Patriarchy robs women (and everyone) of connection to their true feminine power, because it’s a system that prioritizes the perspectives and experiences of men. In that system, women are valued for how much they conform to a ROLE, not how in touch they are with themselves and what’s true for them-leaving a lot of the magic and mystery of “the feminine” largely obscured or totally hidden.
I was talking and joking around with my colleagues and at a moment I made a funny face while telling a story. Suddenly a guy I don’t even know well, told me not to make faces like that. “Don’t loose your magic as a woman” It was maddening and sad at the same time. Being expected to perform a role im not interested in playing.
@ I know. It hurts more because that’s just who I am. I love to joke around and be silly and do impressions. Turns out that as long I am being myself, Im not seen as a true woman. Ok enough with the pity party haha
Girl you shine a very important light- love your work. Sometimes I think why are we in times where that is even still necessary like its so dumb but then I look around and be like we NEED that so much... Speak up Queen we are here to listen
😂 honestly as a stay-at-home mom who doesn't have to work and does whatever the hell I want for the most part... It's actually the most feminine I've been. Worked in a very male-dominated industry for many years, and it just wasn't the same it wasn't fulfilling. I do miss it at times, but being the caregiver the one who runs the house the one in control of everything in the house, and having a house😂😂 is none better. Honestly I'd be dead or in jail by now without meaning in my life. Because when it was just me taking care of myself I was very reckless
@ZelphOntheShelf you know it's so funny you say that like I still kind of get reckless but my husband is my best friend he's my partner in crime... We get reckless together, but you know in reading the comments on some of your videos that seems like you really are helping quite a few women so good for you, I could hang out with you:)

It was causing so much mental harm to my wife trying to fit into the cookie cutter role of a mormon woman. She's doing much better now.
Yay! 💗

I love that! I’m glad you’re not being reckless anymore :)
