As a young soul trapped in a Gen X body, I find these kinds of videos refreshing. After spending a day pretending to be a mature adult, it’s nice for my inner silly emo girl to run amok watching videos like Jake’s and Johnnie’s. This is my first Carrington video but definitely not my last.

I love the slower and chill-type content. It's a good pace and allows me to digest the message you are trying to convey. Sometimes I even ponder all day about what was said or what I have watched that day. That's currently why I've been watching your older videos slowly so I can digest them properly. And like Jake said I love your videos not cause of the quality of the production but because of who you are and the authenticity that you show. I love the collabs and I recently watched another video of you with Arrington on his channel and can definitely see the influence your friends have on you and you on them. Love you man!

sometimes we overthink a lot... everything is simple - be yourself and be happy !! that's cool that not everyone like us !!

I genuinely needed to hear this. I've been constantly cringing and judging myself through the eyes of others because I don't fit into societal norms, and this video made me feel as if I don't have to. I'm only 16, and I regret not doing a lot of things I wanted to do in the past, and I'm tired of being filled with regret. I look up to both of you because you're the epitome of not letting other people's views on you affect how you live your life, and I can't wait until I reach that point in my life. Thank you for this video. love you both so much! 💕

23:16 is so true... when u ask most people that succeeded in their field if they knew they'd be where they're at now, their answer is usually "yes", not because they're egotistical, but because it's true you gotta really want something enough to believe that you'll make it. Sometimes passion is the only thing that'll drive u to take action and achieve ur goals! Love how laid back and genuine u guys are:)

I feel like the concept of "cringe" came from social media anyway, cause it used to not be like that back in the early days of the internet, like MySpace. We were all just doin our thing. And now it's like ants under a microscope, where we're all so aware, especially of judgement, & there's this whole new wave of trying to be cool in this artificial & super intense perfectionism way, to the point of being robots. It's crazy. And now that's the weird standard.
I miss when there was no judgement on the internet. We were just havin fun with our friends. And that's how the early UA-cam & MySpace used to be. Lmao I feel like a millennial expert, & I just did a dissertation.
