This is a message to all parents out there, pls and pls let ur children choose whoever thy want to marry , this is a free world as Emmanuela use to say, u can only stop ur child to get married to someone if u can see danger in tht marriage, eg, bully,disrespect ,violence and all the bad things, apart from tht as long both parties are happy about each other, ur only role is to support them and respect their decision.

OceanBreeze for your knowledge i want to describe cast system to you.. it was 1st introduce by king manu around 3000bc in his book "manusmriti" aka "manuscript" in which he define Kingdom and its constitution. he define a karma/work based criteria which divided the society in to 4 major division known as "varn"- brahaman, Kshatriya,vaishya and shudras/untouchable
brahaman are supposedly have intellectual skills
Kshatriya are supposedly have warriors skills
vaishya are supposedly have business skills.
shudras/untouchable are supposedly not having any of this skill so they are worked for community services.
these cast are further divided into cast depending upon skills(each cast have 15 to 20 subcast)
each subcast further divided into groups AKA "subcast" they are as many as 100s in number.
each subcast is further divided in to mamy small groups AKA "Gotras" and then families.
this is like any standard classification😃😃😃
and this is part of culture of Indian subcontinent not only a part of single religion.

and Look at my photo you see I'm a dark skin colour person and i'm not belongs to shudras/untouchable, and my best friend is belongs to a cast which is classified under untouchable have very light colour skin....
even my mother have light colour skin and father have dark colour skin.
in whole indian subcontinent lighter skin colour is beauty criteria for both man and woman thus lots of people(almost everyone ) use anti tanning creams and fairness creams.... we all human want to look beautiful according to ours own standards,it is a part of human nature.
i cannot deny the crime injustice and violence against untouchable that was very disgraceful and unjustifiable.
this violence against shudras bcz of power politics and social corruption and financial interests of upper cast people.
now in modern india we abolish this curse by law after the independence of British raj. law is so strict that if you call a person with its cast then you got jailed for 6 month without bail
but sadly social stigma of cast system still present in rural part of india special during marriage.
hopefully we will abolish it completely in near future.

I have a friend who is from Cambodia and she is part Chinese and she is whiter than most South East Asians and she took pride in the fact that she wasn't dark like many of the Cambodians and Laotians. She was puzzled as to why some whites in America were prejudiced against her since her skin was almost as white as theirs.

The Lord bless you both. Tears are in my eyes...my husband and I went through some stress to be married too, but nothing like this. It wasn't the most pleasant experience so I don't really recount our wedding. You are both strong to not only speak of it but to show the video for the world to see!! I salute you both. Prim, you must truly be awesome for Jas to have pushed through all of that pressure to marry you. It couldn't have been easy. Interestingly, your message after the wedding obviously reminded him of whom he'd chosen. Love to you both - really mean that.:)

The venue looked great for the reception and it was nice to see the support and love you received from the people who really mattered and who wanted to make your big day(s) great. Jas' account of how he felt emotionally was heartfelt but it showed how strong a person he is and continues to be given his several accounts on how you met. What was the icing on the cake and the happy ending of the union for me was Jas' honest account of him breaking down when he read Prim's message to him - it proved the great love that forms and makes your union. Great editing by the way.

Hi, just catching up on your vlogs, now I understand the title. A similar thing happened to my friend who is a Sikh woman who did lots of work for her temple. She married a guy who was Hindu, her father received the phone call on the morning of her wedding saying her wedding wasn't going ahead. So they had to find another venue etc, it all worked out in the end. Like you both, True love wins in the end. Who God put together, no man can take apart. You both are so very blessed.💕💕

Hi, amazing and beautiful couple. i am speechless, Primrose told me to wait until I see the gurdwara wedding but nothing prepared me for what i saw, this is shocking, to say the least. When i saw the amount persons at the gurdwara tears were literally streaming down my face. The hurt is real, raw. You are the two strongest persons I have gotten to know. The first word out of my lips were - forgive me (SAD-these people are "real sadist"). I can't believe. How could they do this to someone they love. Listen Jas we in the world felt your pain, and now we share your pain. Each time you went around the Guru Granth Sahib, we made the journey with you. i am a fan of Sikh wedding and there are usually hundreds of persons in attendance and supporters. I thought to myself, even though persons may disagree with one's choice, I believe tht they should at least give them the respect of being an individual with the right to choose. In Christian belief, not even God touches our conscience of choice and he respects it, "i have set life and death before you choose life, that thou and thy seed may live." God tells us what to choose and why but he does not force us to choose or dictates our choices. In sharing your video, we now share in your experiences of joy and pain; laughter and sadness. Tina bixi The funny thing is, though it's not mentioned, is that many black families really do not approve of nor want for their child to marry other than black. The absolute worse is to marry a white person. Many consider that a major step down. The big difference is that once the child is determined to go through with, the family rallies round to make the intended feel welcome. Love is extended and the person becomes family. His family and "friends" missed the most important event of his life, something no doubt most of them will always regret. If it was about the objection to Primrose being African, then a white blue-eyed blond would have been just as objectionable. Primrose is an extraordinary person as well as stunningly beautiful and any family of any race or culture should thank their god that she had been brought into the bloodline of that family. Jas is a fortunate man.

My Fiancee is punjabi Sikh and I'm Nigerian....CHOCOLATE Nigerian - I can't even pretend to blend into a sari!!! lol - anyway, I'm still in my own world and not facing reality that My wedding can be like this, I would throw a major tantrum and prank call all the relatives that snubbed me!
