Voyagers of the Jump is an original adventure using the 2022 2nd Edition Update to the Traveller RPG rules set by Mongoose Publishing.
First published in 1977, Traveller is a science fiction RPG in the vein of The Expanse or Battlestar Galactica. Most who played the original game back in the day remember the robust character creation system where if you push too far and get unlucky with the dice, you can die before you even start playing.

I feel like Puffer should have been able to keep his gauss rifle since it was a trophy from the mercs. He'd definitely have taken it with him to the ship and stowed it next to the pudding reactor. Of course he could always have traded it away for a few cups more later on if it had to be removed...
Puffer's space phone better ring, or he is going to gain a lot of weight from too many puddings.

This was really amazing. I don’t mean to put Seth on the spot. But having learned how to make Traveller characters from his videos. He really carried this mission. The whole cast are amazing as always. Alicia really came full circle missing out on the new game who dis, remaking her character as the sister of her last character, was such a cool idea. Sydney is always fun, she really loves playing the badass. Skid got to play with Seth, I can tell made him so happy. But Seth was such a team player, and he really showed so much chemistry with you guys. He made suggestions, hyped others to be in the spotlight. Helped with rules for Matthew without being a second GM. He really was the MVPC. I loved the last moment, he said “No, the ships not going to explode, it’s going to Implode, but come on let’s go.” It was like a spot on Big Bang Theory gag. It was a joy watching you guys.

What the hell are you doing to me?! This series was so so good, I can't believe it's over! It's just as Seth said, 'It's like saying goodbye to some old friends.'. A fantastic cast, an amazing story, an edge of your seat ending. What more could you want? More of it, that's what we could want! Also I love Matthews referee style, he's so soft and kind and helpful, and yet so utterly ruthless; it's delicious! Anyhoo, I'm off to have a little cry in the corner of a dark room.

Absolutely amazing that this was only a season finale. This has so far been a great group playing a beloved game that in my opinion isn't played enough in the streaming circles.
Love this game, love this group. And agreed...can't believe that Traveller isn't played more often by more RPGers.
I think this leaves the question of "the 73 years back in time" was only a simulation in the superior being's virtual world.

After watching the whole season, I can say that Matthew definitely earns his last name : "Boss of the house" (in italian : "capo" -> boss, "di" -> of the, "casa" -> house). All the players were amazing, love you all guys !
That was superb, a great cast , a great story, and a bittersweet ending. I do hope there's a season 2. There are so many questions: Gigi's sister, what the devil was going on with Loquar and the Exterminatus order (you cannot let that thread drop). It begs for a second season. Also, I again stand in awe of Skid's collection of appropriate gifs. Well done one and all.

Man, Matthew absolutely nailed this ending! It was so good. I was so invested in the story and the character's lives, I have to agree with the comments. They are spot on with wanting another season. I'm also curious what story could fill that time slot pretty soon.
Of course at the very end of the movie, the scene cuts, and what song plays on the theater speakers? JUMP by Van Halen, of course! 🎸

I’ve had a lot of fun listening to this. Much kudos to the producers, Matt and the players. I like the length and number of episodes, LOVE the intro/outro music and the strong sci-fi tone. It has certainly put Traveller on my ‘to play’ list. I hope we get a season 2 and many thanks for the entertainment!

I’ve watched a number of Traveller gameplay sessions and this one has been my favorite by a large margin. The original story was wonderfully crafted, the players were entertaining both in and out of character, and if I’m going to watch hours of gameplay, Matthew as GM is really easy on the eyes lol

Small rules correction. I know that the GM can do whatever he wants, but if we go by the rules: disarming is grappling attack and that is opposed unarmed roll. So both roll and winner is the highest roll.

Well done. I loved this series. I wish Glass Cannon would do more of these shorter campaigns. I just don't have the attention span for something with 70 plus episodes.

Good finale. Matthew does a great job. I love how he recaps what each PC did last time; I'm trying to remember to do that.

I haven't enjoyed watching a playthrough since Wil Wheaton's Titansgrave game in 2015. I just discovered Glass Cannon through Voyagers and binge watched it with zeal. I'm loving GCP campaign 2, and I can't wait for Voyagers 2. Thank you for rekindling the imagination in this old geek. You guys are fire.

Great campaign! Matt did a great job running this and all of the players did an awesome job doing what players do...meaning "Let's Destroy The Plans Of The GM Within 5 Minutes Of Session Start"...
Candidly...this is the first streaming campaign I've watched all the way through. Normally I don't like them but this one caught me...a combination of the players, the GM, and the game system grabbed my attention and I love what they built.

Just finished the whole thing, took me awhile. I really enjoyed it. Matthew is a great GM and the whole cast was awesome. I used to play and run Traveller games so this was nostalgic for me too. Hope you guys do another Traveller sometime again!

I really enjoyed this series. Great job from the players. Some of the GMing seemed railroady, like when the crew kept making all their roles but the GM kept putting them in a bad position, like he really wanted the novella in his head to play out like he expected or didn't account for the crew making great roles. As a GM I expect the crew to never do what I plan for. Sometimes it's more fun to improvise.
First glass cannon series I've watched all the way through, and it was an absolute BLAST! I loved it, thanks gang.

Sorry Matthew that they totally hilariously failed the understand of you endgame entity and why they did what they did. Then continued their downward spiral and conspired to murder the entire crew instead of even contemplating recurring the crew. Scuttling a ship doesn't me killing the crew on it and the entity didn't say the crew had to die only that the ship had a flaw and was destined for a cataclysmic even. Throughly enjoyable episode though. The shear hubris portrayed by the players towards a cosmic being just proved what the cosmic being was saying over and over. Lol. Can't wait for the next season. 😂

Great show. Although I can't help but wonder what would have happened if they had checked the date after Shaq left and asked the crew to do the same. Because they quite obviously were back (thus 73 years in the future for the crew), weren't they?
Great cap off to the campaign! Unexpected revelations and continuing solid character roleplaying throughout this episode 👏✌😮 Personal highlights for me were:
1) 00:41 to 00:44 - the Larsai discloses his profound moral dilemma - a moment worthy of the best of Star Trek Next Generation! (For example, the conclusion of "The Survivors", Sn3, Ep3, 1989) 😳😲✌
2) 00:45 to 00:46 - the Larsai hopes that the PC's - by virtue of their very humanity and mortality - might be capable of coming up with a resolution of the moral dilemma that he is unable to see out of 😳😯
3) the twists and unpredictable developments of the plot that turbulently lead to the episode's (and campaign's) conclusion 👏✌😯

So it occurred to me that if "Shaquille" was messing with spacetime to make everything appear 73 years ago, would all of those changes have reverted after he left? The crew could have asked for the captain to check the date one more time.
