"Push forward. We're taking these reactors and we'll retrieve our fallen brothers in the process."
Deion knew he had big boots to fill. Kelros had been one of the best, a member of the ruling council.
The fallen Lord-Captain would be sorely missed by his company, but he had bought their lives with his own, and in the process entrusted the completion of their task to Deion.
And Deion would be damned before he failed his Lord's final task.
This time the orks would have no Gargant to shield them from his wrath. They would wash over them like a storm of rage and blood.
At least, that had been the plan, but what they found was a complex in which all the greenskins were already slaughtered.
What was even more peculiar was that 3rd company's losses were all neatly lined up, each with their weapons in their hands, as tradition prescribed.
Deion shook his head "Signal the mortis squads to come and retrieve the bodies, then move to secure the complex."
He knew of only one person who could have achieved all this on such short notice.
The eerie silence around them was confirmation enough of who had been responsible.
He raised his sword to his helmet and greeted the shadows "My thanks, but next time, we will kill our own foes."
Something moved in the shadows, or rather the shadows themselves seemed to move.
Deion could only wonder about what had taken place here, and feel a tinge of regret over not being able to witness it take place.
A few hours ago...
The complex was heavily guarded, especially after the orks had spread the word of the attack on the generators.
Thousands of the beasts were crawling all over the place, desecrating it with their presence.
The High Executioner's kill squad was only six men strong.
Hadrian considered this to be gross overkill of course, but they were here to send a message.
Striking from the shadows, they would hit whatever targets were vulnerable, record the screams and death gurgles, then use these as bait to lure more orks into their traps.
All in all, they were clearing through the hordes far faster than anticipated, fuelled by their hatred for the foul beasts.
Though Hadrian Thall's rage was different from that of his brothers.
The Blades' rage was like a roaring fire, as were only found on the planet they called home. It was passionate, glorious and destructive.
Not so the High Executioner. His rage was cold, calculated. But it was by no means less lethal.
In fact, it was often remarked that he had elevated killing to a work of art, and he took pride in that.
After all, the High Executioner's task was just that: to be a killer. The greatest killer in the chapter.
And Hadrian was just that. Not the best fighter, not the most refined swordsman.
He fought dirty, turning the tides of entire warzones with a few well placed knives.
The executioners, his Blades in the Dark.
The orks finally got to understand what that meant. For them, it was like chasing ghosts.
One moment they heard their kin scream in pain and fear, only for them to turn the corner and find their mangled bodies hung from the walls and ceilings.
They died with that sight burned into their eyes, as the kill squad sprung their trap, of course.
Asphel, his steadfast second in command, whose sword flickered every time it cut one of the beasts.
The Mortan, first of his servants, greatest of his weapons, joined the fight with his pistols spewing plasma, before finishing off any survivors with his knives.
Gabriel, who was not even inside the complex, but instead sat several kilometers away, placing shots into his targets with accuracy that natural means could not hope to match.
Nielen, who cut off escape routes. Quite literally, in fact, as his sword flashed out in quick slashes, aimed only to wound and inflict pain, so they could record the next set of screams.
Durak took less pleasure in their work, but then none of them could recall the last time Durak had fun doing anything. He simply placed his shots and swung his sword in methodical, calculated strikes.
Finally, Hadrian himself would not join his kill squad. He prefered to hunt on his own, cutting down many more targets than he could ever kill when in a group.
Only Gabriel was in a position to assist his Lord from time to time, but rarely found the need to do so.
Because the High Executioner had a target in mind.
And as he entered the crude excuse for a command centre where the greenskin leader had decided to plant his banner, his target became tangible.
A Warboss, the ones the orks considered the biggest and strongest of their race, and thus the ones in charge.
It was not the beats in charge of the battle for the planet, but it was the one responsible for Kelros' death.
And for Hadrian, that was enough.
He quickly glanced around the room, but deemed the bodyguards present unworthy of sullying his claws.
As they tried to attack him, their shadows came to life. Some became blades that impaled their living counterparts, others dragged the unsuspecting orks into their cold embrace, never to emerge again.
Hadrian simply smirked. So many other psykers could not value the art of controlling shadows like this, saying it was less powerful than a blast of energy or an explosive discharge of psychic might.
He always let them say that. It made the moment in which they realised that their own shadow turned against them, trusted companion as it had been all their lives, all the more satisfying.
Not that he could say the same about these orks, as he did not take the time to relish their demise.
He simply killed them, and moved on before the Warboss even realised what was happening.
All he saw was a blur of black and silver as Hadrian's claws took his head from his shoulders and hung it from his belt.
They left the complex as Deion arrived, off to hunt more of the beasts.
They were a lethal weapon, these men, but there was one flaw that prevented them from being used as often as Hadrian would like.
The executioners, and Hadrian Thall most of all, never knew when to stop.
They would burn the warzone to the ground if that was what was needed to confirm the kill.
And Firalis would feel that soon.
Very soon.
Not even Exodia can Stop this man from tiping😧

I can't tell if the skull of smoke between them was intentional or not but it's awesome
pretty sure that's not a skull, it has the general shape sure, but when you zoom in it looks more like a broken arched dome fallen atop a pile of more rubble with a broken pillar laying sideways in front of it all, from the overall artwork, it looks like someone summoned exodia in a temple that is now collapsing around it because the temple couldn't withstand exodia's might
I'd have to assume it's either some work out of a fanfic world or possibly something out of the egypt's fall time travel?/living memories? arc that I barely remember, from the end of the original run of yugioh (before all the subtitled variants and even crazier crap started happening...which is saying something considering how that arc played out, with the whole Kiba dragon thing and, ya know, literal GODS being summoned), honestly offhand I don't remember if exodia actually showed up in that arc, but IF it did, and it *probably* did, with the power it was said to have made real, it'd fit perfectly

N0e you gotta make videos of the fusion cards for everything.
Going from blue eyes to three headed blue eyes and either do the blade man fusion with the three headed or when you sacrifice the three headed to get the ultimate blue eyes white dragon. Or you can that elemental fusion. I forgot its name but it requires 3 mothers each one has a symbol on it representing its element. Better yet do mecha zelda. I hope I typed that correctly. Guess I'll have to find my ps2 games and find out 🤞

I have a question: is Exodia stronger than the Three Gods - Slifer/Osiris The Sky Dragon, Obelisk The Tormentor and Winged Dragon of Ra?
no at the end of the season exodia defeated by zork by combining the 3 gods they created the creator of light that is the most powerful of all
In the anime and manga no, the Egyptian gods are the strongest creatures in yugioh. I would have loved to see someone play Exodia against an Egyptian god and see what would have happened, probably some millennium magic bull crap that negates Exodia. However in the real life card game Exodia is an instant win, it does not attack gods or any other cards you JUST WIN. That’s it. The only way in real life the Egyptian god cards can replicate Exodia effect is if they are sacrificed to summon the creator of light horakhti which is an instant win as well.
