AD Surgical Hydrogel Wound & Scar Care Dressings are made from medical-grade polyurethane materials with exclusive patented technology. They are developed with a unique 2-step protocol for fast wound recovery and minimal scar formation after skin injuries or surgery.
First, the Hydrogel Wound Dressing is applied on the wound (for up to 7 days) to regulate and to create a moist healing environment that promotes rapid wound healing. After wound healing or suture removal, the Hydrogel Scar Care Dressing is applied weekly (for up to 6 months) to minimize tension surrounding the scar area and to reduce keloid tissue. The scar care dressing also supports and closes up the wound and hydrates the scar.
