If you want to call her being useless, except for her gimmick, not telling Apollo Phoenix was being blackmailed, and performing terribly in the one case she's the lead "time to shine", be my guest I like Athena, but this game does her so dirty
I just played the game threw. And i really enjoyed the end :) The only thing i don't really like is how bad they portayed Phoenix Wright. In Apollo Justice he was supposed to be the legend. Now he is only big talk xD. I would have enjoyed it if he would have been more professional. I mean all these big shocks he gets in the trials don't match up with the story. Since he was able to bluff in 7 years long in his Poker games without loosing. In Apollo Justice AA he was more in control of the trials. And the Phoenix Wright we saw before loosing his badge seemed more experianced than the Phoenix we have now in DD and SoJ. He is as professional as Apollo and Athena. Though in DD and SoJ, in my opinion, Apollo did way better then Phoenix. It's ok. I like Apollo and i enjoy his character development. But the new writers really messed up with Phoenixs character. A good lawyer laughs till the end... then why the heck does he always have to be shocked about new facts which come up in the trials. He is known for being a good bluffer but keeps sweating rivers. And somehow everyone is able to tell what he's thinking by reading his facial expressions... a clear contradiction! They just use the old jokes, the old character so superficial people will be satisfied with him. But i really enjoyed the old AA games and seeing what they did to Phoenix is really disappointing. A mentor who is bested by his Subordinate after only three years... I guess i have to accept that...
Phoenix was only out of character in that civil trial. Though his hands were tied, with maya being held hostage. However, he didn't try to find a way out and serve justice like he did in "farewell my turnabout". He just gave in and made very desperate claims. Kind of ironic when you consider this game takes place 10 years after farewell my turnabout. And phoenix is supposed to be 'more experienced.' But that's my only problem with phoenix in this game.

Callinater He's given in because this time the stakes are higher; Maya's in another country with no one helping him, and not just in the city where Edgeworth could still command the entire police force to surround the entire area of where they thought she was. Must suck to have your spirit medium kidnapped twice because she can't fight back, no? That's why Edgeworth recommends to get a ninja thief girl thing instead!
JustA_Guy That's only cause your not in control of him in AJ. You don't see his bluffs because he doesn't actually let them on (we just see the sweating animation when we play as him). Whenever you see him while playing as Athena or Apollo he seems pretty chilled out as well.
I liked it the way things were, honestly. Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice made me not care about the "Phoenix Wright:" bit to the title because both games perfectly divided the playable characters into reasonable portions (aside from Athena). Calling those games Apollo Justice games seems over the top. If anything, removing Phoenix Wright from it and just calling it "Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice" would've done the trick at this point. These character names behind titles were there because the character in the title was also the main playable character (Even in Trials and Tribulations, you play Phoenix for the longest time in the game with Mia and Edgeworth only coming in handy for 1 case and 1 day in total.) Miles Edgeworth titles focused on Edgeworth Apollo Justice title focused on Apollo Phoenix Wright titles focused on Phoenix Ergo, a game like Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice wouldn't have a character title. It focuses on all playable characters ranging from Apollo to Phoenix to Athena. It'd do them no justice if only one name showed up in the title.
The answer to why it's called ''Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney:*Insert title here*'' is that Phoenix Wright sells better then Apollo and or Athena because more people know him
SPOILER ALERT! Apollo has come a long way. Got his own law office and everything. I wonder if the next Ace Attorney will follow Apollo's adventures in Khurai'n?

@@pyroagentofchaos There's that one backstory of him as a child that can be summed up in ten seconds and then there's his backstory with Dahlia that spanned the third game. Goddamn. The remixes to Phoenix's, Apollo's, and Athena's theme was awesome. I really love how Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice gave the supporting caracters Athena and Apollo to shine. I also loved the final case since it made Apollo his own character.
oh absolutely. SOJ has the best objection themes
@@themcusbiggestfan3210 no the first game had the best. The third game pursuit is next.
If you want to call her being useless, except for her gimmick, not telling Apollo Phoenix was being blackmailed, and performing terribly in the one case she's the lead "time to shine", be my guest
I like Athena, but this game does her so dirty
@@Pol74698 SoJ did Phoenix dirty too YOU KNOW THE ONE WHO'S NAME IS LITERALLY ON THE TITLE OF 5 OF THE 6 ACE ATTORNEY GAMES

Optimus Prime transforms
Apollotron Prime Justice.
They need to bring back Apollo's cornered theme
they should used this on the battle with the queen
Apollo Justice pretty much became a legend just like Phoenix Wright
Im Apollo Justice and Im relevant!
I think I developed a crush on Apollo just based on how cool this theme made him look LOL 🤣
I just played the game threw. And i really enjoyed the end :)
The only thing i don't really like is how bad they portayed Phoenix Wright.

