It's a lovely deck. Some of the court cards are instantly recognisable as members of the Tudor court, I think this might influence my readings as you know the history the persons. Very well done though. If you like these cards go to the National Portrait and National Gallery next time you are in London.
I love Kat Black's tarot decks. I have both Touchstone Tarot & Golden Tarot both as beautiful. I always find that US games produce gorgeous decks, so perfect.
I love this! 😍 I don’t have anything like this so I am definitely going to add it to my wishlist, it’s beautiful. I was thinking, wouldn’t the edges have looked cool in brown - the gold is lovely though and favourite card would probably be The Hermit. Glad you managed to pick this up my friend 😍❤️
A classy deck. For me, Kat Black's Golden Tarot is perfection, and as lovely as this is, when it comes to tarot, I need to see full figured action cards rather than being confronted by a gallery of portraits. I think I'm good with The Golden and don't think I need this one.
I picked up that deck in the shop ...remembered you had looked at it...sooo glad you have it 💚 ooooh I love Thomas More ❤ and yes let's celebrate that amazing three of swords !!!! 💚 Good night sweet prince...parting is such sweet sorrow 😂😂😂 who doesn't want to quote something thespian 🤷♀️😁💐💐💐💐 I lived a tudor life ...were you there in court ? X
Three of swords is Bloody Mary I think who burnt lots of people at stake for refusing to become catholic , she is Henry 8ths daughter or his first wife Kathren who he divorced x
This is now my favorite 'Wheel of Fortune' card, love the angel and the realistic animals in each corner. I have about 100 Tarot and Oracle decks and now becoming very picky about purchasing new decks because I have a tight budget. So to justify buying a new deck, it really needs to be good artwork because I love getting 'lost' in artistic Tarot and Oracle cards. I really am captivated by this classical art, so this deck definitely on my Christmas wish list.
Apart from Queen Elizabeth I spotted a few other Tudor figures in the cards. Anne of Cleves is one (Henry VIII's fourth wife) and Bloody Mary's in there too.
Beautiful, beautiful. On my wishlist for a long time too.

Agreed 💯
The Emperor reminds me of Billy Connelly when I read with it, makes me chuckle 😂
🤣
My deck came today. So glad to see your walkthrough as I haven’t had the time to examine my deck. Thank you!❤
Hope you enjoy it! 😍

The artwork is gorgeous! ❤❤❤If I had this deck, I might try to pair it with Vintage Wisdom Oracle by Victoria Moseley.
Oooh I’ll check that deck out.
Are you maybe thinking of the blue Fyodor Pavlov backs Simon?
@@demeldapenkitty7937 oh yes, that’s it!!
Hi Simon 🩷 Just ordered while watching! Love it! Just gorgeous!!🩷
Enjoy ☺️

Golden is wonderful, enjoy ☺️
I have both too and I can't say which I like the most in terms of art, but working with...the linen always wins.
this deck is fool of portraits, it's lacking sceneries but i don't miss it
I may have to order this one! Beautiful ❤️ Thanks for sharing ☺️
@@cedarinthecity3358 No problem 😉
Nice atmospheric artwork 🎉 however can be misleading as we have so many close ups has weakened symbolism, great atmosphere 🎉

@@chrissyplanteater2892 Yes, and Catherine of Aragon!
🎉
Beautiful deck! I especially love the backs. I’m torn on whether to order the Touchstone or Golden Tarot. I’m sure I’d be happy with either one.
Both are wonderful 😍
