The un-curtain windows are beautiful!!! Curtains are completely unnecessary in that room. Loved last years plaid Santa tree and this years Snowman tree!
Your dining room is so pretty without those heavy curtains. Those formal curtains used to be popular years ago. Love your Snowman Christmas tree, turned out so cute and to shows people they don't have to have a lot of money to decorate a tree. Have a wonderful day😍

I grew up in lovely 1915 home on seven acres so sharing my morning coffee with your family brings back lovely memories. I inherited part of that property so my father’s lifetime of planting is continuing.

Love how pretty your tree turned out! Some great ideas. One thing about the windows. We also have those big framed windows probably made around the same time as yours. While being able to see them is wonderful. I agree with you they are just beautiful. However, its winter. The amount of cold air that slips in around the frames and edges is enough to drop the room temperature enough to keep the rooms feeling cold, and make our heater run much harder than if we keep them covered by heavy blackout drapes in the winter.

When you look at the tree from a distance, with the snowman topper and the two red boxes on the floor it looks like he is wearing a pair of red shoes. Very nice. Gave me ideas for my house.

Love this theme. Looks like a perfect festive winter wonderland with the snowmen and the snow and the globes. And what a great discover with the window mouldings! Would love to see how you decorate this room that's otherwise over looked. We all have that spare room that ends up being the storage, unpacked boxes, etc. room. Lol.
Love the "skinny" tree---we don't have a lot of room and this would be perfect! The snowman topper was a GENIUS idea--turned out so cute!!! Love the framed cards... now I know what to do with the beautiful cards I hate to throw away! The windows are BEAUTIFUL!!! without those drapes!!! Your use of "non ornaments" was great... love them! I have been unable to decorate or put up a tree this year due to a lot of remodeling going on in my home, so I really enjoyed watching you decorate this tree. You did a wonderful job on your Dollar Store Christmas Tree Challenge! I love seeing just the window moldings in your dining room. It really opened up the room to take the drapery down. I plan to do the same in my bedroom, once the reconstruction is finished.