And also, I don't think you ever referred to the original trilogy. THAT is phoenix's character. AJ was the game that got phoenix's character wrong.
This is his original and DD theme made 100% MORE BOMBASTIC WITH FUCKING INFRASOUND!
HELL YEAH!
They finally put on clothes! Nice
These character names behind titles were there because the character in the title was also the main playable character (Even in Trials and Tribulations, you play Phoenix for the longest time in the game with Mia and Edgeworth only coming in handy for 1 case and 1 day in total.)
Miles Edgeworth titles focused on Edgeworth
Apollo Justice title focused on Apollo
Phoenix Wright titles focused on Phoenix
Ergo, a game like Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice wouldn't have a character title.
TheMaleLilligant maybe a spin-off 🤔
I would prefer an athena cykes game
Games without Phoenix don't sell (sadly)
@@CS_Oddities yes so they should focus on Phoenix and make him better.
@@x-rax716 I don't think they can develop phoenix more then they already did in Trials and Tribulations.
1st Apollo Justice trailer... That thing was epic

i guess you could say you killed spirit of "Justice" ...

This floored me when it started playing. God I love Apollo
Ohmygosh my favorite lawyer's new theme is so awesome I'm fangirling so hard right now! And I'm a guy and I MEAN fangirling! Not that I didn't want to buy the game anyway when it comes out in the west, but now I want it even more! I'll totally love the **** out of it for the music alone oh gosh!
Phoenix Wright? Sorry nick, but in this game the protagonist is Apollo, mi favourite character
@@Q78zcheq That would make Apollo the protagonist, you know.
@@Q78zcheq I mean, imo, Phoenix kinda stole the thunder from Apollo in AJ:AA, so hey, at least it's fair now
I'm pretty sure there can be multiple main characters. They both have similar involvement in the story. The only one who had their spotlight stolen was Athena.
"Phoenix Wright" sells better than "Apollo Justice".
Also, "Apollo Justice ~ Spirit of Justice" would be a weird name
@@isabelleshi6669 it isn't tbh. In aj while Phoenix got a spotlight apollo got a lot of backstory and no butchering of characters were done. In Soj Phoenix didn't get much. Neither did athena. They only thing they got is the characters got butchered.
Listening at 1.25x speed is more hype than I can put into words.

My boy Polly has a damn good theme.
Just saying, if Nick ever gets into smash..they need to include this track!
i love this part 0:20 - 0:22
Does anyone else find this version of the theme to be a bit slower than the one in-game, or is it just me?
though i like the original better, this rearrangement has a real vibe to it that really fits the game as a whole.
This soundtrack so 80's
You know it'll probably just be called something like Apollo Justice - Objection 2016 or something xD
Why would they change it? It's been called ANOC since AJ
+no u I never knew that 😧 thanks for the heads ip
Not sure why this game is labelled Phoenix Wright, this was very clearly Polly's game.
because naming it phoenix wright would attract longtime fans to the series
Marketing strategy
This is the equivalent a pursuit variation to apollo's 2013 objection
Petition to change the game name to Apollo Justice Ace Attorney: Spirit Of Justice
Im happy they fixed this from the previous version. the duel destinies version felt like it wasn't really faithful to the original. this one has more thought towards the original. ;)
All it needs is something like that guitar play at the DD version and it will be perfect.
It might me late, but I have an idea. We must have an Ace Attorney set in the organized criminal underworld. And those cases involve breaking a "criminal code", with mobsters and shit.

Also, those 16-bit chip tunes do feel very "Sonicky"
OBJECTION!!!
Your view of the comment section was different from mine and the other guy's one. When you respond to a comment and create a thread, the older comment is thrown to the top, thus creating a fake contradiction in my statement... also, the accuser clearly stated where the "Sonic" comment was... **slams desk**....
Oh sh*t, I spilled my coffee

갓도로키 붐은 온다
This game turned one of the lamest characters into one of the greatest
not like he was that lame from the start...
Polly was FINE from the start, they just made him SO MUCH better in SoJ
To be fair, he already improved considerably in Dual Destinies
He wasn't lame at all though
awesome !
This music plays when you corner someone with logic and the only possible outcome... is Victory. xD
they are talking about apollo's trilogy while capcom is making 6 more games about apollo
I’m fine
Personally, I like Dual Destinies better because at 0:37, that was what I didn't enjoy the most. This one is still crazy good, but Dual Destinies in my opinion is better.
i personally enjoy that part very much :)
I guess you liked the bell part more I liked the bell part too but this new part I think is amazing. I love the retro vibe.
me realising this is the same pitch as the aj credits
If you listen closely to the theme, the Objection theme itself is saying that this is supposed to be Apollo Justice's game.
Any objections?

Dammit 3 dislikes :o
Haters gonna hate :/
I like Apollo and all but I am truly getting sick of the fact that they had to force a THIRD backstory for him.
Like, there's a point where you just gotta stop.
I would argue that Phoenix himself has three backstories, and many people say that AJ onward are Apollo's trilogy, so what's so wrong with it?
@@pyroagentofchaos There's that one backstory of him as a child that can be summed up in ten seconds and then there's his backstory with Dahlia that spanned the third game.
Only one of those had major tie ins to the story.
We have two different backstories for Apollo's heritage , the second one becoming a significant plot point while the first is simply to explain his eye powers and another backstory detailing a best friend he never mentioned that also tied into the story.
It genuinely feels like the backstories were just piled in on top of the other without finesse.
