but its rough on the team when one car is being dragged around the country and getting thrashed only to practice and lose the top 32. It sucks and its a back look for RTR. It is a business after all.

For this particular transition to new style revised clutch it was tribal . For prep etc we have documents .

@@user-wb5fv8no8r it's his first year in pro FD and his first year at RTR. His car has had multiple flaws so don't expect him to get wins straight away.
