This is totally gonna improve how I fling >:3 After flinging for a bit I learned how to do it with the default settings.(I’m using a ps5 controller) all you have to do is put your thumb between the square and triangle so when you push down it presses both. And have your lower thumb between x and circle. First you want to press the square and triangle really fast then immediately x and circle with your lower thumb..hope this helps the people who don’t want to change the settings!! :3
people would get annoyed that i do this all time, because i always accidentally drop-kicked my teammates fortunately, it appears they drastically reduced the stamina cost of rolling, so now i don't need to use the fling anywhere near as much as before still very useful in specific situations, such as crossing a big gap in ice breaker

as of the most recent patch, you can no longer fling Trebuchet bombs, but you can still fling everything else!
And here we are now, nothing can be flung, not even your character
