Hi there, We just purchased an Ecovac N10, and for the most part we’re really happy with its performance. However it really seems to struggle with one room - our living room. It’s mapped successfully and has given the room a ‘zone’, but only hovers the parameter of the room, or just finds it’s self going around in circles with no logical route (works fine in all other rooms). Possibly worth noting that our living room is carpeted and the rest of the ground floor, where it’s working fine, is wooden. Any support greatly appreciated.
Hi. Sorry for the late response. Did you tidy up the living room? Perhaps too much furniture around? The sensors may have problems with identifying the room itself. U may want to try to remove some furniture or try putting it away while it cleans/scans. I hope this helps.
Is it still good? Do you encounter any issue with the app as people often criticize their app. Is it worth compared to Roborock Q5 pro, Q8 max or Xiaomi Vacuum S10+? Thanks for your detailed review and hope you answer me.
So far it’s working just fine. The app is useful for operating and tracking. However, after using this type of robot, the camera is pretty useless. Don’t really need to access the camera very much.. honestly, I haven’t tried the Roborock or Xiaomi but I probably would try it next, as I’ve had problems with the previous model. The only problem I have with the T10 is that all the side brushes have broken apart. Need to buy spares.
@@ReviewWhizz Mine having water on the ozmo pro tray and underside surface of robot (not the floor) after cleaning. Have another one but the problem still remain. Don't know why
Thx. for the review. The dust bags, are they reusable? if not, how often do you have to dispose it and how much does it cost? How do you rate N10 V/s T10 models?
For the basic version that I have, there is no auto empty station, thus no dust bag. However I did hear that the dust bags are reusable as long as it is not damaged. The dust bin in the Deebot T10 is reusable. All u need to do is just empty it out after each cleaning session. The T10 has more features compared to the N10. Such as the oscillating mopping pad, the front camera which u can view through the app, and voice control. Depending on how much you want to utilize those extra features. Btw, the camera is not infrared, thus cannot see in the dark. In terms of vacuum performance, they are both pretty much the same.
Hi there. It does still work well. Hanya saja, the bristles on the side brushes all have broken off. I had to buy a new pair. I am able to save layouts of two floors on the Ecovacs app. So when I do move it, I can choose which floor it is on.
Salfok sama enggres nya bagus banget. Kirain orang luar negri. Pas liat store nya eh di plaza Indo 😂. Anyway thanks for review. I am abt to purchase this too !
Both robots are about the same, based on other reviews I’ve seen also. However, you should consider the after sales service. Is there a service center? How is the warranty? Is there an official offline store? Etc..
Roborock by a big margin..I have T9+ and the mapping in ecovac is horrendous, if you close your door during auto clean it will refuse to go to that close room in the next cleaning cycle, even worse sometime it will create brand new map so you need to setup all the mapping preference again, this known issue for long time just Ecovac did not bother to update the older robot , while Roborock will keep updating the robot.
Also after only about 1 year of use, the components of the Ecovacs starts to fall apart. All the brushes on both side brushes of my Ecovacs T10 have snapped already. Hasnt even been 1/2 a year yet.
Yes, i do tidy up as much as I can before every clean but I know I should have shown a test with obstacles. But generally, it does avoid large obstacles such as table and chair legs and such.
@@basharkamal it did not avoid cables. To be honest, I’d like to try a different brand, perhaps Roborock, as I encountered some problems with the deebot. But it also depends where you’re living. Is there an official service center nearby and a place to claim the warranty.
Very much detailed review, thanks!
My pleasure 😇

@@ReviewWhizz Do you have water leaking on the ozmo pro tray and on the underneath surface of the robot after have it vacuum and mop the house?
@@topworld6623 no I do not. But on an older model, Ozmo 900, the water couldn’t even flow. Had to get that fixed.

Hey, kalau boleh tanya how is it now? Any problems on the unit? And if your house has 2 floors can it still work? Thanks

Can you move only the unit? Or the dock has to move as well?
@bryanjonathan1580 it can still work without the dock. You just won’t be able to charge it. The dock is only for charging.
Do you have to change the vacuum mode to mopping mode?
You can either switch to vacuum mode only or vacuum + mop.
Is this product recognize cable?
To be honest, not really sure. The ad says it does, but mine doesn’t always avoid cables. It does sometimes though.
Does it mop well on ceramic floor
Yes it does actually. You can set different speeds of scrubbing and water flow.
@@ReviewWhizz how about real wood floor? moping is good?
@@CS2RCS it works just as fine. You may need to set the scrubbing mode on gentle. My bedroom uses real wood also.
