I mean the playing is good but this is my favourite Guns N Roses song and imo a lot of not all of the added/improvised parts were completely unneeded, they just made the song sound worse as they added nothing to an already pretty damn powerful drum track

I liked your your cymbal improvisation at the beginning, but I disliked your fills. Sometimes you just have to let the masterpiece be. Too much bass pedal at some parts as well. Solid job though, I enjoyed it. As an after note, your fill around 5:10 was just right, you were on beat with it. One struggle that a lot of drummers have is being on beat with their fills, because they are so busy trying to do an impressive fill. One person I will cite as doing more with less is Nick Mason from Floyd.
Ye is doing more fills than the original but that's how you get better as a drummer and learn new licks. Iv always added tempo build ups to chorus parts and added different fills. It's how you get your own feel and style to drumming
The change during vocals don't fit. I appreciate the inventiveness but the extra changes didn't fit. Obviously a very talented drummer, you are but not all songs need to be played with changes. Some originals need to be left alone. .
The tuning sound of the snare and the cymbal are all great - playing at its finest
