Leave alittle longer line out when you get fish close to boat. If fish is coming from east point pole to west itll bring fish to you easier. Dont have to walk down your pole to net him. Took me along time to figure that out. Good video man and good luck in your outings.
Ya it was my first measurable fish for that tournament. I was so frustrated all I could do was laugh. I’m rigging my 17 pa for tournaments for the 2025 season. If you have any suggestions let me know. The video is up on my page. Tight lines
Make sure you have braid, flour-carbon and monofilament on different rods. Make sure you have a good variety of Bates, but don’t overload the way down. It’s a delicate balance. When you’re moving creep up in certain spots and cast far into them.
