Nope. First of all, there are no ugly women but there are plenty which doesn't look like models. And if so, as long as they have talent what's wrong? Everything else is a matter of taste. Do I like most of the DJs nowadays? No, but that doesn't mean they are bad or trash, it's just not my personal taste and I don't like to hear the same, let's say mindless sound for hours. Amelie Lens, and any kind of Amelie Lens, is a mainstream popularized commodified 2020 caricature of a much larger music scene. If you think that Amelie Lens represents the “female stereotype” in djing, you haven’t looked deep enough. The underground scene does not care about looks, good music is good music. Many female djs out there, beautiful and not, playing selections that you never heard of. Check out djs like anthea, alexandra, sonja moonear, margaret dygas, beatrice dillon, laurel halo, laurine (slow life), RA+RE (france), Jane Fitz.
